About this apartment rental

You need a nice vacation and we have what you are looking for! This open concept studio is perfectly located on the sound-side and directly across the street from the beach. It's designed with vacation in mind and has everything you need for a memorable time. Just bring your clothes, your personal items and desire to have a lot of fun. This first floor unit sleeps four, with a convenient queen-sized Murphy bed and queen-sized pull-out sofa bed. It is just steps away from a big pool and has a cute kiddie pool too for the little ones. Across the street is a private beach area with sandy beaches where you can soak up some sun, go swimming, build sand castles or just relax. In the evenings, you might want to sit on the sound-side of the facility under the gazebo, or on the gliding chairs and watch the boats go by. Like to grill out? There are grills out on the lawn area where you can cook your favorite foods or catch of the day if you go fishing. And speaking of fishing, you can charter one of many boats to take you for a fishing excursion you will never forget. There are also water taxis that can take you to local islands or go on a sightseeing adventure. You might see the wild horses on Shackleford Banks or even get a glimpse of Blackbeard! Visit the local parks, award winning seafood restaurants, beach shops, hiking trails or water parks. Like history? Visit the Fort Macon State Park, the second most visited park in NC. Construction of the present fort began in 1826. Fort Macon was a federal prison from 1867 to 1876. You will walk through the fort and feel that you are back in time. Don't forget to visit the NC Aquarium. This beautiful aquatic adventure features dive shows, live animal encounters, and feeding programs. Place is very small. Definitely not accommodating for more than 2 people. With that being said, this place was very clean and well stocked with all utensils needed. The walk to the beach is very short. The backside of the property has grills and access to private boat dock. This is the “Bogue sound”. Very happy with our stay here!

Bogue Shores is super convenient to the Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area. The pool is great, the beach is walkable. What more do you really need?!

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights. We loved the up to date decor of the room and all the extra amenities. We have stayed at this location several times (different rooms) and this one is by far our favorite. Would definitely stay again.

My family stayed here Memorial Day weekend. We had a wonderful time at the beach during the day and by the pool in the evenings. Accommodations were perfect for my family. Looking forward to going back next year.

The room was very nice and communication with the owner was great even before my reservation was made. There were many updated features that made it easy to keep tidy and organized in a small space, even with 2 kids. Highly recommend this property and hope to return when the pool is open for the kids to enjoy!

The location, pool and beach are in a great area. The condo was much smaller than expected for the price. There is no place to keep your luggage except in your car. We had to move blankets in order to have a drawer to put clothes in. We did enjoy the pool and fishing.

This property was very clean but the only issue we had was where the ironing board was and not being labeled.When we opened the door and it fell out almost hitting my dads leg,but other than that it was an awesome room.

This efficiency is located between the sound and the ocean! We loved being able to walk directly across the street to spend the day on the beach. After dinner we walked out back to the sound and enjoyed the beautiful views and sunset. There is also a boat dock where my fiancé fished every night. It’s a very friendly atmosphere as most of the owners and guests know each other. It’s a small room but fine for the two of us. We would definitely stay again!

The complex grounds and unit were very clean. Beautiful, well maintained dock and picnic area near water. Pool area as well! The unit was beautiful and had everything we needed! Loved Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, and Beaufort! We were able to explore everything! We will be back! :)

This was our first time visiting this area of NC. Beach was beautiful and uncrowded, and just a short walk away. Rental was as described. Had everything we needed. And it was very quiet, even with lots of families around. Enjoyed sunrises and sunsets and visiting local attractions that were mentioned in the property description.
