This is an ocean front condo on the second level. Sleep in our Select Comfort king size bed with an ocean view and sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep. Watch the hummingbirds frolicking on our deck. New flat screen smart TV and Bose sound system. Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker. Sleeps two more on our queen size sofa bed. There is room for six at our dining room table with an additional leaf. Fully furnished, including all linens and towels. It situated half-way between Monterey and Santa Cruz in a gated community.

Perfect place for a relaxing beachfront respite. It rained part of time we were there, but we still enjoyed our stay. Walked miles on the hardpacked sand beach, read books and enjoyed the great collection of DVDs , while the electric fireplace kept us warm. Had a lovely Mexican lunch at nearby Moss Landing. A good collection of local travel guides list numerous adventures to be had within a few miles of this lovely hideawsy. We will return!

I stayed there for a personal retreat and it could not have been more relaxing and comfortable. She was a generous host in providing Peet’s coffee, condiments and making sure everything was clean and comfortable ( loved the sleep number bed). You have an unobstructed view of the ocean and can walk right out to a beautiful beach. Truly wonderful!

Beautiful waterfront location! Direct unobstructed ocean views. Small but open floor plan, good for the 2 of us. Updated nicely. Older complex but nicely kept up. Very quiet when we were there. We felt safe as this is a gated complex. You do need a car, this is not a walkable community. The closest area is Watsonville, which is very agricultural and industrial. Not a lot of good dining or activities in Watsonville that we could find. But it is in between Santa Cruz and Monterey, so close to the more touristy things there. We did mostly “natural” activities-went for hikes in the redwoods, a whale watching tour (the Sea Goddess- excellent!), drove down Highway 1 to Big Sur area. The airplane/helicopter rides from Specialized Aviation out of the Watsonville Airport was fun. Highly recommend this condo for the views, comfort, updated kitchen (it was also stocked nicely), quiet setting, and outside (small) deck with hummingbird feeders. Thank you!

From the minute we walked in we loved the condo. The view is just beautiful. The condo was nicely decorated with all the beautiful blue accessories. This unit was the most equipped VRBO we have stayed at. Kitchen has everything you need. Abundance of nice thick towels, bath and beach. Beachchairs provided. We loved sitting on the balcony - we saw dolphins and thoroughly enjoyed the hummingbirds. We also enjoyed walking not only the beach, but also the lake on property. Lovely stay.

This property was amazing. I loved the views from the windows and balcony which are even better than advertised. The location was perfect to visit Santa Cruz in one direction or to head to Big Sur in the other direction. As a solo female traveling, I felt very safe. The host was amazing and easy to communicate with. And I loved the small town feel that Watsonville offers. I would highly recommend and would certainly return.

There is nothing that could have made our stay any better other than more days! Well appointed home with every amenity one could ask for! We even found Aloe Vera for my husband’s sunburn! The bed is like heaven. View amazing! Hummingbirds a delight!

This was our first time visiting Pajaro Dunes and we had such a great time. The location and view are everything, being right on the beach was so nice to come back and forth with a toddler as needed. Its really not a crowded place at all which we loved. Debbie was such a great host and her condo had everything we needed. We hope to visit again soon!

I kept thinking of Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s book—this place was a gift and lives up to the “magical” title. Debbie was a generous, gracious host, from the communications before and afterwards, to having everything you’d want. The tvs were barely used. Instead, I spent hours walking on the beach since access was so easy or sitting on the balcony with my new hummingbird friends. The resort community has a great commitment to sustainability and honoring the wildlife around—the trail and markers around the slough were great. I’d love to make this an annual stay!

My husband and I stayed here in the past so this time we had my parents stay here and we stayed in the condo above it. My parents hadn't been anywhere since before the pandemic and were looking forward to being on the beach. They absolutely loved this beautiful condo and are eager to come back again! The condo is facing the shoreline so you will have the peaceful sounds of the tide relaxing you throughout your stay. The king-sized bed is extremely comfortable and warm. Shower has both a large stationary head and a handheld head (not quite as good water pressure) and is very roomy and senior friendly. We never once had to turn the heat on during our stay. The property is cute and perfect for a relaxing couple's weekend. Debbie is a wonderful hostess and we are already thinking about coming back again.

We loved every minute of staying at Debbie‘s place. Being so close to the water, hearing the waves crash all hours of the day, having the hummingbirds fly around you while you sit on the porch, it was just magical! The condo was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. She provided lots of food items in the kitchen and plenty of other items like shampoo and soap, extra toilet paper and paper towels. There were lots of beach items and sunscreen. We will definitely be back!!!

This has been our fourth vacation here, and we love it. The view is magical, hearing the waves at night very soothing, and watching the hummingbirds is always fun. The property is well-maintained and the hosts are very friendly and responsive. We'll be back!

Debbie and David spared no effort to fully appoint and prepare their magnificent home for our delightful one-week stay. Amazing layout, spacious and comfortable, with extraordinary and multiple views (and sounds!) of the Pacific, great bed, awesome shower, kitchen with everything one could need--security is solid and warmly welcoming. And the location can't be beat--private/quiet enough for relaxing, reading, reflecting, wandering the beach, and within 15-30 minutes of incredible Redwoods (old growth, meaning over 500 year old giants) hikes, Big Sur coastal walks, great dining and shopping (Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel by the Sea. Couldn't have been better!

My sister and I stayed for five days in early December and loved the peace and tranquility. The view from the windows and patio is incredible with the waves rolling in behind the dunes. The hummingbirds were constant during daylight hours and lovely to watch too. The condo was very well stocked and the sleep number bed was very comfortable. Location was great to Monterey, Big Sur, Pebble Beach, etc. We would love to come back when it’s warmer so we can sleep with the doors open to hear the waves crashing in.

The views are gorgeous. What I loved most was that there’s a feeling of home & generosity. A lot of thoughtfulness is reflected in the right kind of hooks being in the right place, little tables that are easily moved just where you need them. Lovely dinnerware & glassware, & surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. It was a wonderful surprise to discover the bed is a Sleep Number bed which made all the difference in sleeping well. Thank you!

Had the best time at Pajaro Dunes. Views of the ocean from our Condo, completely furnished, well stocked kitchen, comfortable king size bed clean and comfortable. Gorgeous beach, walk for miles, birds galore, sand dollars, and so many porpises! Did not want to leave and will definitely be back. Best time!

We have stayed multiple times at this lovely condo. It's clean, well equipped, comfortable. Debbie is the best! Of course the view! And hummingbirds. You can walk out the door and down a few steps and walk for miles or just sit and take in the ocean, breeze, birds, dolphins. Definitely a 'magical place'! Can't wait to return. L&M 😊🏖️🌻

This property made our whole 3 day trip so great~ from the Oceanview to the homey feeling and steps to sit on the beach, the firepits, great restaurants and to be able to see so many whales breaching why sitting on the sand was incredible! Definitely will be returning!

This was the first vacation we took since our house remodel began four months ago. We found the condo freshly appointed, clean and supremely comfortable for two of us. The location overlooking the beach cannot be beat. We exchanged the sound of power tools and constant hammering for ocean waves and slept soundly. We plan to book again - thank you!

I’ve been staying in this Shorebirds condo for the past couple of years and keep coming back because of the views and thoughtful owners. I live just diwn the coast in Monterey, but not on the ocean so this is an easy retreat to escape to. This trip we had a great rain storm and it was beautiful. I feel restored. I’ll be back.

We have stayed at Magical place by the sea many times. So many times we have lost count 6, 7 8? We're not sure. What we are sure about is the lovely setting. We walked the beach, laughed at the hummingbirds and we truly relaxed. Thank you again Debbie and David for sharing your home with us. We hope to stay again!
