Fantastic 3rd stay here!

Property was perfect like usual. This is our third stay here and we will be definitely be back for a fourth time soon. Beds are all comfy, the house is spotless. Perfect place to come with family or friends.

Wir waren zufrieden!

Das Appartement liegt am Stadtrand. Wenn man ALDI & Co mag, ist die Lage super. In die Stadt runter läuft man aber lange. Wohnung liegt ruhig. Es hat alles tadellos funktioniert und wir hatten für das WiFi und für die Schlüsselbox rechtzeitig im Vorfeld die Daten erhalten. Die Zimmer waren gut, Betten bequem. Eine Garderobe im Eingangsbereich wäre schön, aber wir hatten tolles Wetter und keine nassen Jacken. Die Küche ist neu und supergroß.

Die Küche ist neu und supergroß. Etwas kurios, da viele Schränke einfach leer sind. Vermisst haben wir etwa eine Teekanne, Eierbecher und ein paar Kleinigkeiten - aber mit Improvisation haben wir dies auch so hinbekommen. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig, aber durch das Knarren der Dielen und dem Quietschen der Türen hatte man eine soziale Kontrolle der nächtlichen WC-Gänge :-). Aber diese Leichtbauweise scheint im UK nicht außergewöhnlich zu sein.

We had nice vacation with family and kids. Plenty of room for everyone to accommodate . Also it was neat and clean

Basic food items should be kept there atleast for arrival day (sugar was only 2teaspoon )

The four bedroomed house at 26 Woodgrove Drive, situated on the southern outskirts of Inverness, with easy access to all major roads, provided an excellent touring base to explore the Inverness and Lochaber Area. The property, located close to retail outlets and Tesco supermarket, was clean, bright and had all the amenities and more that we needed. A memorable stay, reasonably priced with the bonus of adequate off road parking and excellent Wi-Fi.

Search as we may, the tin opener remained illusive...

Great house and location

The house is large and comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. The kitchen and dining area are large. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 people. The backyard was pretty and private with outdoor patio furniture. The neighborhood is quiet, and it's a 5 minute walk to a shopping center that includes an Aldi and a Tesco. It is also easy to get onto the highway to reach various points of interest, including Culloden which is about 15 minutes away. The keys were conveniently placed in a lockbox with a code, and the hosts were available and responsive by phone or text.

We would have appreciated hand towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and basic condiments. Due to a car rental breakdown, we arrived at 0200, and there wasn't even a tea bag in the house. The kitchen was completely bare. We not only had to buy a lot of the basics, but we also had to buy matches to light the cooktop. We left the matches and some tea and sugar for the next group. The saute pans need to be replaced. They are very old, and the nonstick coating is completely scratched up and in such bad condition that it would be toxic to use them for cooking.

The house was lovely and well sized and the facilities were very comfortable

The dishwasher was full when we came in and having stripped the beds on departure found some of the duvets and pillows were stained, some of the bulbs didn’t work and the flush on the downstairs toilet was broken, the house was very creaky and you can hear everything in the house however this isn’t anyone’s fault, just a drawback of the house itself

Location and layout of house was great. Cleanliness was top quality and ease of booking, arrangement for keysafe worked well. Also everyone commented on the lovely pattern on the glassware. The house is well equipped.

Some of the light bulbs needed replaced and there was only a big towel for each person - would be good to have a hand towel for drying hair too. The house is well lived in with some marks on the walls etc but this didn’t matter to our stay as it shows the house is well used.

Good accommodation providing what we needed.

The house was ideal for the number in our party and gave enough space and privacy. It was also well located for us as we had a car and found travelling around easy. The neighbourhood was lovely to walk around and we were fortunate with good weather for that.

The television seems to switch itself on - it did this once when we were out, and once at around 6:30-7:00am which was disconcerting. The cooker took a bit of working out how to operate, and we couldn't use the grill as we had hoped as there wasn't the appropriate grill tray/thing. At least two of the outside chairs are broken and not usable. One small glass was cracked, though we spotted this before using.
