We stay at Lively every time we go to the beach to surf at JP Luby. It’s the only building in the area, never crowded, and feels like home. The grounds are clean, the rooms have everything we need and are tastefully furnished. If we could buy into a membership or a timeshare here, we would!

We had a great visit to Lively Beach. The location was awesome and felt very private. It was an easy walk over the boardwalk to the public beach. It was also a short drive to restaurants, CVS, gas stations and Starbucks. The place had more amenities (oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and enough counter space) than we were expecting. The place was clean and the property was quiet. Our only negative was the air conditioning ran continuously the entire time and it was loud. We could adjust the temperature for comfort easily enough, but it never stopped running. The rooftop decks were great. Lots of seating and tables to eat and watch the sunrise and sunset. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Corpus Christi.

The condo looked amazing in pictures, but fell short in reality. The metal entry door was rusty, the coffee maker was broken and their was a cockroach crawling around the dishwasher. There was a full kitchen,but nowhere to eat. The condo description said "partial sea view, but there was nothing in sight but a parking lot which we got a good look at because there wasn't any blackout blinds. The $80 dollars of extra fees didn't make the experience better. If you're still thinking of renting a lively condo, think again!

This was a great stay. My only complaint was that the AC was hardly working. It’s august in Texas it’s HOT, we put the AC as low as it would go (61°F) and it never cooled the unit. It was warm all night which made the stay not as nice as it could have been. The property and amenities were otherwise amazing!

The condo was decorated nicely and was very clean. The AC worked great! The pool is wonderful! Very clean, warm in evening and refreshing during the day. Lots of lounge chairs and some shaded seating areas. The walk to the beach is nice on the boardwalk. Watch out for mosquitoes in the evening after dusk. Bring spray or febreeze. It repels them.

Not enough time considering how much we paid. Check in at 4 and out at 10 is ridiculous! No shampoo or conditioner provided. Only a small amount of body wash. The pool was nice, though and our room was quiet. It needs a sofa, though - preferably a pull out sofa so our grandchildren could sleep over with us.

Loved our stay here, only wish we would have stayed longer. 2 nights and 3 days. Everything was excellent, great location. We stayed in the building where the pool was which was great because we enjoyed going to the pool after the beach. Beach was amazing walking distance. Such a relaxing and secure place. Can’t wait to go back! One thing I would recommend to Lively Beach Staff is to refill the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Otherwise, such an amazing stay!

We have been coming here for past 4 summers. As I should expect some “ware and tare”, between this year and previous year it took a big dip in quality. Room wasnt cleaned before us arriving, soaps were missing. Pest control got scheduled for Saturday evening so we coulnd enjoy outdoor sitting. Tenants were leaving trash outside that would sit there for days. Swimming pool was full of people swimming in regular clothes! Not only kids but adults as well. Will give it another chance next year but if it doesnt improve we will look to book our stays elsewhere.

The fact that the beach is a drive on beach was not disclosed. While the resort is really beautiful and clean the beach is just awful. There were so many people with lots of on sand traffic making it very unsafe for families. I paid to stay at the beach but sadly spent most of my time at the pool.

The condo was new, clean and bright. It had just been cleaned, so it smelled like lemons. The staff was very friendly and kind. They were always smiling and happy. Beach access was possible via private boardwalk. We were new to the beach scene, so we found that it was actually easier to drive our vehicle to the shoreline. Be advised that you do need a beach permit for the JP Luby Beach if you drive your vehicle onto the beach. You can get these by visiting the Stripes nearby. We would definitely consider staying here again for our next beach trip.

This is our second time at this property. The first time we were wowed that’s why we decided to bring the family. The room was clean but it felt incomplete. The restroom in the bedroom did not have hand soap nor extra toilet paper. The other restroom didn’t have hand soap either. One pull out couch has a comforter set the other didn’t. We gave them Our blanket since they didn’t have one. We left a day early due to the storm that hit and asked about a refund for the day we didn’t stay and have yet to hear anything.
