I go to the Cape every year the last week of June. This year I decided to try this location on VRBO. From start to finish the experience was wonderful. The house looks small, but is located in a very private setting in an almost gated community with 5 other rentals and a large house at the entrance (our landlords). Our place had 6 beds and a brand new fully stocked kitchen, the pictures on VRBO do not do this rental justice, it is much nicer, much more spacious and very modern. The location is tremendous, and the owners are extremely attentive and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a trouble free vacation. The house even has central air, a large screen TV, outdoor as well as indoor shower, and plenty of outdoor parking. Do not be fooled by the picture, this location is perfect for a party of 6.

This was our second year staying here and we love it! Our granddaughter can walk the property and not be near the main road and the hosts and neighbors are so friendly. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and the bike path. We have always loved dennisport and have stayed other places over the years but this place is our new favorite!

First- please know the property is much nicer than the pictures portray. The kitchen, in particular, is so much nicer than what you see in the pics. It is all updated with new appliances, countertops, and cabinets. It is well equipped. The cabin is decorated with a nice Americana / Cape Cod theme. The location was surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and Sundae School! The property manager responded quickly to questions during the stay. My family was overall really pleased with our stay and said that they would definitely want to stay again.

Nice, quiet cluster of houses that are close to amenities. Very responsive to our needs. Very warm house with limited air circulation (AC units in windows made it impossible to get cross current) so it was uncomfortable at times. The upside was that we ended up enjoying the outdoor patio more than we otherwise might have!

Property was as advertised. Our family had a great week.

The cottage was perfect for our stay. Very close to beach and even closer to ice cream! Our host was so nice. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and even gave us a welcome bag! Will definitely stay there again!

This cottage is perfect for a stay in Dennisport. Set back off the road anong five other cottages, there is plenty of yard space for corn hole set up and a patio to sit and relax. Its a quick .4 mile bike to the beach and close to restaurants and ice cream. The house sleeps 7, is well stocked with necessities, and the red, white and blue decor.... 💙 The open living room/dining area is plenty big enough for everyone to sit and be together. The hosts are super friendly and were in their cottage nearby so it was nice to chat with them. We definitely want to come back!

Hosts are so friendly and responsive. The welcome bag was filled with thoughtful goodies and the location was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for morning runs. We went to the ice cream place around the corner too many times. Thank you for a great vacation!

We had a wonderful time using this property, the kitchen was AWESOME and well stocked with everything we needed (we are big cooks). The patio was pleasant, the space for our family and extended family was perfect. I also loved the outdoor shower. We took walks down to the beach which was only 10 minutes away. And added bonus we were walking distance from ice cream :). Mimi and her husband were so responsive and was a pleasure speaking to. Overall we had a wonderful time and I definitely recommend this property.

This cottage is the perfect choice for a family vacation. It is within walking distance from the beach, the garden offers an ample and safe space for kids to play in the shade, the house is sparkling clean and Mimi is the most thoughtful host possible. We will be back next year!

We loved this place! The cottage is very well maintained and extremely clean. Great location in a quiet, private area with plenty of outdoor space under the trees. Ten minutes walking to the beach. Mimi was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely come back!

Good place to stay in. 7 beds was good to have so we could have plenty of company. Less than half mile to beach. Plenty of restaurants in the area also. Definitely recommend.

Nice house, spacious for my family of 5. All we need was available. Large parking area that fit my car with boat on trailer. It was comfortable stay, friendly owners and neighbors. The ocean temperature was very warm.

This was a wonderful end of the summer vacation! The kitchen was totally stocked, my sons said the WiFi worked great and we enjoyed sitting out back have coffee in the morning and wine by candlelight in the evening. Mimi was extremely responsive and accommodating! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home!

We loved the place so very much! Wonderful location (10 minutes walking to the Sea str beach), clean house, really well equipped kitchen. It was very nicely decorated inside too. The kitchen is new, the furniture, tv, appliances are all new. 2 bedrooms and living each have small air-conditioning unit, third bedroom has a ceiling fan. The owners are very welcoming and nice people. Overall we had very enjoyable stay and will definitely consider coming back next year.

Awesome place! Stayed with my husband, sister, brother-in-law, and 2 children. More then enough room. Yard and outdoor space were used more then anything else (besides the kitchen, which is fully updated and stocked with what we needed). Met the owners on our trip as well, who are super sweet! Fresh herbs also on the patio, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

July 2017 will be our 11th year renting this cottage with the last 10 being consecutive years. The owners continue to upgrade the cottage with the latest being a complete redesign of the kitchen 4-years ago with new refrigerator and stove. A/C (window units) have been added to the master BR and LR/DR areas-certainly helps when those warm and humid days/evenings show up. There are ample fans in the other two BRs to allow for comfortable sleeping. The bed rooms can sleep 7 people with a queen size bed in the master BR and 2 and 3 twin beds in the other 2 BRs (great for visiting family). Kitchen and dining areas are adjacent to each other and there's a comfortable LR with a flat screen TV. Internet access is provided which comes in handy, particularly for those who must combine work with their vacation. Three years ago, the owners added a gas grill to complement the built-in charcoal grill on the patio, an excellent addition! The cottage is 1 of 5 cottages in a quiet setting of the main road (Sea Street) and, if you're an ice cream lover, just a 3-minute walk to the Sundae School Shoppe. Sea Street Beach is just a 1/2 mile walk. While parking at the beach is sufficient, the short distance is a good thing because parking is expensive on a daily basis ($20/day and $25 on holidays). Traffic is typical for a tourist vacation area during the season; however, with a little pre-planning it is very manageable. There are ample restaurants in the immediate vicinity ranging from fast food to quite nice-all within 20 minutes. Several supermarkets and fish markets are close by (~20 minutes). There are movie and stage theaters close by and the Dennis South-side Civic Association provides free concerts every Tuesday on the village green in which mostly local talent plays all kinds of music. Adjacent Harwich has their Town Stroll during the season in which all shops are open and with various bands playing different music on nearly every street corner. Whale watch and seal watch outings are nearby. Hyannis is but 30 minutes away. Taking Rt 28 in late afternoon or early evening can be a challenge. P-town is about an hour away while Woods Hole and the National Oceanographic Institute and museum is about a 90 minute drive. Ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard depart from nearby Harwich or Hyannis. It's a great cottage that will help provide a memorable vacation. The owners are an easy phone call away and are very responsive to any concern.

We had a wonderful stay. We were very happy they had a few air conditioners since it got quite hot the week we stayed, lots of fans too. We had 7 adults and we had plenty of room. One bathroom but we alternated just fine. wonderful out side cookout area and grill and we had room for our visitors cars. This is located on a private little circle away from the crowd. Just a short walk to the beach. Owner was very accommodating to our needs. I would rent this house again.

My wife and I spent a fun week at this wonderful cottage in the fall of 2012. We shared the home with another couple and found we had plenty of space and privacy. The cottage is very quiet as it is tucked into the back of a small compound of five cottages. We parked our cars right next to the cottage and found walking to the nearby beaches, restaurants, and shops an easy stretch of the legs. We had a wonderful time and found the accommodations quite pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and furnishings perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen and appreciated the roomy dining area. Many cottages in the area are small and don’t really feel like home. We found ourselves just as comfortable here as we do at our Virginia mountain home. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. While one does not go to Cape Cod to watch TV or use the Internet we found both of these amenities useful. If you have kids I’m sure they will appreciate the cable TV and the fast Internet speeds. We also very much liked the small picnic area just outside the kitchen. It was great for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. There is an outdoor shower that is useful at keeping the beach sand outside. This is a real plus for kids. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We are looking forward to more trips to Cape Cod and when we go we will certainly return to this lovely cottage.

My family and I just spent a week at this house and thoroughly enjoyed it! Well maintained, very clean, ample sleeping with a nice size eating and sitting area, and definitely has that "new england cottage" feel to it. Since it sits back on a shaded cul de sac, we particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the brick patio surrounded by trees. The location was very convenient...an easy walk to the shore, and about 1 mile to the public beach. Several good restaurants are nearby, not to mention the Sundae Shoppe Ice Cream just around the corner. Since Dennisport sits about midway out on the cape, it was a pretty easy drive for our excursions to Chatham, Falmouth, and Hyannis (fortunately for us, traffic wasn't so bad since we were after Labor Day). We absolutely recommend this for those looking for a relaxing getaway.

This will be our 3rd consecutive summer in this cottage (3-weeks each time). Very comfortable, very clean, and with 3 BRs (1 w/dble bed, 1 w/2 twin beds, and 1 w/3 twin beds, all with decent closets), great for having guests or family members visit. In addition to the 1 bath, there is an enclosed outside shower. The very functional kitchen is adjacent to a large dining/living room arrangement, with dining table for 6 adults. There is a large picnic table and patio (wish it were covered for those few rainy days on the Cape), with built-in charcoal grill. The cottage is 1 of 5 cottages in a quiet setting off the main road in a relatively secluded location. If you're an ice cream lover, there is the renowned Sundae School Shoppe-a mere 3-minute walk. To burn off the ice cream calories, the Sea Street Beach is just an easy 1/2 mile walk away. While parking is ample at the beach, it costs approximately $10-$12/day-another reason for the walking option. While traffic is typical for a tourist area, it, with pre-planning, is very manageable. Traffic is typically heavy during the late afternoon and early evening hours, particularly if one uses Rt 28 and the Bass River Bridge going towards Hyannis. The cottage is within a short driving distance of a couple of large supermarkets and some local markets, and there are many souvenir shops. Restaurants of all types are abundant (sea food lovers delight). One can easily drive into Hyannis in 30 minutes or P-town in 60 minutes. Woods Hole and the National Oceanographic Institute is about 90 minutes. Ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard depart from nearby Harwich and, of course, Hyannis. There are also several whale-watcher departure locations nearby. If the weather cooperates, you should have a memorable vacation while staying at this cottage. If any problems occur with respect to the cottage, the owners are an easy phone call away and have been very responsive to any concerns.
