Everything was as described. Lovely, tree-lined shady neighborhood to walk through and see all the lovely, well-kept homes and gardens. I do wish there had been a way to directly access the front porch as that was THE shady, people-watching, outdoor spot we wanted to sit at to enjoy our morning coffee and take-out lunches. Because the front door is locked, you have to walk out the garage and around the house to sit at the front porch. The backyard is visually a little barren and the picnic table was too sunny to eat at for most of the day with no shade. We did not use the yard at all. Owner was kind to text me to let us know that we could check in an hour earlier. This was greatly appreciated. Yes, I would stay here again if we return to South Haven!

This house is in a great location just a few blocks to the beach and a few blocks to downtown. The sunroom was a great place to hangout. We loved our stay and we have already booked our next trip!

Our family enjoyed a great week at the Best Coast Cottage! The location was great - an easy walk to the beach or into town. The owners were communicative and a pleasure to work with. Although the house is older it is charming and comfortable and we would absolutely stay here again.

I booked this property for a vacation with friends and it was amazing! Ben is very quick at responding & is very helpful and understanding. The house is only a 4 minute walk to the beach and just a little longer to all of the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house!!

We were in town for a family wedding. This location was perfect. Close to beach and walking distance to downtown. Layout was great for us and enjoyed the 3 seasons room. Thx for a great stay!

This house was a great place to stay. The location can’t be beat and the house had a great layout and lovely screened porch. The owners were helpful as well.

Interior doors (bathrooms and bedrooms) need attention, they stick and are hard to open and close.

It was a great location for us (old) girls to gather. Most of us are members of the American Legion which was just one block up and is an awesome place to watch the sunset. We liked being on one level. The kitchen was small and needed more serving/mixing bowls as gourmet food is always something we look forward to cooking. The ice maker was not working, so we had to supply our own ice. Our favorite room we called "The Fish Bowl" which was an open room with many windows, a huge table with chairs where we gathered every morning and night. Curtains or shades would have given us some privacy, it is a very busy street corner for foot and car/truck traffic., plus there are two houses under construction and they start early! .We made due with one shower thanks to a large water heater. We didn't use the TV. The firepit and the grill are located in the far corner of the fenced in back yard, so we didn't use them either. Ben was super helpful and communicated with us by text. We had a nice place to stay for our annual getaway.

We have stayed multiple times and always have a great experience. Ben is wonderful to communicate with and look forward to coming back every year. Location can't be beat!

I would give the location of this property 10 stars if I could. It’s a 5-minute walk to South Beach (and that’s with 4 young kids in tow). Very clean and met our needs perfectly. Loved having that second half-bath/laundry room. Ben and Jen were great hosts. My only regret is that our week in August 2022 is already booked so we can’t go back to the Best Coast Cottage!

We just got back from a week stay and everything was perfect! The house was clean and tiny upon arrival. You can walk one direction to the beach and the other downtown. Really can’t beat the location! They had a wagon we could use to pull beach stuff down to the beach as well. Highly recommend!!!

You cannot beat this location to the beach. Just a short walk and you are there. It is charming inside and out. The fenced in backyard is great too. This cottage was everything our family needed.

My family with three kids under age 10 stayed here. It was a perfect location and house for our stay. I loved how close we were to the beach and downtown. No issues at all!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was absolutely ideal. It was one block from the lake and one block away from the harbor. The house itself was lovely, especially the front room with the large dining table. The owners were wonderful. They reached out several times to be certain we had everything we needed.

Great property with amazing location. Walkable to South Beach and downtown. Very clean with comfortable furnishings and extra amenities, including beach chairs and towels. We’ve stayed at several SoHa properties and this is the best to date.

The location can't be beat - just steps from the beach. Communication was fantastic. We already booked for next year. You would be silly to book anywhere else.

The Owner was AMAZING to work with and extremely attentive to anything we needed. The house was very clean and the yard was great! The only downside was that we had some bad weather days where we had to stay inside and we wished we had a second TV for the kids. Other than that....great experience!
