Nice woodsy cabin. Lots of amenities. Clean. Everything works. Well stocked.

This cabin was the perfect end-of-summer beach getaway for my family of 5, and Nic was a wonderful host. The beach was a bit of a hike for the littlest, but we had a wonderful time down on Cherry and Harbert beaches and the kids were in the pool (which was very well maintianed) every day of our stay. The cabin is beautiful and had all the little amenities that make a stay seamless - from kitchen utensils to board games. We would absolutely stay again.

Pretty with a rustic interior in a very functional, clean home. Easy walking distance to the beach. Kitchen is very user friendly with extra dining space on the porch. We had extended family over for a meal and it worked well. The cool temperature pool water was a nice treat after the hot beach. Definitely would recommend it and hope to be able to return.

Spent the weekend at this cottage, host is more than accommodating. He went above and beyond. If I find myself staying in the area again I will look to see if this cottage is available first.

This is the 3rd Summer in a row that we have spent time at Harbert Living. Our kids love the beaches, Captain Mike's fun park, the ice-cream shops, and the on-site swimming pool. The location is great; close to all of it. My wife and I also love the on-site pool and the back deck. There are some pretty good restaurants in the area, but we also enjoy having friends over to cook out on the deck with the gas grill, then have a fire in the fire pit, while the kids swim in the pool or play in the yard. The house is cozy and perfect for our family of 4. Nic (property manager) is very friendly and makes sure everything is in order for our stay. We plan to come back next summer.

We were not only excited about finally getting warm beach weather but finding a hpuse to accommodate us and it came with a pool! Everything was comfortable. We beached all day, sawm a little after then watched a few movies snuggling with the kids. Super excited i cooked each meal so that saved us $ as well as a fight with the kids over where we can eat and cant because they are still in the picky phase, 7 and 8. We brought our bikes and took shoet rides and the beach was just a 5 min walk away. I'd suggest bringing wagon for beach stuff otherwise we just hung the stuff on the handle bars as we walked 1 bike. Nick was awesome to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will stay again

Beautiful beach, comfortable beds. Even my teenagers loved it!

Great location

This cozy beach cottage was within walking distance to a beach, a bakery and shops. We chose the location because it had 4 twin beds for our teenagers. We would choose it again because of the great host who was responsive to everything we needed during our stay. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals. Beds were great and it was very clean. And wonderful outdoor seating and grill. Thanks, Nic, for making our stay so relaxing.

This house provided a good experience overall. The place feels cozy and is covered in wood everywhere for a cabin feel. The bathroom had a skylight which made it really bright in there. Most kitchen tools you’d need for a short stay are provided. Wood was even provided for the fire pit! The pool was nice to have (a little chilly but that’s because of the weather). Owner came daily to clean the pool— my only wish is that it was outlined in the listing that he’d be doing so; it caught me off guard. Also, I would recommend bringing your own pillow.

There are so many great things to say about this place. First of all, Nick, the owner, is very good at communicating. He checked in with me before arrival, after arrival, and multiple times during our stay. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but it felt good to know if we did that Nick would've been there in a moments notice to help. The pool is a definite plus. We swam in it multiple times during our stay. It is a little chilly, but it was never an issue. We even swam in it around 7 and 8 at night. This was a major reason we picked this place. It is not easy to find a place with your own pool and that was what my kids wanted. The beach down the road called Cherry Beach was also very nice. It had calm waters, soft sand, and not a lot of people. We also went to the Warren Dunes one day which was only 10 minutes away and that was fun too. There were more waves at that beach, concessions, and a chance to climb the dunes. Both days we came home from the beach and then swam in the pool. Then at night we enjoyed the fire pit and made smores and listened to music. The house was very clean upon arrival and the temperature even on the hot days was very comfortable. The look of the cottage is very cute. It feels like you're staying in a log cabin. I stayed with my husband and two daughters (ages 3 and 7). My mother in law also stayed some of the days and there was more than enough room as long as one person doesn't take forever in the bathroom.

Very nice home on Red Arrow Highway. Fall colors in peak. Great weekend with my boys. Would love to stay there again!

This was our 2nd year staying at this location. We really like the house, particularly the back deck and pool. Nic is very nice and quick to respond. The house is close to Warren Dunes, Captain Mike's Fun Park, and lots of nice smaller beaches. Also not too far from Silver Beach. Some good places to eat nearby. We plan on going back next summer.

Nic, We had a super enjoyable time at your house. The kids loved the pool and I loved the 10 minute walk to the beach. We went to the Warren Dunes which was only a 9 minute drive. We enjoyed swimming at the beach during the day and we walked down to see the sunsets at night. I even did some night swimming one night. Our stay was wonderful. Too short but it was a great time! Can't say enough about the perfect accommodations and location. Nic, thanks again for everything!!

We are a family of 4 and chose to stay in this area for a mini vacation. The house is as described, clean, and has a wonderful outside living area. The beach is very close to go enjoy as well. Nic is a great host who checked on us to make sure we were highly satisfied with everything (we were). Would recommend staying here.

We stayed at Nick’s house for our family reunion. This house is perfect for 6 people and has what you need to make breakfast and dinner. The Wi-Fi and smart TVs kept our younger adults satisfied.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! The home was comfortable and clean, the beds were cozy and Tv was easy to figure out. There were plenty of towels and cooking utensils for a home cooked meal. The pool was amazing and Nic came and vacuumed the bottom for us one day. My kids were in the pool as soon as they woke up and after the beach! The beach was a ten minute walk down the street and it was beautiful. Memories to be cherished!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. First time visiting Lake Michigan and it's absolutely beautiful. The house is a perfect location between things to do and the public beach access at the end of the road. The house has a great set up and Nic is easy to get in touch with. Definitely recommend this location to anyone!

Had a great stay. Worked out well for my family.

Our first night, the air was out (in the middle of August) - the owner was working so he didn’t have time to fix until the following day. The pool was dirty and wasn’t cleaned until the following day also. The grill ran out of gas in the middle of us grilling. The shower curtain is orange moldy. We asked for 15 minutes extra to check out, which was granted but the cleaning crew arrived while we were there still. They did not change the bedsheets in two rooms, only straightened out the comforters. They only changed the sheets on the 3rd bedroom because the comforters were removed. It was obvious that all rooms were used yet they didn’t change the sheets.. disgusting!! There were dusts all over too. We’re not coming back.

It was in a great location for excellent and varied restaurants, antique stores, and the beach. The house and patio were clean and relaxing. Fun times were experienced around the dining room table.

Our family (3 kids, 2 adults) fit perfectly! Everyone had their own place to sleep and the kitchen/deck/dining area were good size. The kids loved swimming in the pool and running around the yard. Short drive to the beach and dunes. Only negative was decor items that I was worried our kids would break. We moved a few things out of reach and it wasn’t a huge deal, but definitely something to be aware of if you have young children.

Everything was exactly as advertised. Homeowner was easy to get a hold of via text or call. Solid experience.

Our family enjoyed staying here! The house was clean and well outfitted for a family stay (though we did have to move some knickknacks so my 1-year-old wouldn't get into them!). I especially appreciated that the house was stocked with nice pots and pans, since we did some of our own cooking. We loved sitting out by the fire pit, and appreciated that firewood was readily available as well. I would stay again!

This is a great spot!

Great place to spend a sisters birthday weekend! The place was very clean and comfortable. It's well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with tall trees making a lovely walk to the beach (less than a mile). The house is right on the Red Arrow highway which is convenient but a little noisy at times. Nic is friendly, responsive and helpful. With a large deck and yard, its a great place for families and outdoor activities.

Nic is a fabulous host. He quickly answered emails and gave tips on where to visit. The kitchen had everything we needed. We highly recommend his property for your visit.
