We enjoyed our stay, and will return. There were a couple of things that need to be addressed. The shower curtain was very dirty, the bathroom sink did not drain properly , The freezer needed to be defrosted and the bed is too low to the ground. We enjoyed the quaint hideaway in the desert. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend friends and family to your hideaway

I grew up riding horses in Cave Creek and have never felt as "in" the desert as I did at this beautiful home. We stayed here during our move back to Arizona and it felt like the most therapeutic welcome home. I saw my first roadrunner and I've lived in AZ for 30+ years! When you arrive I would definitely do a scorpion search, we found 3 (dead) ones upon arrival and with a 2 year old it was a bit stressful but it wasn't a persistent problem. This place is definitely worth it and the host was so kind and accommodating!

Very remote and quiet property, felt like we were immersed in the desert, yet only a 5-7 minute drive to grocery stores and coffee shops. Place was perfect for the two of us. Amenities as described in the listing. Good WiFi.

This one-bedroom house is charming, decorated inside and out with an artist's eye. Very comfortable bed, great shower, updated bathroom, updated kitchen, living room area with a view. Shaded patio on north side with good view of mountains as well as garden with a variety of Sonoran plants. Very central for hiking and restaurants. Just enough separation from neighboring houses.

The property was perfect size for a couple. All of the amenities were modern and available. While quietly tucked away the property had convenient access to groceries and other stores/restaurants within a short drive.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay. The property was great. It was pretty cool to hear coyotes howling nearby.

Beautiful desert setting yet close to civilization. A homey atmosphere set among the saguaros and wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Cave Creek property. There were morning walks and peaceful relaxation on the patios at night under a full moon. We highly recommend Sarah’s casita and hope to return.

Although it was just a 4-day stay, I and my Welsh terrier thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The desert surrounding our guesthouse was spectacular, and although we were quite a bit further north of Scottsdale than I expected, I was happy to discover Cave Creek and Carefree, which were new to me. The house was lovely and very comfortable, and it was easy to get to the many attractions in Scottsdale. I highly recommend the property.

Lovely property and well appointed. It’s dark in the dessert ! Bathroom and kitchen are great. Nice outside space. The bed is on the softer side.

It was fully equipped was everything that we needed. It was the perfect place to relax. It was a short drive to town for shopping and dining with several very nice restaurants. It is also within driving distance to Sedona where we enjoyed hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Loved, loved, loved the property. Although we were on a shared piece of property with the owners, the way the houses were set up and all of the natural desert trees and plants, it felt like we were on our own lot. Sarah was very helpful and responsive to our requests. Would rent again!

Just spent a month in this tranquil hidden gem of a place. Sarah is wonderful to work with - quick response to any issue that arose. Wonderful welcoming touches too! We loved the quiet setting tbat felt like we were on the edge of the desert. The daily visits from wildlife just out the door was bonus! The home has windows that open up the space wonderfully- desert views all around. We were blessed to have the huge full moon come in one window while the sun was coming up in the other one morning as we woke up to the bird songs - wow. The close proximity to groceries and restaurants (although we loved cooking our own most of the time) and hiking was awesome. We loved exploring and hiking Bartlet lake nearby. The home is just as described and the right size for the two of us. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to escape the busyness of life and experience the wonder of nature!

We all loved Hidden Desert. The property is situated such that it is truly hidden from the main road and neighbors. The house is large for a one bedroom and had plenty of space for 4 adults. The kitchen, laundry, and bath were well stocked with essentials for cooking and cleaning. Sara was great to work with and accommodated our 3:00AM arrival easily. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house. Perfect location yet a remote feel. Well equipped and comfortable.

Overall we were very happy with Sarah's "Hidden Desert". We did have a cleaning issue when we checked it but a phone call to Sarah brought a quick and satisfactory resolution that we were comfortable with. After that, our stay was everything that we were looking for; very relaxing!!! The property is close to many things yet just far enough into the desert to be very private. We would happily rent from Sarah again.

This was a fabulous experience. My wife and I absolutely loved it. The cottage is located in a quiet, safe and convenient location. It's nicely appointed with modern furnishings/appliances and it's very clean. Plus, the surrounding desert is teaming with wildlife: rabbits, quail, road runners, songbirds and even javelina. One morning, not far away, I even encountered deer. It's a great place for cultural enthusiasts, too. Scottsdale and all its marvelous restaurants and shops is but a 30 minute drive away. My wife and I loved this place so much, that we're hoping to book it for twenty days next winter, rather than just ten days.
