Head upstairs to the ultimate master suite, with kitchenette, ensuite, walk in wardrobe opening on to a deck with unobstructed blue water views of the Port, Paritutu Rock & The Sugar Loaf Islands. The perfect place to retreat and watch the sunset over the water before hoping into bed for a peaceful nights sleep.
An additional three bedrooms on the first floor, queen room with direct bathroom access completes this fabulous accommodation package. Spend your days watching the boats come in and enjoy the sea spray and glistening blue water. Children would need to be supervised at all time at the front of this property is not fenced.
The Port is a five-minute stroll away on Oceanview Parade where you can enjoy the various restaurants and cafes. A must to visit for brunch is The Bach and evening dinning at Gustos or Manous. For those that enjoy the more relaxed style of dinning, grab some fresh fish n chips from Catch & Co and watch the boats come in. It is also the start of the Scenic Coastal Walkway which connects you to the CBD a thirty minute walk, where you can experience the best of what New Plymouth has to offer along the way, beaches, shopping, arts and culture. The Moturoa shops are a five-minute stroll away where you can pick some supplies and do a bit of local village shopping.

Wonderful property - true to photographs in a quiet area of NP. Well equipped kitchen and good quality linen and towels. Plenty of space and an amazing view especially from the upstairs deck. We enjoyed watching the ships and small boats on the harbour. Fish and chips from Catch &Co situated on the wharf is a must.

This property is very modern and clean, it’s private and has an incredible kitchen with everything you could need. A wonderful, comfortable and open plan lounge area with an amazing view of the ocean. All the beds were very comfortable and location is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. We totally enjoyed exploring New Plymouth and Mt Taranaki for the first time. Where else can you see the beach and a snow capped mountain in one view? The home was in a very handy location with an awesome water and boat ramp view. It was very comfortable for 7 people and spacious.

A Stunner!
We loved the beer fridge which we gladly restocked, the views outstanding, must bring the kayaks next time!
Was lovely to see a bit of stock in the pantry too, although we did not use.
I did drop a small bottle of baileys on the kitchen and found it difficult to find the appropriate mop cloths, but managed with what I found.
We will certainly we staying at 8 roy Street again

Fantastic Property
We took 3 generations of our family for a weekend and this house was just perfect. The upstairs en-suite bedroom is awesome with the balcony looking out to sea. Wet sat and watched the boats coming in and out. The kitchen has just about everything you could possibly need if you're cooking in the house. Not a single train went passed so don't worry about that train track. The location is ideal, not too far to walk to the harbour cafes and just a short drive to the city or the park. We'll definitely be back.

Fantwstic location and lovley home
A well presented bach, beautiful upstairs master suite, and three more good bedrooms downstairs with bathroom. Huge lounge/kitchen living, with deck straight out to the ocean. Sorry not to see any trains! Quite bright lights from the port, and a few loud noises one night, but on the whole a great prooerty, as described.
