Rustic setting with a homely feel. Lovely pools and plenty to do. The real highlight is it's position on the side of the hill......stunning views both for early morning coffee and late evening drinks.....would definitely go back

Amazing place
Amazing place
Had an amazing holiday with family and friends ranging from young to old. The pool area was beautiful and spacious enough for everyone. The outside dining area a great place to chat, eat and enjoy the stunning views of Sayalonga and the surrounding hillsides. The sunsets were spectacular. Cannot say enough about how helpful Roberto the owner was. Nothing was too much trouble. Always there at the end of the phone. Especially to swiftly organise a taxi when required. Typically Spanish house and well tended garden. A great place for a family get together in the sun.

Mountain paradise
Mountain paradise
The property was amazing, so spacious, clean and well equipped. It was an amazing location, high up in the mountains, but only 15 minutes from the beach. The outdoor spaces were beautifully maintained while inside was very traditionally Spanish. The drive up and down the mountain is quite daunting and needs a lot of concentration but the views are worth it. Would recommend for a large family gathering.

Great experience
Great experience
We were a party of 23, who stayed very comfortably in the Cortijo. Overall we had an amazing time. Really spacious, with good size bedrooms very clean with plenty of towels and had all the amenities we needed. The outside space was great and really well looked after with a really good size pool which was cleaned daily. The social space was big enough for everyone. It is a 5 minute drive from the town of Sayalonga. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this property. Perfect for family reunions.

We stayed here as a large group of friends and family (18 of us ages 2-60) and had the most amazing holiday. The villa is absolutely huge - we still had several bedrooms and bathrooms spare! The facilities and entertainment on offer are more than adequate - tennis, boules, table tennis, darts, pool table, table football etc and indoors the kitchens are well equipped and the lounge area is big enough to kick back and relax in, and the huge terrace area with its stunning views across the mountains makes for an awesome dining area. The whole property is well maintained and very clean. There are two pools, a main one and a smaller one. The main pool area with its own bar area is a fantastic place to relax in the sun with a beer or a gin! There is a volleyball net for the main pool which was great fun, but you will need the Top Gun album for full effect!Roberto, the owner, was very welcoming and clearly takes pride in his property - rightly so. He tells us there are plans to add more facilities in due course, such as a childrens play area, crazy golf and a hot tub. He also came and cooked pizzas for us in the wood fired oven one night and arranged someone to cook traditional paella on another. The only minor criticisms would be that some of the equipment could do with being repaired or replaced - tips for the pool cues, proper darts, the volleyball net needs a repair etc and there was a shortage of large glasses for long drinks - really very minor things! The village of Sayalonga is as lovely as the villa. Yes, its a bit of a walk down a steep hill (allow 10 mins to walk down, 20 to walk up - although if youre fit you can halve that). The village square is small but buzzing with life, with very little traffic. There are a handful of bars and restaurants that seemed to have plenty of local and tourist trade. We tended to eat and drink at Mesón Morisco; the food, value for money and staff are incredible - I dont think a bill for two courses and a shameful amount of wine and beer ever came to more than €20 per person. And at the end of the night one of the waiters was always happy to give us a lift back up the hill! There is a small shop in the village that was perfectly stocked for buying first night supplies, but a trip to the supermarket about 20mins away will be necessary for a proper supply run. Again Roberto offered to assist by taking someone in his van if required.Amazing holiday... Sayalonga, we will be back!!
