This is an older house but met our needs. Originally my son-in-law, daughter, and son were supposed to come with me but it wound up just being our daughter that got to come. The king sized bed was very comfortable ( I would love the mattress for my own!). The only thing I didn’t like was the parking. There isn’t a lot of room if you have two vehicles. This house is next door to Thomas donuts which was a plus! While we didn’t get donuts we did walk over one evening for ice cream and ordered a pizza another evening( best pizza ever!). It is also at the quieter end of Front Beach Road so beach isn’t as crowded and there’s less traffic.Overall a very nice place to stay.

The big yard was fun for my dog and the view and short walk to the beach were awesome. Having Thomas right next door was a treat.

This the third or fourth summer we have stayed in this fantastic home. It is always great. The location is superb!!

There were 3 generations of us and we all loved the house and area. We just walked across the street and there was the beautiful ocean. The house was roomy and comfortable. Hope to go again.

Everything was just like the description says. The sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly for our group. Would highly recommend this rental to friends/family.

Place was great and clean, location perfect, only gripe is the water system needs to be looked at as both showers hot water goes from hot to cold, then hot to cold and so on.

This is our second consecutive year staying here for a reason ! The home is very comfortable & accommodating. The back yard is spacious for our two small dogs as well. The sand & Gulf of Mexico are directly across the street. Thomas Donuts is approximately 50 feet to the left & the Carousel Grocery store is approximately 50 yards to the right. If needed Publix & Walmart are only minutes away. Also, there are soooo many restaurants nearby to even name as well a seafood market. We love this place !!!! We hope to return next year !!

This was our first trip to Panama City. We decided to come early for a wedding. House was very pleasant. Lots of comfortable seating. There were a few minor maintenance items. Ice/ water filter needs replacing. Someone removed all the batteries from the TV remotes except for the one in the den. Also downstairs shower barely drains. Bed was very comfortable. Location enabled us to be centrally located for the wedding at Carillon and the after rehearsal dinner drop-in.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was in just the right location. And we loved the front porch. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was great. The house overall was perfect for our group, except the 1st floor shower didn't have hot water. It was clean and tidy. Would love to come back and stay there again

No hot water in the front shower, and the air conditioner didn’t work on the sun porch . It also didn’t work 2 years ago when we stayed there. But we still had a wonderful time and the house is Great, we love it.

The location is great and the beach isn't very crowed. Right next to Thomas Doughnuts. But the dishwasher needs to be fixed/replaced as it still doesn't work.

The house wasn’t as clean as it could have been from the previous renters. We had to vacuum and change out the air filters on the air conditioner. The owner adjusted our rental fee

We really enjoyed Al’s home. The laidback feel was just what we needed!

The home is very spacious & accommodating. The front yard is large and fenced in with a white picket fence as shown in the listing. Walk to the edge of the front yard & across Front Bch Road & you are in the sand. Another short walk through the beautiful dunes & you are at the water's edge of the Gulf of Mexico. Thomas Donuts is only 40 or 50 feet away. You will love their donuts, burgers, hot dogs, chili cheese fries, ice cream & everything else they offer. You can literally eat breakfast, lunch, & dinner there as we did ! Approximately 100 yards in the other direction you will find the charming Carousel Super Market which has about anything you need. If you insist on Publix it is only 3.6 miles away. Furthermore, there are too many fantastic restaurants nearby to even start naming. Also, Pier Park is only 4 miles away. Such as fantastic location with so many things to do !

This home is in the perfect location. Just across the street from the beach, beside Thomas donuts which has breakfast and lunch, close to the action in PCB but not right in the middle of it, close to 30A. The home had plenty of bedrooms and living space for our group and we loved being able to travel with our dog. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a perfect (although too short) vacation.

After reading all the great reviews, we booked an 8-night stay, but we unfortunately ended up checking out four nights early. The tankless water heater wasn’t working which meant cold showers the first three nights. Unfortunately, those things just sometimes happen so we tried to be very patient. But then we discovered that several in our group were getting bug bites in the house, and in fact my wife had severe head to toe bites. We thought at first fleas, since the property allows pets and the bedrooms have carpet. But we are not experts and cannot be certain the source. The owner was apologetic and indicated he’d contact a pest control company after we departed. He also provided a refund of 6 of our 8 nights which was appreciated. Overall the property has a great location which is its best feature. This is our 10th VRBO booking this year and it’s the first issue we’ve had at any property. Perhaps this stay was just an outlier circumstance and bad luck. We wish the owner best of luck with the property going forward.

We love this house. We have stayed here before as a family and will come back again. It is right across the street from the beach making it very easy to come and go and the view is beautiful. The house is very cozy and comfortable for my family and our dogs.

We loved our stay! Older beach house gives the original beach vacation vibes. A little dated but house was clean and loaded with anything you could possibly need for a a trip to the beach. Fenced in yard was a dream for our pup! Great location! Perfect house for a large family, with beach access directly across the street.

This was our first time staying on this end of PCB and we loved it! Having the beach access directly across the street and no obstructed view was amazing! The fenced front yard with grass was an added bonus especially for our 4 legged child. The home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not be right on top of each other. Anything you could possibly need for cooking is there which is wonderful! The only thing that was a little stressful was once you book rental and make final payment you receive a very lengthy message of everything you must do upon departure. Which most of the items were things we always do like washing dishes, taking trash out no biggie but with this one you are also asked to wash all towels and linens. This I found a little stressful just because checkout is 10 am so I had to get everyone up and start stripping beds and washing extremely early. But given the location and amenities we would definitely stay here again! Next time I’ll just bring our own linens to save time on washing😊

The location of the house can’t be beat. It was so nice being directly across from the beach access. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need. My only real issue was that there did not appear to be fire alarms in the bedrooms, which is an issue when you have your small child sleeping alone in a room with door closed. Overall, we had a great trip and we would stay again. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Paz Del Mar! It was so nice being across the street from the beach and being able to bring our fur babies was a plus! Front beach road is very busy though, so we had a lot of traffic noise, but the yard was fenced so we felt safe with our kids and dogs playing. It would have been nice to know that the dishwasher was broken before staying though.

We would definitely stay again. The proximity to the beach was key for us. The house is spacious with plenty of room to relax after the beach. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything. Plenty of towels and linens provided.

Perfect location. Two doors down from Thomas 🍩, 1 block away from a grocery store, across the street from the beach, and walking distance to Alvin's. Home was cozy. Enjoyed the sunset from the front yard. Plenty of sitting inside to watch TV or eat in the kitchen/dining room. One down fall is the dishwasher does not work. Tried to call one of the numbers that was given, left a message, and no returned call back. If we came back to Panama City Beach, this would be my first choice. Thank you for allowing my family to stay in your home. You have a lovely home!!!

We had a wonderful time at Paz de Mar. it was just like being at home. We didn’t need anything; just our own beach towels and groceries. And groceries were just down the road. A little closer to “home”...fresh donuts!!! We’ve usually stay “beachfront” on our Florida vacations, but this warm house just across the street-with NO obstructed views-was very nice. You really could bring 10 people and stay here...and everyone would be comfortable. There are plenty of places to spread out comfortably and be lazy. The glassed-in sunroom with those fabulous folding blinds was delightful. The front porch outside is great for catching late afternoon breezes and people watching. Now even though we were there close to Memorial Day, we never felt crowded or surrounded. It’s a settled area, great neighbors. The beds are comfortable. The home decor cozy and friendly. The a/c worked just right. For laundry, the washer and drier are top-notch. There’s even a weight scale in the bathroom! There was just great peace and comfort here. Everyone in our family needed a break, needed to just “chill”....mission accomplished. Thanks to our hosts for opening their HOME up to us!

Simply put, you cannot beat the location of this property - directly across from the beach and 2 doors down from Thomas Donuts. As others have indicated, the house is an older home and so would likely benefit from some repairs and upgrades. In a similar vein, the house could use a deep cleaning and/or purge of some of the clutter - I don't say this to imply the house wasn't acceptable, just that it would likely make the home feel more open, as well as make it easier on the housekeeper. Something I would like to share in the case this is a factor to a potential traveler, as it often is of significance to us when we travel. While not stated in the listing, there were additional terms shared via message a couple of days before the beginning of our trip that would have been a factor - namely, that there is an expectation that you clean the house before departure (including washing all towels, washing all dishes, washing all used bedding, emptying all trash, and wiping down all counters/surfaces), which is generally something I would prefer to pay for by way of additional cleaning fees vs spending a significant amount of vacation time cleaning. Of course, this isn't a dealbreaker for many - just something nice to know ahead of time in case it is a factor for the traveler. The house was very spacious - so much so, that we simply shut off all of the rooms aside from master bedroom so that we wouldn't dirty them since it was just my wife and I :) The fenced in front yard was very nice and we very much enjoyed lounging in it with our pooches - we likely spent the majority of our time out there, so that we could enjoy the sun and the people watching. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property to someone looking for a no-frills, easy getaway. The owner/manager and various contacts that were provided were very friendly and helpful in our interactions. Again, when it comes to location you really can't ask for much more - and so when considering the cost for an entire house, I feel that this property is an exceptional value.

This house is perfect for the family or a group of friends that wants to stay on the beach but away from the noise of the high rises or a busy 30a. It's a perfect house if you want to be near the beach without paying on the beach prices.
