It was just what we needed for a week of fishing

We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to relax. It is not a 4 bedroom home though. Only 3. The views of the sun setting were awesome.

It was awesome, nice view,the kayaks and bikes were cool. My employees enjoyed the stay and would like to visit again in the future. Our host was very helpful and if we needed anything she was there for us. Thank you and look forward to visiting again soon.

So clean and well stocked. Loved bikes and kayaks included. Wish the bath was functional but otherwise no complaints. Great place for large groups

Stayed for two weeks and the house was fantastic. It had everything you’d need for your stay! The house was very clean and comfy. The smart TV was great so I could keep up on my shows. The kayaks and bikes were a fun bonus that were definitely utilized. The owner was so kind and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood and neighbors were lovely.

The home was wonderful, with everything needed for a weekend or a longer stay. There is plenty of room for family, and if you are visiting friends, them to come gather, as well.

We enjoyed are stay in Hudson. The home was stocked and full entertainment options. The bed on the first floor was firm so I slept upstairs on the softer bed due to my back issues. Thanks enjoy!

Lots of things that were advertised were not there. Outside and tiki shower were very unkept. Also deck was collapsing. Told owner and he said it would be fixed. We were there for 1 month and no one fixed it. Screen was missing on gazebo. Pictures on the ad looked like old ones. No pet door for the dogs to use or fenced in yard. First aid kit was empty, no laundry soap, furniture was dirty, vacumn did not work, one shower head did not work properly(no hot water), hot water in kitchen was only warm, cupboards had old, opened food, had a few cockroaches, no spectrum tv or DVD player, no popcorn popper, very few cleaning products and towels. Pans were dirty and no items to use for baking in the oven. Upstairs bathroom had a bad odor, air conditioner units filters were never cleaned. Outside grill was filthy and full of grease. Parrot room had a strong dog odor. Closets and cabinets had lots of items just thrown in them. They were a mess. We were very disappointed in the rental. Would not rent again or recommend it. The property is rundown needs a deep cleaning and freshening up.

The location is an easy paddle from the Gulf waters and about halfway between the locations we wanted to visit - St Pete/Clearwater and Crystal River/Weekiwatchee Preserve. Connie was super responsive to our questions and needs. An excellent stay.

Owner was gracious and gave us a few extra nites because of ELSA Delaying our vaca. Quite neighborhood and good location for various day trips in the area. Thanks Connie.. we enjoyed ur home!

Would stay there again

The house had plenty of space for the whole family. It was stocked with everything you need.

I like this property, it has the canal in the back of the house you can do fishing ,kayaking And barbecue is offered by the house owners. It is So convenient to the shopping . We have a lot of fun I recommend property owners is very nice.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a few days of kayaking, and it was THE BEST location for getting to the Gulf! We had everything we needed and more to relax in the house and property as well. The hosts went above and beyond in what they have available for guests. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed at this property for 90 nights and had plenty of room to spread out with my office, my husbands office and the many guests that came to visit us. All the beds were comfortable and the linens very nice. The backyard we enjoyed the most in the morning having coffee and in the evening during cocktail time. The birds were so entertaining from the herons to the peacocks.; we also enjoyed a few visits from dolphins and manatee. We have a great video of a dolphin visit while our granddaughter was there - it really was a magical experience that we were able to capture on our phones. Fishing off the floating dock was a hoot and we even caught some blue crabs. The view across the canal is very pleasing and the neighborhood is friendly and nice. We took advantage of the kayaks and went to Hudson Bay and Weeki Wachee Springs (our favorite place to kayak and saw so many manatee). We also ventured to Hernando Beach area and enjoyed exploring that area too. The location of the house is perfect for day trips to the Clearwater and Tampa area. The owners were so easy to communicate with and very attentive to any problem that arose. I would highly recommend this house if you are not looking for a 5 star accommodation. The price point allows you a large house, super location and a wonderful backyard. We loved staying here.

We loved this house. We had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and plenty of space for everyone to eat together. This house was pup friendly and our little puppy ran all over the yard and on the deck. She loved it! We had coffee under the gazebo in the back yard over looking the canal while the kids fished off the dock. There were also kayaks and the kids used them down the canal. Store was close for shopping. Boat rental and bait shop close by too. And Connie was so helpful. We will defanetly stay here again!

very beautiful and pleasant we had a great time

We live about an hour away and were looking for a nice quiet place for a staycation. This place was perfect. Lots of room, stocked kitchen that made it easy to prep meals, comfortable furniture, great wifi and lots of little extras. We used the gas grill, enjoyed some of the games, watched movies and enjoyed the back yard. Owner checked on us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed which was nice. The property is not new and pristine but rather homey and warm, just perfect for us! We will use this location again in the future, if needed!

We had an overall great stay. Adorable house and would go back. The only issues was us not understanding the tv but they came over and helped as soon as we called. The other issue we had was our check in time. Connie was at work so when we arrived we didn’t have the key or code or anything and we was stuck outside in tge heat for almost an hour or more. We had to ask the neighbors for where Connie lived and he helped us find them. Her husband was very kind and felt pretty bad about it when we finally found there home and he gave us the code. But overall. Great trip

Everything was great. Well stocked kitchen. The kayaks and bikes were definitely nice to have. The owners are literally just a few minutes away and got back to us very quickly if they didn’t answer immediately. We only had a couple questions anyway. One of the TVs stopped working, which wasn’t a big deal to us, but they were very quick to bring in another and swapped it out. I would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it.

This was an amazing trip! The waterway, literally out the back door was fabulous! We were 3 families(my parent, my husband and I and our 2 children and my brother, his wife and their 3 children.) The kids fished in the back dock the entire time we stayed! It is an older house but there was plenty of space and the outdoor space was such a bonus. The house was clean, had ample sleeping space and we even had snacks provided. There was an issue with one of the bathrooms which was a bit of an issue but the owners attended to us immediately. Hopefully this will be a fix that won't be too painful for them after we leave, again, just the nature of an older house. The outdoor shower became a fun adventure and replaced the bathroom that was out of commission. For the price, this location cannot be beat. It is charming and the outdoors space on the water to sit and enjoy or for fishing is invaluable. New even had a swift visit by a dolphin one evening who made quite a showing down to the mangrove and back. I hope we can visit this area again! The location is great!

Although our visit was for a family emergency, this little house was perfect. Connie’s hospitality was really amazing. At the end of long difficult days, the cheery decor was welcoming and needed. Can’t thank you enough!

We have been working in the area for 6 months and stayed in many different short-term rentals. Connie's place was one of the better places. She was thoughtful and had everything ready for our stay, including breakfast. I was recommended her place for anyone staying in the area.

We all enjoyed our stay. Hudson beach has a couple of great restaurants to enjoy and watch the sunset. We visited Clearwater and St Pete Beach which are reasonably close as well as the Tampa aquarium. Fishing off the dock behind the house was good as well. Everything we needed for ten people to enjoy the house was there and Connie couldn't have been a better hostess.

Two families with 6 total guests enjoyed our week in Hudson in the tropical decor cottage. Cottage was perfect for our stay, clean, spacious, welcoming and cozy! It is obviously loved by its owner and it showed by the care placed from the beautiful decor and little expressions of hospitality from snacks and availability of any item you might need. We would highly recommend this cottage to all and would love to book and live in paradise again. Thank you Connie and family, The Gamble's and The Hunter's.
