We had a great stay and were happy with the condo! We truly enjoyed sitting on our balcony (6th floor), taking in the views and beach scenery. Sunsets were spectacular too (depending on weather). The condo and building complex are well equipped and maintained. We recommend this condo overall! Check if below issues are ok for you - these didn‘t keep us from having a great time. We got good value for the price paid (compared to similar nearby - overall prices have risen!). You step right on the beach and you get magnificent views - here, you are paying for this priviledge and not for fancy interiors! Location is good, however it did get busy in April on the beach adjacent to our stretch due to the Archibald Beach Park access (public access). The beach in front of our building never got busy. Pros: - splendid views from the balcony (with daily dolphin sightings) - well equipped kitchen with plenty of room. - Master bedroom with gulf views - easy parking - easy bulding access (no key - only need keycode) - Washing machine / dryer (but no rack to hang clothes) - pool and spa - Publix in walking distance, walmart a few minutes driving distance - John‘s Pass not far (walk 2 Miles or talk trolley) Cons: - The second bedrom is facing the roadside. Windows are so thin we first thought they were open behind the blinds (they weren‘t). Noise from street and the bars across the street is heard well and can be rather loud. If whoever sleeps there is noise sensitive that will be an issue (late evening hours) - our kids slept well. These windows should be replaced with solid ones to fix that issue. - Cleanliness: If you plan on walking around the house and balcony with shoes at all times, you‘re good. If not, you will get very dirty/ black soles on your feet. Especially the balcony floor does not seem to get cleaned ever. The master bedroom has a carpet that is not welcoming. Aside from these, cleanliness was good. We had known about these issues from previous reviews but didn‘t expect them to be that big. It didn‘t keep us from having a great time! If the price is right - compare with similar condos to get a feeling - we would definitely come again. Yes, it is dated - but since we weren‘t looking at buying, we didn‘t want to pay lots more to get a modern style one. More reviews on google maps. ..yes, management has a rough touch, but with 1 interaction in 2 weeks I can‘t see how you would give a 1-star-review overall. Recommended!

Most appliances worked very well but garbage disposal switch sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. The dishwasher makes some very unusual sounds but is still working. I told iTrip Vacations that the owner should be notified that the carpets are very dirty. I had to wash my feet before going to bed because the bottoms of my feet were black with dirt. The cable box doesn’t connect correctly in the living room. The “guest” bathroom faucet drips so they are losing a lot of water. Some of the vertical blinds in the living room fall off when you pulled them closed. Other than these issues it a very beautiful condo and location!

Absolutely the cleanest and nicest pool in the area. We have stayed at dozens of locations on the beach in this area and the pool and grounds at the Ocean Sands are by far the best around.

As described. A few more dishes/utensils in the kitchen would be the only complaint. Otherwise an excellent condo, steps to the beach, great views, roomy unit, underground parking a huge plus!

Beautiful view from the condo! Beach is well kept. House was beautiful and clean Had some problems with ac unit, but they promptly fixed it. Elevators also gave me some trouble. Thankfully we were only stuck in it for a few mins. Great location! Will be returning again at some point!

Would you be willing to accept a poorly maintained, unclean condo to get a stunning view and excellent beach? The owner of this unit might be betting that you will because that’s exactly the unexpected position we found ourselves in. Yes, we reported several repairs that needed immediate attention, but we also decided to clean the condo ourselves, as best we could, so that the relaxing and enjoying part of our vacation could begin quickly. Short-term rental reviews should be fair and honest. Potential renters depend on them to make an educated decision for their lodging needs. Here is my best effort to write such a review. The Pros 1) Beachfront view – It doesn’t get any better than this one, 2) Well-maintained beach right off the garage with easy, one gate access, 3) Fabulous location – Walk to pharmacy, grocery store, bars and restaurants, 4) Kitchen stocked with all appliances, dinnerware and utensils you’ll need, 5) Good shower pressure, firm mattresses and effective air conditioning system, 6) Quick and friendly response from Brandon (property guy) and Christian (maintenance guy), 7) Nice shared property pool, spa and BBQ area The Cons 1) Broken lock on balcony sliding glass door (Unit is on the 6th floor, but we 2 women didn’t feel safe), 2) Closet door in 2nd bedroom was off its track and leaning against the wall, 3) Shower curtains in both bathrooms were ringed with black mold, 4) Carpeting in both bedrooms was dirty and badly stained, 5) Dust clumps throughout the unit as big as your hand and as dense as cotton balls, 6) Oven coated with grease on the sides and pooled in the bottom, thick as syrup, 7) Several blown out light bulbs throughout the unit, 8) Noise level from building patio area, bars across the street and the main road was at times too much So, did we enjoy our vacation while staying in this unit? Absolutely! But I think this outcome says more about our adaptability than the quality of the condo.

This property has the perfect view for sunset. Beach access was great and amenities were lovely.

My family & I loved the condo. Very spacious. We had a great time. Great location. Management was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

I usually stay farther down the coast. But lived it here. If you like to go to sleep with the sound of waves, this is your place. Lounged at the pool mostly. Older adults mostly and all were so friendly and welcoming. Given the virus issues, we still had a wonderful time.

If location is your priority, this place was wonderful; sixth floor overlooking pool and spa while watching sunsets over the Gulf and beach. Patio furniture great; sofa old, worn and uncomfortable. MBr sliding door to patio nice. Owner not helpful with entry information; used current visitor and emergency phone to contactmaintenance.

Property was all that we expected. Really enjoined using the bus lines to visit Clearwater and St. Pete. Chihuly, Dali, and Holocaust Museums. Great restaurants and utilized delivery of food staples from Publix. Stayed two weeks and now will never be satisfied with anything less.

Spent two weeks. Beautiful views of the Gulf! Watched dolphins swimming from the balcony. Took walks every morning on miles-long Beach. Condo well-equipped and tile floors were shining clean! Great pool area. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery store, drug store, and ice cream. We walked down the beach to the shops at John's Pass several times. Highly recommended!

Condo was great. Well appointed and comfortable. Best part was the view! Right on the beach, beautiful sunset every night.

On vacation from UK my wife and I stayed here with our two teenage children for a week at the end of July 2018. On arrival easy parking for our rental vehicle and the apartment was a delight! Very clean and very large rooms which were well furnished. The view from the main bedroom and the balcony was picture perfect and the balcony is huge. The kitchen had everything we needed, although us English people really miss having a kettle for our tea! The aircon worked really well but was a bit noisy if you need it when sleeping, which we didn't as we just use the ceiling fans at night which were really good and kept us cool. The beach and pool are fabulous, the owners also provide beach towels and chairs and an umbrella. Overall the whole of Madeira Beach was lovely with a good supermarket very nearby. It was a delight to sit on the balcony in the morning with breakfast watching dolphins swimming in the sea. The beach never got too crowded and the sea was safe and really warm. Very easy to walk straight into the pool area after the beach. We used our car to drive the short distance to Johns Pass frequently but you could use the bus also. I can't fault the apartment or the location and we would not hesitate to book this apartment again. A fantastic part of our holiday.

The location was great. The pool was lovely. The condo was not clean; for example, the rim of the toilet is black. The rug in the living room was disgusting. The coach is very uncomfortable. The tv in the living room broke and was not fixed by the time we left. I would rent in this building again, but not this condo.

Great convenience local grocery stores close by. Condo had all the amenities needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation stay. Sort distance to John's Pass a favorite with Tourists. Condo was well appointed and tastefully decorated. Would recommend this Condo highly for a family getaway and a great vacation.

We stayed at Ocean Sands 2-602 and couldn't have asked for a better condo unit. We stayed at the Ocean Sands the previous year and we are definitely coming back in February 2019 to the same unit. I-trip is an excellent company to deal with we had a minor problem with the sliding door to the balcony and it was taken care of the same day we called maintenance. The Unit is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc., all small appliances that you would need, TV in living area was great. The ocean view from the balcony was fabulous and we had great record breaking temperatures while we were there. Many grocery stores and restaurants nearby and don't really need a car to get around. Would definitely recommend Ocean Sands Condo to my friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this unit. All I can say is it exceeded every expectation. I brought my daughter & grand daughter down to visit with my parents as I do every couple of months. I always stay in the Madeira Beach / Treasure Island area due to the family friendly nature. And once again I was not disappointed. If anyone is ever considering the area for a family vacation I cant stress enough how perfect the area is. I have been coming to this part of the beach for many years. Now about the the unit? Better than the pictures appear. I found the unit to be very clean, very well appointed, very well maintained, and about the third day in we discovered the treasure trove of beach goodies the owners leave for the tenants (We even left a couple of items we purchased to add to the assortment). Overall the unit was exceptional at all points. Having my two favorite girls down for a week of down time this place is perfect. The view of the beach is prob the second best I have ever had The layout of the unit is perfect The patio is plenty big enough for any family The unit & grounds were very clean I really couldn't find any flaws with the unit or the facility if I tried. Again I have stayed at many different places along the beach and I intend to make this place my new home base. If there was anything that could use any attention it would be the wireless internet. It seemed to lag quite a bit at first and even the provided Netflix account would get kicked out after a few minutes the first day or so. But after I reset the router (per the instructions I received in the welcome letter) it seemed better for the duration of the stay. So to recap I would recommend this unit for any family vacation your considering. It was better than advertised in every way!

This place had everything we needed. For such a huge complex, it was very quiet and not crowded. Beach never seemed crowded either. Plenty of room for everyone. We always founds chairs at the pool. Plenty of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas & coolers in the condo. Loved the assigned covered parking spot for rainy days. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. The condo was also so much bigger than it looks in the picture. Also, the deck is huge! Loved that security codes were needed for access. We felt very safe. We were pleasantly surprised.

It was a very nice condo, the poon was not crowded because a lot of people reside there, we never had a problem finding a chair. The sunsets were wonderful,we had a blast!!! The only thing was a new couch was needed the old one is worn out. Would love to come back again, Thanks the Schaffers

I can't begin to say how delighted we were when we arrived to see such a beautiful, spacious and comfortable condo. And what a Hugh balcony. Needless to say it offered the best views possible. The unit was very tastefully decorated and made us feel at home.

We always love staying at Ocean Sands. This was our third time at this complex. We love walking to get grocerys or to the restaurants. We basically only use our rental car to drive to various golf courses. We had two minor issues upon arrival and iTrip took care of them immediately. Good trip!

22 days in paradise. Perfect location. Not around the crowded area of Madeira Beach. It is next door to a public beach, however there where times when we felt that we had our own private beach. Staff was very helpful. Our AC unit stopped working and the staff was very prompt in responding. The condo is very well equipped with everything you need including a small charcoal grill on the balcony, beach toys, surf boards and beach towels. Thank you, itrip for this wonderful vacation.

Positives: - great location walkable to lots of good restaurants, bars, drug store, groceries, etc. - master bedroom bed is extremely comfortable, with excellent ensuite shower. - view and balcony are exceptional with nice furniture including chaise loungers and table, chairs. - Service from ITrip was outstanding. Branden especially helpful and fast to respond to minor maintenance issues. Liz and crew are always very helpful. Negatives: - Dishes, cutlery pots & pans need to be replaced. - Televisions need to be updated. - No working umbrellas for the beach. - Vacuum cleaner is useless. - Second bath showered and hot and cold function not working properly. -
