The room we had was not four star, we where very disapointed. Will not stay there again.

It was clean

The bed was very uncomfortable, we rolled to the middle, very soft and springy. Did not get much sleep my back was sore in the morning.The room was very dark and small. could do with some updating.The bathroom had no wash basin. The basin was in the kitchenette. Did not like the fact that you had to wash hands, brush teeth and dry your hair, (yes hairdryer was on the wall above kitchen bench) in the kitchenette. This room was definitely not four star as stated on booking.com

Give this one a pass!

Proximity to boardwalk along ocean. We requested a second night because we planned to golf the next day and didn't want to re-pack and move again.

Some things out of their control, but some were. Terrible bed! Was a king but actually a king box spring with 2 twin mattresses and mattresses were so broken down, too soft! There is a big construction project across the street and work started at 7 am. Much noise.

The staff were very welcoming. The location was perfect for what I needed and amazingly quiet. The room was clean and a good size. Great to have a proper table to work and eat at. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I will definitely return.

Quiet, Clean, Affordable and Comfy

The hotel is quiet but still very close to town. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and prices are affordable. I would stay here again.

Staff didn't provide breakfast which was included in my reservation however I was promptly refunded and apologized to.

A Gem in New Plymouth

Location is excellent. We could walk to the waterfront, the mall, the supermarket. Off street parking right outside our door. The Spa bath was real luxury. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall we always enjoy staying at the landmark motel have stayed there on a number occasions

Always extremely clean and tidy and very helpful friendly

Unfortunately the bed wasn’t so comfortable might be a bit too old now

Exceptional

They are the loveliest hosts. Super clean and well serviced. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants a convenient central place to stay. It was very quiet as well and it's right on the main road I was very pleasantly surprised.
