We had such a terrific weekend staying here. So much beauty, so much to do! The hosts are incredible. Well stocked cabin with so many perks. Fishing, kayaking, screened in porches, amazing night skies, hot tub, very spacious and lovely home. We really had a tremendously good time. Thank you!!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The house and view we STUNNING! We loved that there were no visible neighbors so we didn’t have to worry about noise or anything. We also enjoyed the pond and wild life. Over all very happy with our stay.

Becky's property was exactly what we were looking for! Extremely spacious with beautiful views and plenty of room for whatever activities you'd like to do. She was very prompt with responding to whatever inquiries we had, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Would HIGHLY recommend!

This is a gorgeous cabin with plenty of space for a large group. The log home is very clean and has everything you will need. The pantry is well stocked for any forgotten item. The pond provided hours of fun for our beginning fishermen along with kayaks to paddle and relax. Excellent communication with the hosts, who left snacks and breakfast items for items for our family. We will be back.

The cabin had comfortable sleeping and plenty of common areas with a hot tub, Netflix, and internet. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel at home by added hospitality of snacks and meals. The real beauty of this rental is the outdoor and recreational space. The pond is entertainment for fishing, swimming, and kayaking, and the endless mowed trails made for beautiful views, exercise, and peaceful walks at sunset.

This was an awesome place for an extended family gathering / celebration weekend. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for multiple families & generations. Fishing was great - all kids caught many bass. The kayaks were used all day long. The pool table got plenty of use one rainy morning. The hosts were very responsive and included many “extras” which made the trip even more fun - breakfast casserole, cookies, and treats throughout the house. Definitely a place we would return to for future family gatherings.

10 of us stayed at the log cabin and there was plenty of room inside and out. The grounds and cabin are beautiful, clean and serene. There was something for everyone to do or just simply unwind. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, grilling and outdoor games (some provided) kept us busy. We have rented homes before but never have had so many extras to make us feel welcome! Becky (hostess) was so easy to work with and answered our questions promptly. If you want to unwind, relax and get close to nature this is the place for you. We would definitely stay again.

Our family of 11, adults, preschooler and toddlers, had a relaxing, VERY enjoyable 4th of July weekend at this location. We were all very comfortable in the cabin, took hikes on the trails and then relaxed while listening to nature in the hot tub. There were many games available that added to our enjoyment. The hosts were wonderful and left us several food surprises. Would highly recommend this location to all!!

The pictures don’t do this justice! The house is so quaint and surrounded by beautiful scenery. We had a great time with plenty of space for our siblings/cousins weekend. We loved the screened porches and the fire pit the most.

Not only was the cabin as great as advertised with plenty of outdoor space, the hosts truly went above and beyond in how helpful and responsive they were. We could not have asked for a better experience here!

The entire experience was flawless and so great. The host was FANTASTIC and very thoughtful throughout the entire stay. The property itself was even better than expected, its beautiful, private, and just a great experience overall.

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect location for our family for our family as we gathered for my husband’s celebration of life. The house was very well appointed and had beautiful views of the pond, which my grandkids and my brother enjoyed fishing! All 12 of us (6 adults & 6 children) were very comfortable here. I have already booked our next stay here for our family holiday celebration!

Fabulous!! This is a beautiful place with a private “resort” feel. The property is huge and is immaculate inside and out. Our family of 9 had the time of our lives! The owners couldn't have been more responsive and helpful, easy easy stay!

Was a beautiful spot, so peaceful, it felt like a big wonderful exhale!!! Great for the family to be together, with plenty to do! Home was very well stocked and owner was lovely to work with and left us many lovely touches!!!

Our family (ages 50, 37, 33, 17, 17, 11, 10, 5) had the best time ever during our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect escape from the state of the world (including the pandemic). The cabin and estate was even better than the pictures could show. There's a master bedroom with en suite on the first level which we didn't see in the pictures - and that was perfect for our sized group. Some of us are high risk for COVID-19 and we were very worried about traveling, but Becky assured us there is a 3 day gap in between rentals and everything is thoroughly cleaned. In addition to the constant communication, she also left us homemade cookies, treats throughout the house, and the best breakfast bake I've ever had. The only possible negative was the internet is satellite (makes sense, you're in the middle of nowhere). But, it made a slight work emergency during our stay difficult to navigate. However, it is WELL worth it for the sounds of nature, the serene land, the wonderful accommodations. Just download some books ahead of your trip, you'll be good to go.

We were very graciously welcomed by the homeowners! Awaiting us was a wonderful lemon pound cake and all the makings for a delicious breakfast. Lots of time was spent relaxing and catching up with family happenings. We so enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, kayaking, s’mores over a bonfire and watching the comet Neowise in the night sky!! This home was so comfortable for our family of 14. Definitely a do over vacation!!

Our family was looking for a weekend getaway close to home and away from crowds. Green Creek Retreat was the perfect fit. The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed for our group of 7 (including 4 kids; ages 7-12). The kitchen and pantry were very well stocked. Having the Traeger grill/smoker was great! Becky left us with a breakfast casserole in the refrigerator and the kids were spoiled with plenty of snacks and candy around the house. The hot tub was clean and well maintained and the entire family enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the pond. We are so happy to have found this gem out in the country! It is an awesome property with wonderful hosts!

This was the perfect location for a long weekend getaway for a group of friends. We had four couples and two others in our group and the home was perfect. There was ample sleeping space for everyone and plenty of room to sit inside and out. The pond provided a nice area that we could fish, kayak and hang out by. The fire pit was also a favorite as it was large enough for us all to sit around comfortably. The owners were very accommodating and went above and beyond many owners I've rented with before. The communication before, during and after was great. All of our questions were answered quickly and most of the questions we had were answered prior to us even asking because of the information sheets we received. The homemade cake and breakfast casserole that were left for us were delicious and there were other goodies spread throughout the house as well. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. It would be perfect for family gatherings or friend groups as well.

A group of friends and I stayed the weekend at Becky and Fred’s cabin and we had a great time. Becky was easy to talk to and was very organized- her responses to all my questions and concerns were answered almost immediately. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and Becky had laid out snacks for our group to enjoy. It was a great weekend get away and anyone would be lucky to stay at Becky and Fred’s. We will for sure be going back!

Their is so much to do and the experience was so much fun! We will definitely be coming back! The owners were amazing and the cabin was just breathtaking

My parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and were planning to return to their honeymoon destination of Barbados to celebrate. Because of COVID-19, that plan was botched so they decided to make a better choice and celebrate with family. Because we have a family of 13 it was difficult to find a place to celebrate due to restrictions. We found Green Creek Retreat and it was PERFECT! It looked great online, but it was even more than advertised. All 13 of us enjoyed the weekend celebrating my parent's and their 50 years of marriage. We only left once for the grocery store and the house was extremely well stocked. Everyone, ranging in age from 9-72 years old, found something to do all weekend; fishing, kayaking, sitting by the fire, cornhole competition, etc. I can't thank Green Creek Retreat and Becky enough for the fabulous hospitality, delicious goodies, and memories! Thank you!!

Our family of 14 love this cabin in the woods! With 4 bedrooms, 2 large family rooms & kitchen we had plenty of room for all. I’ve never seen a kitchen so well stocked. We were able to stay in & prepare our own meals so we never had to leave. And starting our stay with an egg bake ready for us made us feel so welcome. We all love to be outside & although the weather wasn’t ideal (since we were there in December) we still enjoyed hiking the trails. Warming up in the hot tub was the perfect way to end our adventures. Thank you for our perfect family holiday getaway!

Beautiful cabin and amazing host. We were welcomed with a tray of cookies and a basket full of goodie. Pantry and cabinets were stocked with everything you needed. Special touches all around the cabin made us feel right at home . We enjoyed our stay at the Green Creek Retreat.

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful property. Comfortably held 7 adults / 7 Children. Property is located a couple miles from main road which, for us, added to its charm and provided for a very relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

We hoped this would be a great home for our family weekend! Our hopes became a reality!!! First of all, Becky was the greatest communicator throughout our booking, arrival and stay. She can truthfully state that she responds quickly to inquiries. The cabin was so welcoming with homey touches throughout but not cluttered so you didn't have to worry about breaking things or making room for your own things. The porches were awesome for small group visits or play areas for the grandkiddos. And, talk about "little extras!" The Monster Cookies on the table, condiments in the fridge, baskets and bowls of goodies throughout the house were impressive ~ and enjoyed! The beautiful large kitchen table made for fun mealtimes with everyone gathered in one spot. Kayaking was a HUGE hit for everyone, with the campfire ring a close second. I have already recommended the log cabin to two friends. Five stars all the way!
