We were at the Mangie Villa for five (young vacation). It was almost perfect - size, equipment, the pool and generally the interior and exterior of the villa is a much more beautiful one than the rest of the offers. While the Dutch were whistled around the pool in their hotel facilities like oil sardines, we could only smile with amusion. The owner of the villa is super nice, always helpful and constantly striving to do her best and to guarantee her guests an unforgettable stay. We can absolutely recommend the villa and if we go to Crete again, we know exactly where we are!

Only the point that someone else lives in the villa (janitor, in the basement area of the villa) would have been nice to know before booking. However, after a problem with the pool, we found it an absolute win-win situation, because the problem was fixed immediately and you came to a nice conversation. It should also be mentioned that you really don't notice anything from the janitor and his family. It's like you're alone.
