2 aree autonome separate, una al piano superiore con vista sul mare e una in basso. Ottimo per 2 famiglie o per una famiglia più numerosa dove è possibile avere uno spazio separato quando richiesto.
Sezione completamente recintata con un sacco di spazio per la barca, auto e bambini per giocare, dove tutti possono sentirsi sicuri e godersi la propria vacanza
500 m dalla spiaggia di sabbia bianca per godersi il fantastico surf, oltre a 500 metri dall'estuario che è fantastico per i bambini
A 15 minuti a piedi dai negozi e dai caffè.

An ideal property for us and the extended family in the future. Great layout and fully fenced section so the fur baby can run around freely.. A great deck awesome for catching all day sun enables another living area comfortably.

Location was great. Huge secure yard.
Upstairs was servicable but dated and could have been cleaner, also needs new curtains in the main bedroom. Dog hair everywhere. Suspicous marks on the duvet cover and a sock left in the bedside drawer. Yuck.
Downstairs was disgusting. Mold everywhere and what I suspect is an asbestos ceiling that has a lot of disturbance (people have written their names in the sparkly popcorn texture). It was very unclean with mold in the bathroom and oily streaks on the countertops in the kitchen.

We ended up not using the downstairs at all - my husband died at 35yo from Mesothelioma, so we were not going to risk exposure.

Bach is let out relying on clients to self clean dishes pots floors etc. Cleanliness was not up to standard utensils greasy, drawers food and crumbs, I cleaned out all the drawers and cupboards and put things through the dish washer. Under sink water stagnating and mouldy cloths - i cleaned this up and tightened the u joint - problem solved. Owner checks on bach once a month. Advise you to take own induction pots/pans. Vacum cleaner very little suction - no bags to put rubbish in - we were required to take this away when we left. Nice fridge, great dishwasher, lots of cleaning products - your stay will be luck of the draw as to have clean the person prior to you is.

Kids had a great time staying here, great location close to beach, estuary and town.
Bottom area needs some upgrading, but for a batch its fine. Great for 2 family's or friends.

Awesome place with plenty of bedding for the amount of people we had staying and plenty of lawn for the kids to run around and play within the fully fenced section. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and park//recreational area. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Would highly recommend this property to anyone heading to Whangamataa.

We had the best time staying at this property. We have three boys aged under 10 and we did not have to worry about them in this locked up very large section. A quiet street, very close to the beach and surf club and conveinience store. We will definitely be back to stay. Easy communication with the owners. Totally worth it.

The upstairs living room and bedrooms are fine but the downstairs living carpet is so cold damp and feels like its wet and the last people that were there before us throw all the rubbish in the big yellow rubbish bin and over filled it but we did clean up and left somethings for the owner to use for more guests

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed which was great as the weather that weekend wasn't pleasant (which couldn't be helped), but we still had a lovely time away. The section is resonably large and there were were plenty of plates, cups, cuttlery etc and we were warm and cosy. Would definitely stay here again. Close to amenities and a short distance to the beach. Steve was fantastic to deal with and it was reasonably priced. Was nice to explore Whangamata & the kids had fun fishing down at the warf despite the weather. Didn't get to do that fishing charter trip so we will be back 🙂

Property was spacious but the lower level needs updating. We spent all our time on the upper level when at the property & only used the lower level to sleep, toilet & shower. It's ok for the cheaper price, you certainly get what you pay for.

We loved staying here with the set up of the house being two separate units. It gave the chance for our family to have plenty of space. We enjoyed eating meals out on the large deck and good large section for the kids to run around. We found the location convenient to the playground and the beach. Will definitely be staying again soon.

Overall the property is quite good and the owner is doing work on the property to improve it.
Unfortunately the bathroom is very dated and felt damp, the kitchen electricals were not working - no stove, oven, plugs were not working, drier not working. We did contact the owner and he offered an electrician to come over but due to being on the beach it was hard to be there.
If everything works, it is a good house

Stayed at this place twice now, great for large family's, close to beach, not too flash so great for kids of all sizes! Close to park, shops and surf club, great family adventure away!

Had an amazing weekend away here! Steve made everything just so easy for us. Would defiantly come back and book this amazing little Bach again! Had everything we needed and was super cosy. Steve is amazing to deal with. 10/10 for us.
