The top consideration in this condo is location and view. It was SO nice to be beach side and be able to walk right out onto the beach and there wasn’t insane hotel or large condo crowds to deal with. Overall I’d state this condo was a great place to stay. It was clean, had all the little things you may need in the kitchen and the owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. My only con was the sleeping situation. Which I did not raise this issue to the owner so no shame to them. The mattresses were basically glorified air mattresses which wasn’t the best at the end of a beach day. The master bedroom is also 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the condo which the fan directly above your face helps at night but if you sleep hot it’s a rough adjustment. Overall I would recommend staying here, the balcony alone was worth it all being able to see the ocean when we couldn’t be on the beach with our 5 month old.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Right on the beach with balcony overlooking the Gulf. Just how we like it! An added bonus was the seating outside the front door with a view across the island to the Laguna Madre. Perfect location in the middle of the island. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Previous reviews are accurate. The owner is responsive and thorough making everything seamless. The Condo is just as described but actually feels larger than the photos show. We loved that there were drawers to put clothes in and whatever we needed in the kitchen. So nice to be able to set up at the beach and be able to quickly get back up for lunch. The balcony is huge with amazing views and we spent a lot of time out there listening to music and enjoying the ocean.

Excellent communication with property management. Check in/out a breeze. Property was clean and cold AC. Only under a 5 star due to laundry facilities not working correctly. They are outside in the 5th floor walkway (right next to your room). This is generally not an issue for our travels as the online washer/dryer app is easy to use and having it right outside the door is awesome. However the dryers were offline and this is inconvenient when you have a load of wet cloths in your arms and have to take them to the lower floor to dry after finding out that the dryers are offline. Other than that minor inconvenience the place was excellent and just as advertised.

The condo is in an amazing location and has an amazing view! Nothing beats waking up to the waves crashing onto the shore! Chris was amazing, very attentive and responded quickly to my messages.
I am definitely going to be returning and looking forward to staying here again.

The condo was great and had everything you needed to make a 2 week stay just like home, but with a great view of the ocean beach, and great sunsets looking over the bay. A great store is within walking distance and has pretty much everything you need. Chris is very attentive and easy to work with. I would recommend this condo!

Great place to stay. Views, location, furnishings..... all were as expected. Good host checked up to insure there were no problems. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. No negatives. We will stay here again.

Quiet, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated condo with amazing view of the beach/gulf. Great location within walking distance to several restaurants, bars and brewery. Really nice amenities, including games that we played on a rainy afternoon/evening. Host was responsive, and provided helpful restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay on SPI. The condo was the perfect size for our family. The owners were top notch, often times checking in to make sure everything is going ok. Property was very clean and we had no troubles at all. The view from balcony was wonderful and we took advantage of the pool and tennis court. I would surely stay hear again if we return to the island.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The location could not be better!! Several restaurants, bars & stores all within walking distance. The beach is just steps away. The condo was lovely. Spacious, very clean and comfortable. Chris was very responsive, helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!! I would absolutely stay here again.

The condo was great! We really enjoyed walking on the beach and sitting on the balcony in the morning with a good cup of coffee. It was easy to get around the island from our vantage point. There was so much to do and see! Hopefully, we will get back in the future.

This was our second stay at this condo. Love this place. It is always very clean, fresh and comfortable. Easy access to the beach. The view and sound of the waves from the balcony is awesome. Owners are very nice and helpful. Already looking forward to staying here again next year.

We were able to relax and just enjoy the view and the condo This is a great unit. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and anything you could need to make yourself at home. The keyless access is so convenient. Sunrise!

The location and ease of access to everything were superb! Would definitely recommend this condo for the space and value. The building itself is a little older, but the unit is well maintained, bright, clean, and with great furnishings. We stayed for two weeks and would happily return! Chris was an extremely responsive host!

My husband, kids (10 and 5) and I enjoyed staying at this property. Easy access to the beach, clean condo with everything you need in the kitchen, and spacious for a family of 4. Great hosts that stay connected with you to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The view of the beach is incredible, especially the sunset! We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first family vacation with our two small children. There’s a nice walk in closet that is shared with the king size bedroom that fits a pack in play perfectly to keep an infant in. It was great because we could close the barn door while baby was asleep and still be close to get baby. The AC worked great and kept us cool no issues. The property was well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed. Chris was great at communicating any needs and available if I had any questions or concerns, which we didn’t. Super easy to check in and out. We were not bothered by anyone or anything. The house of very quiet and you can’t hear other condos. We will definitely be back to Suntide!

The property was great, we felt safe and all instructions were very clear!
There were no surprises, everything was as we expected: so clean, and right on the ocean. I had forgotten just how beautiful Padre Island was - such blue water!
The only thing I would change is the mattresses / beds in the small bedroom. They were comfortable- just very noisy whenever you turned over - or moved at all.
I am happy to say, although the owner was in contact regularly, we had no issues or problems with our stay.

I am always skeptical about renting from Vrbo. This one is definitely a 5 star! From the moment I put a down payment on the condo Chris stayed in contact with me and my family. The check in process was easy, the location was perfect, and the pictures are the same as the condo. I highly recommend this condo. Thank you Chris for making me and family feel welcomed!

We stayed for 3 1/2 days and had no problems. There was nice furniture & the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed watching nature shows on the TV and had a nice porch overlooking the beach. We hope to visit again sometime soon. Also, the air conditioning kept us comfortable and the kitchen was very clean. Thanks!!

Everything was perfect! The view, the condo, the amenities, the short stroll to the beach! Chris was very hospitable and made sure we were in and had what we needed etc! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

Great communication with Chris and Lori. They checked in through out the stay. Eveything was clean and updated. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need and there were hooks everywhere to help with the towels. Being the top floor, it was nice having the vaulted ceilings. A nice home away from home and I would highly recommend.

This condo was exactly as pictured on VRBO. It was well equipped and well located on the island. You can easily walk to Blackbeards' Restaurant. We loved that you could see the Gulf from the front deck and the sunset over the bay from the kitchen window. We found Chris to be a very attentive and caring owner and would highly recommend this rental for a couple or a family.
