Perfect weekend

Second time we’ve stayed at OlhaOmirante Guesthouse and will definitely repeat. Perfect location, very clean and comfortable. Andreia really lovely, always there on time to check us in. Value for money.

Bad communication for checkin. No reception or useful contact info. Very stressful start.

Lovely house, beautifully renovated. Lively bar next door.

Website says checkin between 5 - 8 but nobody there, front door was locked, place deserted. Tried phoning but got answerphone in French giving us another number. Finally rescued by help from local woman at bar next door phoning around. Message had been sent to whatsapp and booking.com while we were on the plane, which we didn't see. No other way of communicating beforehand. Very stressful start wondering where we would sleep. No breakfast just coffee machine. The 'picnic room' in photo is now a bedroom, no tables and chairs.

L’emplacement, proche de tout dans Olhão. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité, le mercado La gentillesse de Andreia et sa disponibilité ! Une belle chambre, avec grande salle de bains, dans une belle maison typique. Un grand lit confortable un rooftop très agréable.

La chambre donnant sur la rue est très mal isolé du bruit extérieur, simple vitrage et ouverture dans le bas. Je pouvais suivre la conversation des personnes assises sur la placette du café d’en bas. Manque un petit radiateur dans la salle de bains, car en octobre il fait un peu plus frais. Quelques étagères, patères manquent dans la salle de bains, et un miroir un peu plus grand. Sinon pour le reste top!

Lovely place to stay in Olhao

We love staying here when we visit Olhao. We are returning customers and we really love the cozy and welcoming feel when we are staying at the Guesthouse. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and with comfy beds. We love the central location, we will be back. Thank you!

Beautiful room, very comfortable and welcoming.

Beautifully decorated and amazing staff, Andreia was great from the start, even before I arrived. The property has been beautifully renovated, keeping the old lines and floorings and the typical terraces of the Algarve.

There is nothing that I disliked.

This was by far the most beautiful place we stayed in portugal! Great location, quiet, and a beautiful colorful artsy apartment with balcony. Andreia gave us the sweetest reception ever and also helped us figure out some details of our trip. We arrived by bike and there is a storage rooms where the bikes can be kept safely.

Beautiful, charming guesthouse perfectly located to explore Olhão

Beautiful room, gorgeous high ceilings, and the most comfortable bed! The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, it was super easy to communicate with her via Whatsapp. The guesthouse was located in a fab spot - easy to park for free on the street nearby, and walk to the centre of the town for the restaurants and bars. Great terrace with views.

Our room was at the front of the guesthouse and the road outside is cobbled so there was a lot of noise every time a car passed by. For anyone who is noise sensitive its definitely important to take ear plugs to be able to fall asleep. The other option is to reserve one of the rooms at the back of the property.

A special place- like Olhao-authentic,unusual and interesting vibe

The location is fantastic, very central and nearby there is a little cafe selling lovely, portuguese orange cakes and custard pastries.The roof terrace is lovely,especially in the early morning with the swallows swirling by.There is a beautiful secret-a stork ,who lives on the church tower, flies by the terrace balcony in the morning:so near you can see his legs-wonderful place to relax and appreciate the morning.The train station and the ferries to the islands are within easy walking distance ,as is the chicken restaurant Frangos which does charcoal grilled chicken with great piri piri sauce at a very reasonable price. Culatra and Armona islands are unique and well worth visiting in the off season-you will find pristine,sandy shores lined with shells and vast blue ,endless skies and crystal clear seas , as well as some very cool beach bars.

Charming and clean guesthouse in central Olhao old town

This guesthouse was really great, we especially appreciated the charm and historic character of the rooms and building. Location was very central and check-in was easy. Andrea was a lovely and very helpful hostess.

The location was fine. Finding it extremely difficult as there are two 26 addresses on same street.

Room very damp and cold. Bath towels never dried. Bathroom door does not close.

Very comfortable, lovely welcome from Andreia. A bottle of wine in our room was a welcome touch.

Breakfast is not provided but there was coffee and a large range of tea. There is also a fridge in which guests can store their own food, and a toaster. The rooftop seating area is lovely, a great place to enjoy an evening snack and glass of wine.

Andrea is super helpful. I have arthritis in my hip, so I was very pleased to find the bed was really comfortable. The shower was fab.

It was fine for me, but some might not like the internal flight of stairs up to the property, although they are shown on the property photos.
