About this house rental
Beautiful Southwestern style home with wooden corbels and vigas in the entrance and throughout the home. A stone waterfall greets you as you drive up to the cul du sac. Not your normal vacation rental. All high-end unique furnishings throughout and many amenities for your vacation/corporate/retreat/research/wedding/Family Reunion enjoyment. Complete with a beautiful bar fully stocked with all size glasses, shakers, wine opener, and marble top and cutting boards. Not 1 but 2 special Cal King bedrooms with pillow top mattresses; master bedroom has 40 inch HDTV with cable TV. Master bath has separate huge tiled and glass shower room enough for 2; separate deep jetted spa tub, huge walk in closet, and private room for the loo.
Other King Cal bedroom has beautiful bedroom that has French doors that open to the patio, giving it a 'private' feel, Bedroom has unique furniture, built in lighting on both headboard and bureau. Cedar or felt lined drawers and push button hiding nooks built into the furniture to hide precious items away from view. Other beautiful bedroom has pillow top Queen Bed with private full bath complete with lovely skylights in the Kokopeli motif. Unique 4th bedroom with Pulaski bunk bed (2 twin beds) and full-size twin mattresses, complete with 40 inch HDTV & cable TV; high speed wireless internet and desk to keep younger (or older) visitors content. Queen sleeper sofa in the living room should you require additional sleeping accommodations. For the little guest a top-of-the-line Graco portable crib/stroller/bassinet complete with sheets and blankets. Crib has electric rocking motion, and soothing audio sounds to help the little one fall off to sleep. Additional twin fold out beds are also available to accommodate a larger occupancy. Lovely, gated yard and gated in-ground heated pool (heating requires additional fee), Hot Springs Jacuzzi with room for 6. Lovely southwestern style tiled patio with dining table that accommodates 8. Outside lounge set that seat 5, bar with 4 high top chairs, propane gas Brickman barbeque with smoker (2 tanks provided). Lighted Pool with water fountain, lounge chairs, bistro set, large umbrellas, side tables, and large lavish pool towels and not to mention a gorgeous view of the Organ Mountains from the pool. Should you prefer relaxing inside, sit comfortably in the Great Room in front of the huge entertainment center watching the 55-inch HDTV with cable TV. Or, use the PlayStation 3 and the video games located in the entertainment center, or watch a DVD movie left for your enjoyment. Turn on the Sony stereo and listen to some of your favorite CD's or attach your Mp3. Relax in the living room on the S shaped lounger reading a good book or having a relaxing nap before your afternoon round of golf at the golf club across the street. The Good: This place is really nice in the pictures and in overall appearance. We enjoyed the pool and the large living spaces with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The furnishings are nice and the home is well stocked. The property manager is very attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The bad: Unfortunately, the internet is slow (2-4mb), and the owner locks up the thermostats so that you have zero control over the climate. The property manager was kind enough to change the settings for us remotely but the bedrooms are very warm while the living spaces stayed extremely cold. The master bed was nice but most of the other beds were not very comfortable. Our teens opted to sleep on the couches. The Ugly: The worst part of our experience was arriving to a dirty house. The housekeepers forgot to clean the place before our arrival so we had to wait for them to make the beds, remove the trash, clean the bathrooms, etc before we could settle in for the evening. The manager again was very responsive and had them come back to clean but it definitely started our trip off on the wrong footing. Overall, I'd say this place just needs a little more TLC from the owner, upgrade the internet, free up the thermostats, and invest in a few good mattresses and we would have given it a much higher rating. We don't appreciate not being trusted to control our own climate - that was a HUGE aggravation.

This house is so beautiful and fully stocked. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes and this one truly makes you feel at home. The owner and the property manager were extremely helpful and if there were any concerns addressed them promptly. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a nice getaway. I would love to rent this house again for a birthday party or another family gathering.

We were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the pool. It was not due to wind or weather. The property manager was not responding to my calls. The owner did respond, but the pool was not properly cleaned when requested.

Very spacious house. Check in was easy. Furniture was dated but comfortable.
Disappointed that the temperature was controlled by manager off site hence the living room was freezing cold while the bedrooms were like a sauna during the day. Somewhat cooler at night.
Advertized with a swimming pool but water was cold. Manager stated they needed 24 hour prior notice to use pool and there would be added fees.
Owner very receptive to inquiries but lives in Florida and depends on local manager who is not always available.

This house is spacious with plenty of room to visit and relax. The kitchen and dining room have everything you need to entertain and the back porch has several seating options. The property has an outdoor grill if you want to cook on the back porch and the host even supplies the propane. Thank you Constance, we enjoyed your home.

Our family converged from Ohio, Tampa, and Gallup New Mexico; 9 people total. The home was spacious, beds and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside on back patio. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and tools for meals.
The property manager was attentive and answered questions quickly. Neighborhood is quiet with well manicured and beautiful homes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made wonderful family memories.

This was a Big Group Trip. We Stayed 4 days at this Amazing Home. It came with EVERYTHING we needed. Very Spacious Home. Plenty of Space to Lounge & Relax. The Outdoor Amenities were OMG! It’s probably the ONLY HOME IN LAS CRUCES, that comes with Not 1 but 2 different types of Water Spots. This Home comes with a HOT TUB & a PRIVATE POOL!
We enjoyed both of these amenities. The Hot Tub relaxes your Muscles in your back with the Power Jets at a Temperature of 110 degrees C. Water was VERY HOT & COMFORTABLE.
The Pool was equally Amazing. Great Spot to put your feet in the water, or take a Dip in. The Fountain in the Pool might be clogged up & doesn’t come out as smooth as it should, but it can probably be unclogged to pour out with little maintenance.
Just Wished the Table on Top of the Pool Deck was Upgraded a little bit & the Chairs up their were Slighty more Comfortable. The Rusted Metal Chairs were a slight eye sore, but not a Big Deal. If the Table Set Up had a Huge Umbrella to Cover some Shade for people sitting at the Table, that would have been the Best Place to Relax by the Pool.
Property was Completely Clean inside & Outdoors. When we Arrived, the Pool Boy was Cleaning the Pool with Fresh Products & Fresh Chlorine. That was just extra nice to see that the Home Owner takes pride in making sure that your stay at her Home is NOT AVERAGE, but TOP OF THE LINE. The Views from this Home were Breath Taking. We took tons of Pictures In the Pool & Patio Area. 10/10

The house was so spacious and grand! We had a wonderful stay. The view of the Organ Mountains was spectacular! And we had some cute bunnies visit while out on the patio. The beds are so comfortable and having two rooms with en suites was great!

We really enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful property. We were in town for our college students orientation, and enjoyed the convenience near the highway and multiple stores and places to eat nearby.
The rooms are large with nice beds, and out toddler really liked the kids room.
The swimming pool was great and the elevated swim decks in the pool were great for the toddler. Televisions and DISH network all worked well. Overall great stay and would visit the property again when we return to Las Cruces.

We were told there was a play station for the kids. It didn't work. When we called the manager, she said she didn't have any idea on how to fix it and didn't recommend anything. There were several pieces missing on the game table. Also, we found many ants in the master bath.

This was a wonderful home to host our son’s college graduation party. Everything was labeled so there was no question where to find anything in the kitchen. The house was very clean and comfortable. The property was very nice. I don't expect perfection. The hot tub didn't work and by the time I realized jets weren't working, we had no access to the pool guy who maintains. The refrigerator didn't seem to cool as well as we would've liked, so we bought a cooler and added ice for drinks. The stove seemed to release more than the usual of gas smell -- but all in all none of that was too big a deal.
What is a bigger deal is being accused of things before owner makes contact with us to clarify some things. We were told we left a "houseful of kids unsupervised" which we did not. Twice, my husband and I had to leave for a dinner with fiance's parents and rehearsal, but there were multiple adults on site - I have other adult children and also Grandma, Grandpa and a couple uncles one night. I overlooked the no-smoking rule (my bad - assumed you could smoke outside) - but was accused of smoking inside which no one did. I wished the communication would have been more adult-like and respectful. I also admitted to having put dish soap mistakenly in the dishwasher and strangely, it completely sent the new dishwasher into error mode which could not be fixed without a repairman. ?? Fine - not complaining for repair bill on that even though that particular mistake has happened in my own home many times over the years and it never caused a breakdown, just a mess.
I was told "don't know what your group did to the hot tub, but I received a $260ish bill to repair." I don't either. the jets never worked. My husband noted pillow headrests are missing and unit seems older. We know from having owned one, many issues crop up. Pool guy is supposed to maintain but apparently didn't stop there on Friday when he checked the pool. Once weekend came, was told no repairmen on weekend, sorry. Perhaps the jets do the filtering? It had turned green and smelly by the weekend.
I was told that someone wet on one of the cots but am not positive if that happened. I have a son with a brain injury and neurogenic bladder which isn't usually a problem but if he did, fine, I'll pay for replacement of the thing he ruined.
I was texted twice asking if we were trying to mess with the AC unit which we were not.
We have a large family and learn to roll with things and not complain too much. It was the attitudes of the property manager at times and the final note from the owner that I found most problematic. I would not want to rent again as I just felt like a burden.
