Beautiful villa & amazing pool. Very peaceful but only short taxi ride to airport, beach, Lassi & Argostoli. A perfect base to explore the island.

We loved everything, only criticism could do with a mirror in each bedroom as very difficult only having bathroom mirror.

Quiet location despite being so near airport, didn’t hear planes, On 3 levels with 3 bathrooms so ideal for our 4 generations Barbecue/outdoor area to eat altogether The pool was lovely Well equipped with 2 large fridge freezers, dish washer, washing machine Short drive to airport and best beaches and Argostoli Kindness of host

Nothing to dislike except furnishings a bit basic. Need a car. Situated on a narrow lane but then onto main road so not easy to safely walk to any shops or tavernas

Decoration can be improved and be more charming

We (2 families, 9 people in total) have been in Villa Elpidia for a very pleasant vacation in August, visiting every day a different beach on the island. In the first day we found a few things missing, but very quickly Angela reacted to all of our requests making our holydays time really perfect. Particulary we appreciated the double refrigerators, which allowed us to keep a lot of food and beverage always fresh. We had only some troubles with the internet wifi connection, which was often unstable, especially when all the people tried to connect at the same time.

The Villa is a few minutes drive from Lassi, you could use a bus but a car would be easier, there is private parking for 2 cars and an electronic gate. The Villa is laid out well with 2 double bedrooms on the top floor with 2 separate balcony's and a shared bathroom (this has a washing machine in too) The middle floor (which you enter onto) has 1 double bedroom with balcony, a bathroom and an open kitchen dinner plus a small seating area. The lower ground floor has a kitchenette, bathroom, 1 double room and 1 twin room. this floor opens on to a lower outdoor seating area which has a BBQ, from here you can go up a few steps to the pool area. It is not a large pool but big enough. All bedrooms have air-conditioning units and smart tv's, there is also wifi included. Housekeeping do come every 3-4 days to refresh sheets and towels. It was lovely to hear the goats bells in the morning (not too early) and again in the evening as there are some kept across the road.

Sadly the layout of the building means there are no windows in the lower floor bathroom or twin bedroom making them dark. There was no kettle in the downstairs kitchenette - there was an extra fridge on a plus. We did have a few insects join us but after a message to Angela - housekeeping came in that evening and removed most of them. No sea view unless on the top balcony and then in the distance. Close to quarry and can hear road noise by the pool. (not overlooked)

There is no better place to stay in Kefalonia for a big company! We had a wonderful time in the house, enjoying the pool, the terraces, clean and sweet rooms and a superb barbecue. Everyting here is made for your comfort and relax. The locations is good - really close to the airport, so you can observe planes departure or arriving just from a nearby hill, though there is no walking distance to the beach (it takes 5 min by a car). The stuff is very kind! Thanks a lot to Angela for nice welcoming and recomendations about beaches and places to go out.
