great place to stay in Santa Marta. we received such a warm welcome - wonderful walk through of what was in town and how to explore, really nice room - and they even went above and beyond when we wanted a place to hang clothes to dry. good breakfast and just so super friendly

An unassuming but charming lodging. Very well located and managed. Delightful host who could not have been more helpful. Beautiful walks in locality.

nearness to coast

It was close to the railway station and the inlet. It was clean and the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and recommended a good place to eat. Lest too early for breakfast but a lady in the kitchen gave us 2 bottles of juice for no extra charge.

The beds...we are not fond of foam type mattresses

Vendeval was located very central in the town. The accommodation is very modern and the shower was the best ever... it gave me a devent massage after my cycle . When i arrived, they even offered me a place to store my bicycle . The breakfast is well.organised where a lady brings everything to the table, all was there....

It was a great overnight stop while walking the Ruta do Mar with my group. All our rooms were extremely clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

Great place run by two sisters. They were both super friendly and provided us with lots of information about all the things to do in the surrounding area. They’d adapted the breakfast for COVID-times (table service rather than presumably a buffet) but were very keen to make sure this didn’t mean we ate less!! Room was large and very clean and comfortable.

The property was not identified as a Hostel and presumed to be an Hotel. Difficult to find and no parking at the premises. Local restaurants were not suitable and one was not clean.

What a marvelous place. We decided to upgrade to a larger room which was just wonderful. It has a large patio area and a view of the mountains and the sea. The room was so comfortable and quiet. The hotel is less than a 20 min walk from the FEVE train station and so close to the sea the bars and shops. In particular I'd like acknowledge our fabulous host who allowed us to check in early and made us so very welcome.
