About this house rental
This well-kept, single level ranch property located in a residential area on the waters edge of beautiful Lake Hamilton offers all the amenities you need for a fun-filled stay at the lake. The home includes 2 bedrooms equipped with two comfortable queen size beds that sleeps 4. Two rollaway beds are available on request to enable the unit to sleep six. The home has one and one half baths with a shower/bath combo, a large family/smart tv room at the back of the house, a lakeside living room with smart tv, a galley kitchen equipped with modern appliances and all dishes and cooking utensils you would need, an outdoor gas grill, a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer, and a lakeside dining room that is equipped with furniture to seat 6. The beautiful lakeside covered 12 x 24 deck equipped with exterior ceiling fans and table and chairs to seat 8, is a great place to unwind after a day on the lake and to enjoy the late afternoon summer breezes. The yard is beautifully landscaped with lush green grass, and beautiful landscaping and trees. The lakeside swim area has a large patio and a ladder to access the lake for your swimming pleasure. A one stall covered boat dock is included for your use during your stay. It accomodates all types of boats, including tritoons.

The house was very clean and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. It was a short drive into all of the fun downtown areas. The view from the back deck was awesome. We rented a boat one day and it fit perfectly in the boat dock. We especially enjoyed daily visits from a neighborly cat named Buddy!

We had a great time over Labor Day at this perfect little home! We grilled every day∋ght and ate out on the deck with awesome lake views! We fished in the mornings but didn’t catch much lol…but it was such a relaxing and fun getaway for us! Everything is fully stocked…just bring your clothes and food! We played games almost every night and enjoyed this place so much! Thank you for having us!!

This house was not only comfortable, but included all the necessities for cooking! Anything you needed, except for beach towels, were included in the stay. I highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had a great time at this house. It was so nice to be able to dock the boat right there in the back yard. Loved the porch with not just one but two fans. If you love dogs there is a neighborhood pup named ricky that will swing by and hang out for a bit. The house is nice and clean with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a great coffee maker and good knifes. It's a very quite neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to Hot Springs.

House is in a nice location on land and water. Easy access to town and boat ramp. Outside space was nice for enjoying the lake at anytime of day. There was plenty of room to store boat trailer and have plenty of parking,house had plenty of space to stretch your legs.

If you are looking for a spacious home in Hot Springs area, especially if you have a boat, this could be for you! The home is clean and several updates have been made. The backyard porch area is gorgeous - air breezes nicely and minimal bugs in JULY (a welcome reprieve from Florida gnats and mosquitos) and the boat slip would make this perfect for boat owners. Loved having the option for making a pot of coffee or single Keurig. The air conditioner struggled to cool in the early evening, but eventually did its job for the morning. The hot water is VERY HOT--FYI if you have kids, you'll want to monitor the water temp for showers :). The carport/steep driveway is not conducive to full size SUVs or big trucks. We chose to park at the top of the driveway/roadway. The WIFI is a struggle so if you are planning to connect and do any work from your computer, it'll be challenging. We did pull off movie night with Netflix one night and only a handful of "buffering" issues. The hosts were very responsive when needed.

This house is so much better in person than the photos. It is so cozy and comfortable. The property is very clean and has everything you need. I even found a grapefruit spoon. The yard was plenty big for our girls to run and play and the dock and swimming cove were perfect. You could tell there was thought put into all the details. Marcia was so helpful during our stay and even had some recommendations on things to do. We left feeling rejuvenated and had a wonderful relaxing time.

Great Lake stay!!
Photos were true. Water beautiful! There was no no wake zone which was rough on our boat. The first day was extremely hot - over 100* & the ac couldn’t keep up, but the owners helped us out. Overall great stay!

Thanksgiving
We had a great week celebrating Thanksgiving in Hot Springs. The house was the perfect getaway for our family! We would love to stay again in the summer to take advtange of being right on the lake.

Convenient Location
Property highlights:
- Very convenient location to many Hot Springs attractions - great grocery store down the street with everything you need
- We did not take advantage of this but the boat slip / dock were really nice - looks like an amazing place to enjoy the water during warmer weather.
- Very smooth booking / check-in process - we had plenty of towels, stuff in the kitchen to cook with. The only thing that might be helpful is more areas to lay luggage on to unpack.
Considerations:
- The owner did communicate this in advance but the driveway is steep so if you have a larger vehicle, you won't be able to park it under the car port. We had an Expedition and it did not fit. Not a huge deal for us but if you require a covered space and have a larger vehicle, talk to the owner before booking
- It is a little small in the bedrooms. It says it can sleep up to 6 but with 4 we were crowded.

Paradise Cove
This house has it all! Owners are friendly and responsive and have been very thoughtful in providing comfortable beds, fluffy towels and misc little amenities. The deck is shaded with a beautiful view and nice lake breezes. We would love to stay here again!

Just What We Needed
This was such a lovely property to stay at for our first vacation with VRBO. The location is perfect! Right on the water, great lake views, centrally located to our planned activities, and 10 minutes to downtown Hot Springs. What made the location even better was the fact that we picked THE hottest week to visit, plus our kids were battling colds. So we were able to cool off between activities and freshen up on medicines w/ plenty time to spare. The home was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. I'm obsessed with the mattresses! Marcia was a dream to work with. The internet router went down and she did everything to make it right for the remainder of our stay. She was super helpful and quickly responded to any questions I had. I truly hope to return in the cooler weather to continue exploring Hot Springs!!!

Relaxing Vacation
We were all looking for a location where we could swim and relax and this lakeside getaway offered just that. We relaxed and then we went into town and drove around the park areas. All in all, it was wonderful and we will certainly look to return in the future.

The property was nice and communication was great! Marcia gave us plenty of local information as well as boating info. The driveway was super steep but plenty of parking and boat trailer space. The home was also stocked well with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Would stay again.

Boathouse was very handy. Takes less than 10 minutes to motor from Treasure Island lauch on 270 to boathouse. Very enjoyable place to stay.

The property was very clean and just as described in the property listing. We were able to get to the downtown area in about 10 minutes. This property is situated on a nice, quiet neighborhood of established home. It was very quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for!

Perfect little lake house for a getaway. It was convenient to downtown and fully stocked with the kitchen essentials for staying in. We enjoyed fishing at the end of our busy days. The fold-away beds were great for allowing our children to share a bedroom.

The house was a little tight but the views from the house were great! It was raining and was cold the whole visit but the fireplace and view of the lake made our stay warm and relaxing.

Lovely place, beautiful view
It’s a great house with amazing views. They had everything we needed for a lovely trip. The neighbors were a little loud with thumping music at night but it was usually off in time for bed and there is a new giant workshop that sits above the property which was a little surprising but didn’t impact the view.

Overall, good option for a quick get away from city life. Quaint updated, clean, lake cabin with some of the "original" cabin features. Ample space for our teens to "spread out". Our boys cannot/will not sleep in same bed so although the pull out beds were a nice option...they were too small for either of our boys...but they found they could sleep on the couch. The 2 bedrooms were definitely roomy and had great mattresses. Outdoor dining options/deck/grill/lakeside fire pit were really nice. Kitchen had ample stock of tools/cooking utensils/pots/pans, etc.(one unused lower cabinet was filled with cobwebs...this just added to the rustic feel of "cabin-life".)The one big downside is that if you're not used to "country" living...then you'll be surprised by how many of the neighbor dogs "roam free". It certainly didn't bother us...we've been lake-cabin goers for years. But, the one very sweet neighbor dog, who visits all those coming to this cabin...was left out all night and tended to howl/bark for long lengths of time. Particularly, when she's left out in a cold, rain storm, all night. The neighbor didn't seem to be at home or...noticing the continuous barking of their roaming dog.We had brought our bikes and enjoyed the extremely hilly neighborhoods in & around the lake. Hot Springs Nat'l Park was also a joy to hike. Downtown area was very family friendly and offered many great restaurants and shops in addition to the springs/spas.

A refreshing time away with family.
We had a very nice time at this home. The house and yard is all one level even down to the dock. When you begin to age not having to deal with stairs was a plus! We especially loved the big back porch. One night it stormed over the lake and it was so relaxing watching it from the porch. Hurricane Laura visited the first night we were there but the home had board games available and that's how we spent the night. Weather cleared up for us to have a couple of lake days. We rented a pontoon boat and had a blast!! It was great having all my kids under one roof and making memories for a lifetime.

This is an awesome house with everything you need. Very clean and delightfully decorated right on the lake! I would highly recommend it..Very relaxing and quite neighborhood. There is a book that tells you everything you need to know. Only suggestion is a few throw blankets to watch TV with. Can't wait to come back.

Great vacation property (with kids)
My family of 6 (2 adults and kids ranging from 12 to 9) stayed for 5 nights. When we first drove up i was worried because the house and property didn’t look exactly the same as the pictures. However i realized the pictures are from the lake side. The house is an older home but it was in great shape and was perfectly clean. It was perfect for our family. One of our favorite things to look forward to each day was the neighbors dog that would visit us. She is a Pointer and was so incredibly sweet. We named her Rabies because all she had was a Rabies tag but we later learned that her name is little “Ricky”. She was so sweet and fun with the kids.
There were two living rooms and my kids loved having their owns spaces to watch tv. ..and to lounge on the large sofas. There were two pull out cots as well which gave them more sleeping options. The two beds were SOOO comfy! I slept so good while i was there.
The landscaping is gorgeous! I loved sitting out there in the peace and quiet. It was very relaxing.
The kids did swim in the designated swimming area...but the water was really low when we were there. It was low everywhere ...no fault of the property owner. 😉�
We rented a pontoon and a tube from a nearby marina (paradise cove) and docked it at this rental house. It was so convenient. The waterways are gorgeous and family friendly.
The location of the house was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The grocery store is about a mile away which was nice.

3. Hiking at Lake Ouaichta State Park ....it was so peaceful there!

Nice, quiet location. Lake in back yard. Personal swim area with covered boat slip. Location is very close proximity to Paradise cove marina for boat rental if that is your thing. Highly recommend.

Nice property. Great deck! Neighborhood and surounding area is not as nice as I had hoped. The metal building in front of the house is very unattravtive and in my opinion diminishes the value of the property and the overall experience of future renters.
But overall we thoroughly enjoyed out stay and the process of renting and checkkng in and out was super easy.
