Cool and comfortable apartment for a few days in Porto

Big, comfortable rooms with high ceilings and a lovely terrace. The apartment kitchen was really well equipped.

Though there is a second toilet in the apartment, it is adjacent to the terrace area.

overall great stay in Porto with minor issues in the apartment……which is also minor to sort it in my opinion, for a perf

Location is perfect, appartment large, extremely clean, high rooms, kitchen well provided for (equipment-wise). Despite busy street, reasonable noise. Easy checkin, reception of hostel at no. 225, a few steps along the same side of the street.

I kindly asked the gentleman at the hostel reception to allow our luggage to be stored somewhere for 2 hours when we left, as our transportation to Lisabona was at 2 30pm. Explained I was there with my mother, who is 74+, and my two daughters, 12+. Also, myself in the middle of a lower back crisis, on painkillers... I could barely lift light things - and move too much; this was none of their fault, of course, but people can still be human, I believe?! The gentleman strongly refused, did not even listen to what I had to say. He argued 'security reasons' and no space (there was quite a 'balcony' just in front of the entrance to our appartment, whereby only guests to this appartment and another one on the 2nd floor had access - photo attached). And we would have anyway left before the new guests would have arrived, since checkin starts at 3pm... Plus a looooong hallway and a room at the reception itself, groundfloor at no 225. I explained I would take the 'security' risk, he just tried to give me a flyer with lockers at a metro station (but he did not have any left - and anyway it was impossible for me to move our two pieces of luggage to any metro) - and very strongly argued that their website says no holding of luggage. BUT I booked with Booking - and there was no such mention on Booking at any time, not when I booked, not when we left - as I checked again just to see what I had not read... but it was actually no such mention. Too bad the appartment is beautiful, spacious, well located and clean... people do make a difference!

Good location, as pictured!

Property is as pictured in the adverts, with many amenities such as shampoo/conditioner and cooking equipment provided!

There wasn’t proper bedding/sheets for the sofa bed which would have made the stay more comfortable.

Very beautiful and new apartment, close to everything in Porto

Even if it was written on booking, that it has 2 bathrooms, one of them was only a toilet, outside the apartment, and could be reached through the terrace. There was no heating in the apartment, so in March it was a bit cold in the evenings.

The apartment is well structured, perhaps a few pans and a few more towels would make it perfect. The price is adequate

Great position, closer to their own parking. Big apartment. Easy check-in.

Very uncomfortable mattresses. Difficulties in loading and unloading luggage if by car as the apartment is located in a very central area on a narrow street.

A bit chilly in winter as there is no central heating. There was one little stove that we used a lot.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cool Terrace Apartment. Would definitely recommend.

Location was excellent. Cleanliness of apartment was outstanding. Spacious rooms and very comfortable apartment for a family of 4. Fantastic value for money.

Requires a light switch for foyer/landing at the front door (street door) to walk up the stairs in the dark, or a motion sensor so turns on when you the open door. If there was one we couldn't find it. Probably only a problem because of the time of year we visited (end of October). Other than this couldn't fault the property.

Lovely, spacious apartment with terrace in central location

Lovely, big apartment. Very spacious and modern. Shower great. Terrace really good size and quiet. Well equipped. Close to most things in Porto, within walking distance. Easy check in at property a couple of doors down.

Superb

All clean and prepared for the arrival. Great location near a supermarket, restaurants, beaches and city center isn’t too far having a nice smooth walk. Good indications for the health situation of COVID-19.

No private parking BuT is possible to do it right on the street.

Nice and clean apartment. Walking distance to all major attractions and 2 mins walk to shopping streets.Host was very polite and kind to allow for early check in .

Beautiful decorated and very well equipped apartment with a big terrace in the city centre. Walking distance to many attractions, shopping and restaurants. With 2 bedrooms it is a very nice apartment for families who like to stay central.
