Good location and homely feel

Everything good except for a bad smell in the kitchen which we could not find the cause.

The cottage was easily located just off Tetbury high street. Beautiful quaint house with everything you could need. Comfy beds

Lovely old dog friendly cottage within easy walking distance of Tetbury . It was very warm and cosy despite the dreadful weather we had at the time . Little touches like fresh flowers and a cake on arrival were appreciated.

Parking is main drawback but no big issue . Difficult to get a spot outside the house to unload bags etc. but was a car park across the road

Lovely to walk into a beautiful, cosy little house and find lamps lit and cake and fresh flowers waiting for us - immediate relaxation! Well equipped and beautifully decorated and so close to the centre of Tetbury. Somehow managed to leave a bag of presents behind but host messaged me and posted on very quickly - much appreciated!

The location was central and the courtyard gave a little outside space

We thought the cottage was very tastefully decorated and equipped. The owners had obviously put a lot of thought into it. It was very conveniently situated and we were able to park directly outside, although there is a dedicated parking space in a Council property opposite but we did not need to use it. It had a small garden and we were able to have lunch out there which was nice. We very much enjoyed our stay in this characterful little cottage, and the owners even provided a coffee cake on our arrival - my husband's favourite.

It was on quite a busy road but, for three nights, we survived that just fine! The only real snag would be if I had been on my own and not with my husband as I am quite short and could not reach the lockbox with the key in it and you also need a torch to be able to read the numbers. My husband fortunately did have a torch with him! Also, eating in the kitchen could be a squeeze for four people - we were only two and it was fine.

We loved our stay at New Church Cottage. It’s cosy, clean and welcoming. The two beautifully furnished bedrooms are surprisingly spacious and very comfortable, and the location in the heart of Tetbury but not on the busiest streets is perfect. The hosts have thought of everything, including extra touches like milk in the fridge and a home-baked cake. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back.

Road was busy so a bit noisy

Everything. Back terrace is bigger than expected and such a suntrap. Walking distance to some fabulous shops and eateries. Plenty of space and comfy beds. Had a great time.

Very comfortable bed, we’ll equipped kitchen, nice size living room and bedrooms all tastefully decorated. 2 mins walk from the centre of town, a very useful allocated parking space.

The kitchen may be a little on the small side for four adults but was perfect for the two of us.

Fabulous location, beautifully appointed. Perfect for Christmas (loved the tree!)

Beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. Very comfortable beds with lovely linen. Felt warm, comfy and a real home from home with carefully selected paintings and antique items. Parking space was appreciated. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

The road was very busy especially in the early mornings and late afternoon.
