Staff were amazing. Value for money was very good. Very clean.
Quite far from the beach. Only takes cash payment. Showers were awful.

Loved the staff and the kitchen facilities. The roof top terrace offered great opportunities to mingle with fellow travels and had great views of the sunrise and sunsets.
The shower was really small and had a leaky shower head that had bad water pressure. I also hated the squeaky door handles on the dorm and bathroom doors. It made being quiet hard during early and late hours of the day.

A clean and nice hostel with a good location. Good WIFI. Walking distance to the beach and the bus stop (for taking the bus to Taormina or to the airport). Helpful staff.
There were no AC in the room, which made it very hot during the night (it was around 32 degrees when I was there). However, the fan worked pretty well.
Not a very social hostel, so not the best place if you want to meet other travelers and socialize.

Shared kitchen with good facilities and a shared lounge area with seating. The roof terrace was also very nice especially to watch the sunset.

There is a classical guitar that you can play. Air conditioning in the rooms.

Girls that work there were very helpful as well as the owner of the hostel.
The tour on Etna. The tour was planned for 8 am. After waiting for 30min I get news that the guide has moved the tour for 9am. I was waiting till 10am. Accordingly, there was some issue with the vehicle.
The breaks were longer than necessary... The tour itself was quite nice, overpriced if you ask me, but I was disappointed that we didn't see lava (Etna had it in this period), also when have finished around 5:30pm, instead of planned 2pm. This had impact on the plans I had for that evening.

Favorite hostel I have ever stayed at! Lovely staff, rooftop, terrace to room and lovely guests staying. Will definitely return next year

The price was a bit too high for a hostel (33/night), laundry cost 5e which is also a lot...

Even if it’s mid-august...
For that price you expect at least to have the breakfast included!
