The property was amazing and the hosts were super accommodating! Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

It was very quiet and relaxing. We did some exploring of the area. Hope to return in warmer weather.

The Cabin was not what we were expecting.It was better Very clean and had everything you needed. We will be back for sure and try the other cabins that they have to offer.

A great place to stay. Wonderful property. Location is right in the middle of all the great Hocking Hills Hikes and Adventures. Nice, clean, house to stay in, and the kids love the basement. Can't wait to stay again next year.

My friends and I do an annual cabin trip in hocking and we stay in a different cabin each time. This one was just okay. Here’s why: Positives: Great layout/amount of space Covered outdoor areas They made an effort with the decor The fireplace inside is amazing and there is wood stocked on the porch Negatives: The idea of the amenities (pool table, hot tub, washer and dryer etc) is nice but these are not in good shape/fully operational. There is no dishwasher and you are given one washcloth for the dishes. Bring a sponge and some dish soap. This was also probably the least stocked rental I have ever been to, in terms of cookware, random kitchen goods, and cleaning supplies. There were a few (live) wasps inside the house :( In order to use the stocked wood, you need to pay with exact cash or check only. Don’t even bother with the tvs. Ancient Blu-ray players that barely connect to the internet (you have to try about 8x to play something on Netflix) and the TVs are so old you probably can’t even bring a Roku/etc to plug in. Overall, I’d say this cabin either needs its amenities and supplies upgraded or the prices should be lowered. It was not a bad stay at all, just not valued correctly.

This was our second time staying in this cabin and it was just as wonderful as the first. Beautifully decorated for the holiday, hot tub was fabulous, and had so much fun in the game room! Definitely recommend

Everything was incredible! Bring a fire stick or Roku- the tv and apps are not great. Will stay here again!

Loved the property.

Overall, I’d stay at this property again in a heartbeat because it was clean, comfortable and convenient however I agree with a previous guest who said communication was passive aggressive with the host. Additionally, the check in email and information was sent a month in advance with no additional follow up the week/day of/before the stay so things get lost. The place advertises sleeping 18 people and while true there are PLENTY of beds for 18 people to sleep 2 per bed, the bathroom situation would be tough with 18 people! 9 adults was a perfect amount though. At the end of the day, I’d hands down recommend this for a big group!

Great little place tucked away in the woods. Lots of space and everything was great! We enjoyed the stay. Last people must have left the door open or something because there were a large number of flys in the house for being so cold but that’s ok, it’s the woods after all. Wish we had better weather to enjoy the cool outdoor areas of the house.

This is the three bedroom three bathroom pool table air hockey hot tub beautiful kitchen very nice living room Upper Deck for viewing off the master bedroom in the loft lower deck has a charcoal grill hot tub table and six chairs very spacious not to mention the fire rang out back with 10 chairs very comfortable chairs not Adirondack chairs this property is secluded well enough that you are peacefully on your own I would not hesitate ever stay in here we will be back just would make a great place to have Thanksgiving dinner with the family

We loved the cabin and location. So secluded. The cabin was not clean though and we cleaned it better before we left. We did not leave a tip for the housekeeping.

The cabin was beautiful and even better in person than in pictures. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room.

Aspen Retreat is tucked away in a private woods. It’s peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is clean with all of the photos showing exactly what the cabin looks like inside and out. The owner is very responsive to any questions or needs. We highly recommend staying here.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Aspen Retreat Lodge. We enjoyed the wooded privacy it provided while still only being a 30 minute drive to many of the hikes we did in as family in Hocking Hills (i.e. Upper/Lower Falls, Old Man's Cave, Rockhouse and Cedar Falls). The cabin was so nice and clean providing all the amenities we could have asked for. We utilized the outdoor fire pit and picnic table, the indoor fireplace, the gaming room on the lower level, and the patio table on the main floor deck. The kids loved the hot tub! Beds were super comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and all agreed that we could have stayed more. We hope to be back again.

My husband & myself with another couple did our 3rd annual birthday stay, pool game match. Everything about the cabin was awesome! Really enjoyed ourselves, played pool. Kitchen was well stocked, deck & hot tub were great! Loved our stay immensely!!! Would stay here again!!!!!

Cozy, Clean, Comfortable. Loved our stay at the Aspen Resort in Tranquil Hills near Logan, Ohio. We were in the area for hiking, cycling, and ziplining. This home was a great place for all: only about 30 minutes SW to Hocking Hills Hiking on the trails, about 15 minutes S to Nestorville for cycling on the Hock Hocking Adena Bikeway, and about 20 minutes N to the Canopy Hocking Zipline Tours. The home is set up nicely. Open floor plan: Kitchen, Dining, Livingroom. Open bedroom loft upstairs with bath having a large tub. Main floor has an additional bedroom with bathroom across the hall. In the basement is the third bedroom with bathroom having a shower/tub combination. We loved the pool table in the basement recreation room as well. Hot tub is hot and readily available on back deck. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had ample towels, and beds were comfortable. A great place to stay while in the Hocking Hills area!

We planned a Hocking Hills vacation during the week to hopefully have the trails less crowded - which worked out great! When we arrived at the cabin, it was clean and fully stocked and ready for our use! The kids (age 11-22) were super pumped about the game tables and hot tub. We utilized the grill, fire pit, game tables, and dvd player after long days on the trails or horseback riding. This cabin was centrally located to everything and not hard to find. Our family has already decided we want to go back to this exact cabin again!

We had a great time at this cabin in the woods. From the big kitchen, to the game room and deck with a hot tub, it was a great place to stay.

Power went out around 2am Thursday night. Was not back on when we left 9am Friday morning.
