Situato su 10 acri magici di prato prevalentemente aperto, circondato da alberi secolari e foreste ricoperte di muschio con un terzo miglio di costa privata, il cottage ha i suoi esclusivi due acri e 300 piedi di costa. Proprio orto biologico e proprio focolare esclusivo. Uso in comune con altri cottage di due kayak e una canoa. Lancio sul posto per la tua piccola barca. Un rifugio sereno e pacifico per la contemplazione, o un'occasione speciale .. un favorito di scrittori, artisti, fotografi, naturalisti, canoisti esperti, pescatori e astronomi dilettanti. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve fallen in love with Stonington over the past several years, and this trip made it so memorable. Having access to the kayaks was amazing, and we loved being so close to downtown. We saw thousands of fireflies light up the meadow at night and the view of the cove and meadow never gets old. There’s even a decent stocked market right down the road. We can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, bright, charming Maine cottage on a scenic inlet overlooking the cove. Simple, creative accommodations; enjoyed fresh cut, beautifully arranged flowers from her garden. Lindsay is such a thoughtful host.. she surprised us one day with a box of fresh strawberries. At night, the meadow was full of fireflies. A very special place.

I was looking for privacy and quiet; did not realize the host lives right next door and the very busy road runs just behind cottage. Beautiful views in front, road noise from behind, which I’m sensitive to. Floors are chipping their paint and are uneven, hard to get clean.
Everything else above floor was clean. As a yoga practitioner the floor is important.
I know what questions to ask next time.

Lovely property. House very clean and quaintly decorated. Did not realize the owners house was right next door. She was a lovely host and did not intrude on us. We wanted to be in a private spot. Overall I would recommend a stay. Lovely trail down to the water front. So relaxing.

We loved our week in this artfully decorated and very comfortable cottage overlooking tidal Crockett Cove. Hugely enjoyed the place, its immediate environs and also the broader area. Greatly enjoyed periodic interactions with owner Lindsay who provided great recommendations about local sights and activities.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Stonington Cottage. It's a gorgeous spot and comfortable cottage. The owner was so helpful in filling us in on area interests, restaurants and things not to be missed. The quiet and restfulness of the spot was so lovely.

Extremely beautiful location! Very cozy cottage with great views. Cottage has all the amenities you would need for "staying put", but not far from hiking trails, shops, restaurants, and lobster boats! Owner was always available if needed and gives GREAT advice on where to go and what to do. Awesome getaway for a couple to decompress and breathe. We will be coming back for sure!

This is by far the best property I've ever vacationed at. It is cozy, private and has a beautiful view. The host is accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. She really goes above and beyond.
This is a lovely island with alot of history and great seafood.

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful relaxing ‘get away’ in a place of natural beauty. Cove Meadow couldn’t have been more perfect. This cottage is quaint and comfortable. The setting and surrounding area gorgeous. The cottage sits above the bay, surrounded by a lovely wildflower meadow . Lindsay, the owner, was the perfect hostess; Knowledgeable about the area and helpful in every way. We’d highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves nature, the sea, and who also enjoys the charm of a small seaside village. Stonington is delightful!

I have always dreamed of staying at a magical place such as this. It is an artist destination. Everywhere you look it is magnificent. This has been the most relaxation I have ever done on vacation. The cottage is well stocked. Vegetables and flowers, kayaks, canoe, books, firepit, grill scenery and chairs outside to take it all in. We saw the full moon rise with all the stars around it, The area is very laid back with great seafood and wonderful hiking. We will go back!!! Mo and Fran ,Chesterfield ,NJ

Cove Meadow is truly "a little bit of heaven"...Maine-style!
Sweet lovely cottage, perfect for a couple. Well equipped kitchen; fun to cook in as there is a vegetable garden alongside for the tenants use!! Fabulous lettuce, peas, herbs, celery, and more. Gorgeous view that changes throughout the day with magical paths to wander in among the wild meadow grasses, down to grassy areas overlooking the rocks and beach of the cove. Canoe and kayaks available. The whole area of Deer Isles is a feast for hikers, arts people, everyone!!

Beautifully decorated and located in a gorgeous and private area, this is my favorite cottage in Stonington. Lindsey is also the sweetest and most considerate hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

Maine Paradise!
Best vacation ever with the most wonderful host, Lindsay! She made us feel right at home and we are so grateful to her for sharing her adorable cottage with its ringside seat to the glory of nature. The cove, the adjoining meadow, and Deer Isle itself are beautiful beyond what words can describe. We highly recommend this getaway spot and can't wait to return!!!

Slice of Heaven
An absolutely magical little hideaway. Lindsay's meadow on the cove is just the most relaxing spot to unwind, disconnect and soak in the beauty around you. Lindsay was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat, shop and visit. We used her kayaks to explore the cove and the fire pit made for a great place to watch the sunset and have a glass of wine. I didn't make a dent in the book I brought to read because every time I sat outside to read it, I ended up staring at the trees and listening to the birds instead -- it was just too wonderful to ignore. The location on Deer Island was great being far enough away from the day-to-day tourists to feel peaceful, yet close enough to make day trips easy. The harbor area in Stonington was quite charming and the fresh seafood was amazing. We were sad to leave and will definitely visit again.

Welcoming, comforting, rejuvenating. Step out the front door of this sweet cottage and connect with the sights and sounds of the cove. Loved to watch the tide come in and out.

Pleasant stay
Everything we wanted in atmosphere and small town environment. Not as well stocked with basic items (coffee,salt, tongs) as most VRBO we have stayed at Info from owner was spot on as she guided us to some very fun experiences. Also let us use her kayaks and fire pit was nice. All in all a nice stay and somewhere we would return to.

Lovely Respite
We loved our stay at Cove Meadow. It was such a beautiful tranquil cottage. I especially loved the way everything looked in the various lighting from the moment the morning dawned until the sun set. It was spectacular!

Cove Meadow
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this quaint cottage with the best views of the cove. Loved watching the sun come up over the meadow, quiet evenings sitting by the firepit. Lindsay is such a lovely host. We hope to be back again

Our stay at meadow cove
We had a spectacular experience! Lindsay was a wonderful host who was available to offer great suggestions and also afforded us the privacy we wanted. Kayaking and swimming in the cove was great! Loved exploring Deer Isle and Stonington along with the rest of the Blue Hill Penninsula.
The water view from the front deck provided a relaxing spot to enjoy a glass of wine each evening. We had such a wonderful experience. Thank you Lindsay for all you do to be a super host!!!

Peace and tranquillity
Lovely, quiet site with easy access to all of Deer Isle and we found that Acadia NP/Bar Harbor was a reasonable drive for day trips. A little like stepping back in time - in a good way, with a friendly host eager for us to take advantage of the area while we enjoyed being away from daily routines.

This cottage is perfect in every way, from the hand-painted floors to the gauzy curtains swaying in the breeze. Lindsey was a perfect host. Stonington is idyllic. We loved our stay!

An enchanting cottage nestled on the shore of a stunning cove. Lindsay is a considerate and helpful hostess. A canoe and 2 kayaks make for an adventure…and wait until you try digging for clams! We had the time of our lives and hope to return in the future.

Excellent getaway
We had such a great time with our 7 year old here! Lindsay was an informative and gracious host. She taught us some foraging skills and even made us popovers when we missed them at Jordan pond! The cove is beautiful and serene, we could have spent the whole time at the house and never been bored!
