The condo has recently been renovated including new vinyl laminate flooring, countertops, 1 flat screen 40' TV's & DVD players . All appliances include washer, dryer, dishwasher and stove help insure a wonderful vacation time.
With a Queen size bed,and queen sleeper sofa in the living room (and folding single bed),it can accommodate 2-5 people.It is 629 sqft and the biggest 1 unit size in beach club.Out on the balcony,you can relax with a beautiful South Texas sunset.
At the club house,work out at the large fitness center(available 24 hours).There are Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna,6 BBQ, 5-6 party table.Enjoy the shaded evening while having steaks on the grille and a cocktail. Escape and unwind in a world of relaxation in the pool area ,hot tub (JACUZZI) and dry sauna.
There are a lot place for parking,even for a boat in the back of condo.

Work I did not expect
Overall, our trip went well. Fortunately, I arrived to the condo before my friends, so I was able to do some unexpected cleaning, that the property owners apparently overlooked. The bedroom dresser drawers contained dead roaches, so I had to wipe out all of the drawers before I could use them. The bathroom countertop was filthy (dust and what appeared to be sand). The sofabed mattress cover had some sort of stains on it, that did not come off, even after washing 2x's, in addition to it's overall condition being poor. I don't understand why there was a piece of plywood placed between the folded sofabed and the cushions of the sofa I think the property owners should invest more in useable linens that their guest will be using, and worry less about the decorative linens that they specifically instruct guest not to use, but keep available to give the condo a "beach feeling".

Perfect spot!
Super clean unit with a wonderful location - walking distance to whitecap beach. Very quiet area and well kept. Loves the balcony and the pool. Owners were very clear about everything and very responsive. Would love to a stay again in the future!

RUINED OUR FAMILY VACATION
After almost 3 hours driving we arrived to the condo at a little after 6pm on Thursday and opened the door to discover that the condo was never cleaned from the previous house guests. Tried getting in touch with owner for 40 to 45 minutes and no response to texts or calls. Finally got her to answer the phone and told us it would be a hour before person could make it to clean then it was pushed to 9pm she texted at 905 saying her lady still couldn't get there could we hang out in pool area or sauna... we had to try searching for a hotel and everything was booked and finally we were able to find a room for 200 a night which is crazy and they were booked the rest of the weekend so we had to take it. Kept texting with owner and she kept telling me it would be done. At 11pm Thursday night she said the condo would be ready and clean for us to check in Friday by 11am, at first she said 3pm and I said you're kidding right. Next morning happens and I texted at 8am to make sure we were all set to check in later. Her reply was no sorry.. full refund... and that's it. Ghosted us after that. We had Reservations until Sunday. Now we have nowhere to go VRBO I was on the phone thursday night for 5 hours and they did nothing to help and refused to pay for a hotel cause it was a MINOR problem. Stained sheets, dirty condo in covid times is minor. I couldn't believe it. So I had to try and find a place for us or drive home 3 hours and forget our vacation. Of course sketchy hotels were available. No thank you... we lucked out and found one room available at the reputable hotel chain for ..get ready for this 300 a night. What were we to do? we took the room and tried to salvage the vacation. I called VRBO back after the condo owner ghosted us friday morning and hopefully they will reimburse us like the said at least one night of our room.
I couldn't believe the condo owner did that to a family. I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM THIS OWNER .. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE ON THAT...

We had amazing time. Ocean and stores were very close and it’s so much stuff to do in the city, pool and jacuzzi was awesome and we loved it. Thank you

Family get away
This was our first trip to the area. The location to the beach was awesome and the pool was nice. Accessing the apartment was super easy. Was well equipped with everything we needed. The only complaint we had was the water pressure in the shower was almost non existence. Other than that, it was as advertised and as expected.

balcony looks like it might be a little unsafe, needs repairs, we were given the wrong information from the property manager, we were given the wrong unit number and parking spot. otherwise nice unit and short walk to beach

Perfect
We absolutely loved this property. It was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed for an entire week, and didn’t want to leave! The beach was a short walk away; and the pool and hot tub were just perfect too. Not to mention the lake on the property to go fishing was wonderful as well. The owner was also very helpful and responded very quickly with any questions I had. I highly recommend this place for your perfect beach getaway! We will definitely be back.

Compact with all you need
The condo was comfortable, easy walk to the beach, nice size pool for swimming. Condo had all I could need for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer, wi fi and TV. I was very comfortable.

We were very happy with this condo, which was about 2 blocks to the beach. It was January and a little cool this year so there were no water sports but we walked the beach several times in a light jacket but bare feet. The condo was very clean and has a kitchen full of whatever you need for cooking. We sat out on the little balcony a few times, and there is a nice gym which we used. The owners were very easy to work with.

Nice condo close to the beach
Condo was all that we expected. Clean with comfortable bed; was plenty of room for myself and my two daughters. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker and even a blender! Appreciated the electronic door lock which meant not having to carry around an extra key. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Exactly as advertised
My wife and I spent 3 nights and found the unit to be exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable with tasteful furnishings. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues related to noise from any of the surrounding units. During the nights the complex was very quiet even during a holiday weekend. We took advantage of the unit being within easy walking distance to the beach. We found the location to be centrally located given that our adventures took us south to the Padre National Park visitor center and north to Clem's Marina for a day of fishing. All in all a great, relaxing weekend.

Good place to camp out for a while
Really enjoyed our two-week stay at the condo . The facility is as advertised and completely cleaned and ready to go when we arrived . Really enjoyed the Padre Island area with the condo as a homebase . Owners are friendly and very accommodating and easy to work with. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi was not up and running . Other than that everything was just fine . Great place for a senior couple .

nice updated condo with a couple of issues
We stayed in the "Turtle A" condo for 4 nights and 5 days in July of 2016
Pros:
-NIcely decorated and updated
-Cot and bedding for 5th person
-Located close to a public beach
-Nice complex that included pool, sauna and fitness room
Cons:
-Squeaky master mattress (my husband and I are both under 160 and it squeaked every time we turned over/moved around) Thankfully we both had ear plugs so it ended up not bothering us. Also, the master is pretty bright and night because of the complex lights, so bring an eye mask.
-The cable reception was really bad on the main TV (very fuzzy and unable to get some channels). We emailed the owner and received no response. Thankfully we had brought a bunch of movies for the kids.
Padre Island National Seashore was one of our favorite spots to visit. Doc's Seafood and Steak restaurant and had good service and decent food. They even have a lot of Gluten Free options!

Fantastic property!
We will definitely try to stay here the next time ! This home is well appointed, comfortably decorated and stocked with everything we needed. The owners have thought of everything including a listing of restaurants and attractions in the area with notes on their favorites. The property is conveniently located near many attractions as well as walking distance to the beach. We had a great stay!

Perfect place to relax and get away from the MN. winter
The condo was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals when we ate in. There were plenty of towels and linens with extra pillows. DVD player was nice and we were able to rent from 2 different red box sites within walking distance.The owners were VERY helpful with restaurant suggestions, nearby yoga and pilates gym and area attractions. The beach was just a block away and no need to hassle with a car and parking. The complex was nice with heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of chairs to lounge on by the pool. We used the workout room that was available at the club house. There wasn't enough space between the assigned parking spots for the unit. ( only because my husband has a new car and didn't want any door dings.) We had no trouble parking a few steps away in the "open" area where the lot was usually empty. I think it is the construction of the building, but we could hear the people the floor above us as they "walked" around.(but we talked to the lady downstairs and she said she could hear us also) We never heard voices, tv, music or their dogs. Maybe we all just have "heavy feet" We felt very safe in the area and walked or biked to a lot of places. All in all, it was a very welcoming community and city. The owners very flexible in letting us check in a few days early and allowing us to stay a few days longer. We would certainly stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you!!!!!!

Turtle Nest A Loved it!
We booked 12 nights in the nest and loved every minute of it. It was perfect for the 2 of us.
The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was just right, loved the fishing and location. It's a lovely place to visit and look forward to returning again some day!!

the great beach condo!!
Had a great weekend! Condo was close to everything we needed to get to. Our host was very welcoming and easily able to get in contact with through texting. He was also very generous and allowed us to have a later check out on Sunday which we appreciated.

Our host was very accommodating with all my questions. He replied back very quickly with any concerns or questions. Even on the day of our arrival, he was available by text for our needs. Short stay in a nice place!
We enjoyed a short stay at Turtle A...SOOOO clean and we had all we needed in the condo. The pool was super clean and the beach is definitely walkable but also easy to take a car with cooler etc. for the day and pull right up on there with a beach permit. There is quite a bit to do upon check out, and that was the only drawback, but I am sure it helps with the new guests coming in. Thanks for sharing your home on VRBO

The Condo and property is very nice. It's a short walk or for us with kids, drive to the beach. The beach is fabulous. You can park right on the beach so problem with lugging cooler's, toys, etc. Back in right up to where you want to be for the day. Port Aransas is a short drive away down the island road. My husband and I had some friends what the kids and we took a short 4 hour fishing trip with Dock Dolphin's in Port A, I highly recommend it. If you can do a longer than 4 hour trip, do it!!!! We caught Shark and King Fish. Great Fun!!!!
The renter's are very easy and efficient to communicate with. The price is well worth it. I would rent from the owners again, when my husband and I come down by ourselves next time.
Would have been 5 stars but the only downfall for us is we have small children, one who is very ADHD with sensory processing disorder so bounces around a lot, and the downstairs neighbor is a grumpy old man who must not like kids because he complained about them moving around upstairs and being loud, his words "there's a lot of ruckus up there". Maybe he needs to swap and have an upstairs condo if he doesn't want to hear movement.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo so very much. It was the perfect getaway for our 37th wedding anniversary. Perfect size and perfect location. Nicely decorated, comfy furniture, great kitchen, and a lovely patio balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or tea on.

island and it didn't disappoint although it was fairly calm on the day we arrived.We found ourselves going
to Corpus Christi for really great dining options,etc.Just a suggestion for a facilities upgrade-soft water

This condo is newly renovated in a very well done and expert fashion. It is very comfortable -- furnishings, decor, amenities -- all are top notch! And, very clean and well-maintained! The owners have created a very warm, hospitable lodging not far from the beach and other attractions in Corpus Christi and Padre Island. They have provided a very handy information binder listing just about everything there is to see and do in the area -- attractions (e.g., we enjoyed the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington), entertainment, restaurants (don't miss JB's German Bakery & Cafe not far away), nature reserves (e.g., Padre Island National Seashore, Port Aransas Birding Center), South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center (naturalist Billy Feamster provides a wealth of knowledge), many beaches, activities, scenic drives, etc. In addition, the Club Fitness Center, a few steps away, to which guests have use privileges is superb! We are appreciative of the owners responding to our questions and requests prior to booking, and making our stay at Padre Island such a pleasant one!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at OSPREY NEST for our tenth wedding anniversary. What a great place to stay while on Padre. It is close to the beach and with short driving distance to nice restaurants on the island. It is also a short drive back to Corpus for an even greater selection of restaurants. What we liked best about the condo is that it has everything imaginable for the kitchen. The tile floors really give the place a sparkle. The owner has done a great job in making the place feel like home. The only problem that I had was Internet access.. The neighbors in the other condos were very friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this cute condo within walking distance of Whitecap Beach. The condo looks exactly like the pictures--it was clean, pleasant and comfortable. Our balcony overlooked the pond and one of several onsite grilling areas. The complex has a nice hot tub as well. We would definitely consider staying again at this great place!

Thank you for letting us rent your condo. We have rented several condos before but yours is one of the cleanest. Decor is great and can see you put alot of effort into the decorating. Bed is comfortable. Location is really convenient just hop over to beach and within minutes of food and shopping. We cant wait to come back again.
