Quiet bedroom with comfy bed. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
So many steps and stairs. This hotel is no good for people with reduced mobility. There is no car parking nearby nor could there be because the narrow streets inside the walls make parking near the hotel impossible.

The location. Included breakfast was good.
Hot room with locked window that couldn't be opened for fresh air. City view was of the roof of the next building. The body soap dispenser in the shower didn't work or was empty. Had to go to the reception desk 3 times before getting anyone to answer. Worst accommodation experienced in travels through Spain/Portugal. Make sure you read all that is included before booking.

The views and the location
The town of Obidos is beautiful and the hotel is centrally located with nice views of the castle. It is an old house and I recognize the effort to preserve it with many original touches. Breakfast was normal.
The bathroom has dampness and the walls were a bit stained.
Repainting would be nice.

A cama era confortável
Nas fotografias o quarto aparentava ser maior, sendo que o lavatório era super pequeno, e localizado no quarto em vez de na casa de banho. A porta da casa de banho não dava para fechar por estar empenada. A colcha estava suja. Segundo a reserva tinhamos direito a cozinha partilhada, a qual nem existia. O pequeno almoço estava frio.

Por causa de uma confusão do booking não fiquei neste alojamento, eles reencaminharam-nos para outro alojamento com as mesmas condições. O que não gostei foi de só me terem alertado às 21:00h do dia anterior, sem me darem hipótese de poder cancelar a estadia gratuitamente e poder escolher outro sitio sem perder o meu dinheiro, porque de certo que eles sabiam mais cedo que não teriam o quarto disponível para as datas previstas mas preferiram não me dar a opção de escolha de ficar ou escolher outro alojamento

Lovely hotel within walls of old town. Welcome cherry liquor drink was a surprise. Great breakfast with eggs and bacon. Modern decor and comfortable bed. Communal lounge room with books to read.
Very small room and bathroom with tiny hand basin. No towel rails or clothes storage.

Prachtige locatie midden in het dorpje. We hadden vanuit onze kamer een mooi uitzicht op de stadsmuren. De kamer en het ontbijt was goed.
De wasbak is te klein, was wat onhandig.

Welcoming staff, comfy room and lovely breakfast. Hotel is in an excellent location.
A couple of small details like the toilet seat didn't fit properly and the shower head wasn't connected well - certainly nothing to spoil a holiday, just minor niggles.

They need to be absolutely clear on arrival that parking is not available within the walls. We wasted to much time on trying to find a way of getting the car inside and then park.
We parked outside the walls and was ok.

I don't think this is a great value for money. It's double the price of the hostel and the experience is not really any better.

Spectacular location in a medieval town. Our room had wonderful views of the castle. Smart modern furnishings and a good shared kitchen for use of guests.

Great location within town walls. Super clean. Room was good size and had nice lounge. kitchen had a few pots, fridge, kettle—everything you need for light cooking—no tea or coffee. Toilet stalls were small but very clean. Good hot water for showers (and heat in the rooms!) Staff was super nice and super helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Toilets are cramped but other than that excellent.

Super cute place that was spotless with nice bathrooms and kitchens for guests to use. Breakfast is at sister hotel 10 feet away and was delicious. Reception staff were great.

Very clean and perfect location. The receptionist Karla was exceptional. Her knowledge of the community as well as the surrounding area was extremely beneficial.

Location was great, size of room was very good. It was clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice.
The bathroom was small and the shower head too high. It was also very dark.
We were misinformed about the parking situation. We should have been given better instructions...like do not drive inside the castle walls, parking is only outside.

We staid one night at this hotel as we wished to do a one night escapade from Lisbon. We took a bus in Lisbon (Campo Grande) and in 1 hour arrived in Óbidos. The hotel is very easy to reach from the bus stop (in general, Óbidos is a very small village) and check in was straight forward. The bedroom we staid in was rather small, but for one night it was fine. The village is quite touristic (but so lovely!), so at night you'll only find tourists and people working in restaurants/bars.

The front desk staff were VERY helpful in arranging transport for us to aoeniche and helping us figure out our departure to Lisbon
The bathroom is very cramped and its walls were sweating.

The location is awesome. Right in the heart of Obidos, within the walls and just 4m walk from the main shopping road. Parking was easy and always available and most of all everything was clean to perfection.
The beds were not very confortable. The mattresses prevented us from a good night's sleep all the 4 days we were there. If it was only one nigh or two I would not even mention it, but as it was 4, it started to become an issue.
