Easy to find, clean and tidy and well maintained. Host was very obliging and helpful as we arrived later than expected . Pleasant property, spacious rooms with great amenities
On main road so a bit noisy, but on the whole fine

Nice modern rooms with lovely comfortable beds. Beautiful snuggly extra blankets provided and great modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Lovely and close to fabulous coastal scenery too.

The room was clean and tidy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Laundry on site was easy to use and conveniently located.

Location on main street but right in the middle of town was perfect, easy to walk to town and walkways etc plus no problem getting in or out of driveway. Parking on site was great. Large, comfy room with good facilities all provided and excellent beds. Recommend as a place to stay.
There was nothing we didn't like about The Highway Lodge Motel.

The bed was comfortable, sky TV, aircon, full kitchen
The neighbors were very in love all night long both night so no padding in the walls..lol
The toilet needed repairing as it ran the whole time. We turned it off each night.

located on the main road through Balclutha the room did get some road noise. They were able to accommodate me on the ground floor when I asked. Had Sky to watch the rugby and league.

Staff were very pleasant.
Loved the king bed so comfy, and we had a wonderful sleep.
The spa was lovely.
I liked the option of an open shower 🚿 too.
The kitchenette had all I needed.
The TV worked great. I didn't have to play around with channels.
Chairs were high-backed and comfortable.
The room was right next to the road but didn't hear a thing, even with the trucks.

Great location for biz travel. Lovely staff and although the room was old style it was very warm and comfortable. Clean and tidy,, good clean linen, electric blankets and decent shower pressure.

Freshness!! When you walk in, the smell in the room is so inviting. It was clean and our room was pre warmed, which was very thoughtful of our hosts! It was very comfy and we didn't want to leave!!! Thank you for making our stay amazing

Good location and although on the main road, our unit was quiet. There was no shortage of towels which was great! The perk coffee was excellent.
