The location is fantastic & the balcony , pool area means that all meals can be spent looking at a terrific view. It is close to a really good walk through lovely countryside . Check out the website for La Via dei Frati. The Villa itself is well designed and cosy . The bedrooms & bathroooms a reasonable size. Showers work well & water hot. Kitchen - well equipt. Fire works well for the chilly evenings in May . . Don't be put off by the cons .really I have put them as an suggestion for you to ask about.

There are some gliches Some things are a bit hit & miss ( But we were an 'older group and perhaps expect a bit more detail ) The achual location is not as per the ( at the time of writing) Booking.com link& it is difficult to find the achual gate . ( However the owner's sister is very helpful) Given the COLD nights more than one firelighter and some old paper and cut wood would have been great. There are sofa blankets and extra duvets for nights but the spaces are pretty chilly. The chance of the electricity tripping is high . We were warned but when it happens in the dark a torch would be very helpful rather than a panic about low battery phones ! Pool.is more of a splash pool.

Amazing, authentic villa in the mountains with stunning views! 😍

One of the best Booking experiences ever. We’ve stayed in Villa Cosimo for 9 days (5 people). The house is a hidden gem in the mountains with a perfect view. Peace and quiet. You hear nothing but birds singing which is amazing from early morning till the evening. House itself is very well equipped and spacious. You’ll find everything you need in the kitchen to cook. There’s also a barbecue near pool. Beds are very comfortable. There are two bathrooms and a cozy living room with fireplace and 2 couches. Luigi, the owner is very nice and extremely helpful with anything you need. I’d definitely go back anytime soon!

Amazing view, very cool design with a history to it: the owner renovated his family home but left charming design and details. The design is special - a mix in styles which you can’t label. Cool patio for breakfasts, cozy fireplace, lots of thoughtful details and most of kitchen appliances. Relaxing escapist environment - almost nobody around and you feel local and quiet. Cool system allows you to play music outdoors over the mountains and pool. The tall beautiful trees and green garden, outdoor mosaics are just amazing! The location is a 15 min ride into the mountains - for us it was a plus but has to be taken into account. Be sure not to follow you navigator onto Via Croce Parrino shortcut and follow the wider road up! All in all, it is a very unique experience.

It wasn’t immaculately clean. Most of the things we used - we had to freshen up first. In late September it was quite cold and we put the fireplace to good use every day. The rooms were a bit damp.
