wonderful retreat close to city

Beautiful, quiet location walkable from town along the river, lovingly decorated and high quality equipped room, very clean, impressive hall in main building to sit and read, great little kitchen and good bathrooms, surrounded by garden :)

lower rooms in annex don't have a great view but still quiet, friendly and bright

Unterkunft mit Potential

Wunderschönes Landhaus in einer gut situierten Nachbarschaft unweit des Fluss Ness. Der Gastgeber hat umfangreiche Gäste-Informationen mit Tipps für Ausflüge & Restaurants zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Appartement war mit den wichtigsten Dingen ausgestattet.

Betten sehr unbequem, habe kaum Schlafen können. Etwas weit von der Innenstadt entfernt (zu Fuß 30 Minuten), Busse fahren eher unregelmäßig. Am Abreisetag waren lautstark Handwerker zugange, sodass man früh gezwungen wurde auszuchecken.

Fantastic place to stay.

It was quite, great location close to town lots of parking space and easy to find and all set in a beautiful house too.

Bed was comfy and all Facilities available. Great value for money.

Great place to stay if you need a quiet room and plan to walk around a lot.

Very quiet location, woke up to birdsongs and the curtains cover the windows perfectly which is important for me to get a good sleep. Great location for me, 30 minutes walk by the river to get to the city centre and just nearby lovely aera for walks.

The lock system took a while to figure out, the information on the wall says to turn the lock to the right but it worked other way round, the codes sent in the messages were difficult to find but I got in at the end.

A quiet stay with a good off season price. Clean and comfortable. Ideal for single travellers.

Great to have access to a kitchen as situation is a bit out of town.

The electronic heating and hitec touchscreen door keypad took a bit of getting used to! Took a few efforts to get back into room.

Cozy Autumnal stay near Inverness.

Location was fabulous to stay outside the business of Inverness city. The GPS took us on an interesting route but once there clearly signposted and lots of parking space. We stayed in the main apartment, and was so cozy, warm, and comfortable and well equipped, we decided on a dinner in (very short drive to a large Tesco) rather than going out. A gorgeous house, well looked after, and access was easy.

Wonderful gem in Inverness

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean! All that compensated for it location, it was about 25 miles walk from city centre.

The name of the apartment was not indicated well enough on the confirmation of the booking. Also, it was not clear that the door code also opens the apartment. Good instructions were provided for finding the apartment itself.

Bit of a find

Lovely grounds. Clean comfortable apartment - shower shared but really good. Kitchen, so OK for self catering if needed. Staff not always on site but always answered immediately if I rang, and were extremely friendly and helpful

A pleasant retreat

We stayed in an apartment on a first floor at the rear of the property accessible by an open air stair. The instructions received to enter the property were very clear and we had no problem at all with this. The apartment was huge overall, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. All perfectly equipped. All rooms with plenty of natural light and with garden views. There was also enough parking at the front of the property. It is around 20 minutes walking distance to the town centre. I would choose this place again.

Just be aware that this apartment in particular is accessible through a garden pathway and outside stairs in case you take heavy luggage with you.

Good value for money if you need a kitchenette, not the most luxurious stay but extremely convenient

Easy to get in, get to have kitchenette facilities for a good price. Overall easy going. Oven provided in winter but able to open windows to nice garden. Really quiet outdoors.

Sometimes a bit noisy and can hear other guests speaking, coming and going which can be disrupting during the night. Room in winter time had a strong smell of drains, have stayed in the summer also and this was not the case. The room definitely needs the provided electrical heater to be appropriately warm in the winter, which works best with the bathroom door shut for full effect. However, that makes the bathroom arctic. Better in the summer.

An enchanting and comfortable stay amidst the picturesque River Ness. Recommend!

During our stay at Rossal House Apartments, we had a delightful experience. Initially, we booked one apartment for three nights, and after enjoying the spaciousness and excellent amenities, we decided to extend our stay by booking another apartment in the same building for an additional three nights. Both apartments were impressively spacious and equipped with a well-appointed kitchen featuring a coffee machine, electric kettle, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, a small fridge, and all the necessary pots and pans. The serene and green surroundings next to the picturesque River Ness made the location truly enchanting. The classic countryside style of the main hall added a touch of elegance to the entire experience. Not to mention, the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds ensured a truly enjoyable stay.

The only downside we experienced during our stay at Rossal House Apartments was that the apartments tended to be a bit chilly.

Unfortunately the bed was unacceptable. We slept on a spring mattress with no top mattress. There was no noise insulation or ventilation.

Perfect for independent travelers looking for a quiet place to stay.

Very practical to be able to check in contactless at any time. Very helpful staff, who helped us out with a second blanked when we asked for one via booking.com. the kitchen was well equipped and we loved the independence the Apartment provided us with.

Great room for a couple or solo traveler on a budget - 25 minute walk from downtown Inverness.

This place was great to stay if you’re on a budget or are used to go the shared house experience (it’s not quite a hostel). We really liked that it had a kitchen and that we could cook our own meals. The shared bathrooms were very clean, and we never had to wait to use them.

We knew it was going to be about a 25 minute walk to the main part of town, but we would have liked to be a little closer at some points during the stay. (But the walk was really lovely along the river!) It also would have been helpful/nice if the rooms had a fan and the couches in the room could use updating.

Location, Beautiful and Walking Beside a River

It's more like what I didn't like, which was nothing! Just like the photos. Well kept up inside and out. Easy to contact staff by email and get a quick response. Nice to have a code for outer door and apartment door. I chose this unit for the big windows and they were wonderful. Quiet and never heard or saw any others except once in the parking lot when new people came in. Easy walk along the River Ness to town. Great theater and movie cinema across the river, Eden Court with new running shows.

That I hadn't planned more nights at Rossal House.

Fantastic spacious apartment within wonderful building

We loved the amount of room we had, and the property as a whole was really beautiful.

The only thing that was on the smaller size was the walk in shower.

Modern comfortable apartment

Great location, used as a base to explore Loch Ness, Fort Augustus. Easy to park. Large spacious comfortable rooms. All amenities you need. Great features with usb charging lamps and large wardrobes which fit cabin luggage in.

Lovely stay, wish we stayed longer!

Kitchen was well equipped! Good shower and really comfy bed. Soft towels and great pillows. Location is in a nice and quiet area! Host is very friendly and answers questions quick.

We just stayed one night so the location was a bit far from center
