About this cabin rental
This signature Heritage Log home plan features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with huge game room. A wide open great room with stone center fireplace surrounded by fixed glass and a beautiful view of Mt. LeConte. We've had visitors travel over 1,600 miles just to see and experience the craftsmanship and luxury of the Silvercreek. 3 Separate suites with King size beds and a 4th bedroom featuring 2 sets of twin bunk beds for the kids. 6 TV's and DVD Players, Pool Table, Hot Tub, Gas Grill and Air Hockey table are all standard amenities.
Enter on the main level to the great room, there is one suite with king sized bed and the kitchen, dining, and separate laundry room with side by side washer / dryers. Upstairs is a loft sitting and sleeping area with suite and kids bunk room (2 sets of twin bunks).
The lower level is a huge game room with pool table, air hockey, wet bar and sleeper sofa. Another suite with full bath and Jacuzzi tub is also on the lower level.
Originally designed as a 6 bedroom, 2 bedrooms were removed to enable more living space for less guests. This cabin has 3 distinct areas for guests to gather so that someone can always find a quiet place in the cabin.
A desk is available on the main level if you need to work and there is Free Wireless High-Speed Internet included in this cabin.

We had 3 families for a total of 14 people and there was plenty of space. Lots of room to move around each other in the common areas, to be all together in the same space and not on top of each other. Lots of sleeping options for the kids too. Cabin was very clean. My only suggestion would be to take out the “Mountain View” from the description. It is a beautiful wooded view but a very distant mountain is only visible in the far corner of the bocce ball pit area, not from any balcony, window or deck. Maybe some of the other elk springs cabins can see mountains, just not silvercreek. It is still a lovely location though. We also loved the alarms on the gate and door to the pool house.

The cabin was in a great location. We were disappointed in the condition of the cabin. We had several children with us and were looking forward to using the theatre system - it did not work the entire time we were there (we even had a repair person come twice - but could not get it to work). The pool area was great; but the outside decks were dirty and in very poor condition. The pictures showed some nice outside furniture; this was not the case - only had four rocking chairs that were chipped and falling apart. The only seating area in the living room was a sectional - it was falling apart - in horrible condition and very dirty. Many of the bed pillows did not have pillow cases on them - could not find any. The pictures made the property look nicer than it was. There were cobwebs in many places on the inside of the cabin.

We had a group of 11 who stayed in this cabin and we had a great time. We enjoyed the pool and the space made it so we were always gathered together, even when we may be doing different things. Kitchen was great, bedrooms were comfy. We did have maintenance come out to reset the golden tee and the other games, while they did turn on, none of the controls worked and they eventually went dark, seems like they needs some maintenance or new machines altogether. Theater system is great, but there is not cable which is in the instructions but figured I’d call it out. We hooked up laptops and streamed and it worked great.

Overall, nice. The arcade games didn't work. There were no movies for the theater. The basement smelled musty. Not enough trash bags to accommodate 11 people for 3 days. Very little furniture around the deck to accommodate a cabin with this many sleeping arrangements. The washer & dryer are extremely noisy, the shower heads are very low flow and hot water takes forever. The pool however was nice

Silvercreek had a great setup and everyone in our party had space. Kids loved that the game room was downstairs and right by the pool. I loved that the road was paved!! I was a little disappointed with the view, but it was easy to drive into. I loved that it was quiet and we didn't have neighbors on top of us even though we were close together. Would rent again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor issues, but would not prevent us from staying with you again. The sectional couch in living room desperately needs replaced. Very un comfortable. I lost count how many light bulbs were out through out the cabin. Also had issues with arcade games, maintenance came out to take a look. Fixed 1, other had to get part reordered. Next day, 3nd arcade stopped working again, needed maintenance to reset again, didn't even bother messing with as too much of a headache.

First and foremost let me say that this cabin was beautiful, clean and the location was great. I’d give 5 stars but there are some very small things I had “issue” with that I didn’t like. First small issue was the lack of useful items in the cabin. I’ve stayed at multiple Air BnBs where former guest left seasonings in the kitchen, dish detergent, toilet paper etc, but this cabin come with very little items and per the resort’s request, nothing is to be left in the kitchen for the next guest. That leads to purchasing those types of items and then throwing them away once you leave which is just wasteful. I can’t fly with kitchen and bathroom stuff, and whose gonna try to find a local shelter to give it to while on vacation lol. Second small issue was that if you didn’t call for trash service, no one would pick it up. With a cabin that size you’d like to think trash service would come at least once a week but it didn’t. However when I called they came within the hour. I also recommend some sort of recycling bin which would lead to less trash in the cans. Lastly was the pool room. Awesome set up and it was used daily, but b/c the thermostat is secured we couldn’t use the a/c unit which made that room steamy and muggy. Swimming was nice but it was too hot to relax next to the pool. Yes these are minor things but the cabin wasn’t cheap so at that price point I expected the absolute best. Other than those things, this place was awesome and it was close to everything!

The cabin not clean. Fingerprints on all glass doors, coffee grounds still in pot and was moldy, wood on 1 deck was splintered so we didn’t sit or go on that deck, pool had stuff floating on top (like suntan lotion) and was super cold, floors were sticky and the dirt would stick to our feet. Code would not work and waited close to 15 min for someone to call back and cockroaches in the kitchen...

Was a good stay. Kids had a blast with the pool and the game room. The cabin needed a better cleaning. The kitchen was not well stocked with cooking things that we needed to have for cooking. too small no large skillet or cook kettle. But we did have a great time and loved it. The kitchen and main leave bedroom doors need to be fixed. Was very hard to close and lock.

The place was nice. The golden tee arcade did not work at first, the fridge went out first night. Woke up to unfrozen food. Thank goodness it was cold out and we had coolers. They did send someone out to fix the issues just a big inconvenience especially with our food. Would have liked to receive some sort of discount for the troubles but overall a nice place!

Very disappointing. The cabin was not as clean(trash in closet from previous guests) and is not being maintained as advertised. Furniture needs replacing, grill was not useable, broken ice dispenser, broken blinds and broken arcade game. Maintanence came and took pictures but nothing was fixed. There was no squeezee in pool area so no way to clear water from doorway without wading through water. Such a nice property to not be maintained.

This cabin was perfect for a big group. It had 3 floors with bedrooms on each floor and the basement had lots of games for the kids to play and a theatre. The pool room was separate and it had an alarm and a secured gate to get to the pool door which we really liked since we had younger kids.

The cabin was big and spacious. We loved having a bigger pool than most cabins. We loved a big basement with lots of things to do. The movie theater was awesome. The pool was not very clean nor was the cabin. Which was shocking to us because this was my our third year renting a cabin from them. I was really disappointed with the house not being very clean and I had to clean it myself. I didn’t really want to have somebody in there cleaning it with all our stuff in there. When we first got there the games weren’t working the movie theater screen wasn’t working. They did send somebody right out and they got that fixed. The ice maker didn’t work. The Mountain View was also disappointing.

Overall we had a great family vacation! I do have some recommendations for Silvercreek for future guests. We found out the hard way that the floors become EXTREMELY slippery when wet. Both my father and my daughter slipped and fell down the stairs. My father was ok, thankfully but my daughter dislocated her knee and earned herself an ambulance ride and 4 hour stay at the local hospital ER to reset it. I would recommend some doormats to wipe feet when coming in from the decks after using the pool or even when it’s raining outside. There should be warnings that the floors are slippery and shoes should be worn at all times inside the house. I would also recommend somewhere to hand wet swim suits to dry. Absolutely fantastic experience. The unit was clean and spacious. We had a group of 18 adults and never once did we feel crowded. There were things to do in this unit everywhere you looked - the game room's theater seats are such a nice, unique touch that made it easy for our group to play games/watch shows together.
There were three fridges so we didn't have to worry about storage space for food or drinks. The pool room was well maintained and a perfect size. I loved that it had a bathroom/changing room in it so that we didn't need to walk back inside every time.
Only complaint is that there were not nearly enough trash cans in the unit (only small trash in the bathrooms and one in the kitchen - nothing in the pool room or the game room). A centralized bathroom would have been nice as well but our group made due without it. During our stay, the hot tub was not functioning but again, we made due without it.
All in all, I would say this unit far exceeded my expectations. It is actually much larger and more spacious in person than it appears in the photos. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Overall, our experience at the cabin was disappointing. The description and pictures were very misleading compared to what we walked into. First of all, there are no Mountain Views from any part of this property. You are living on a mountain, but the cabin is surrounded by trees on every side. While the pictures were “accurate”, there has been a significant lack of upkeep- the deck and rocking chairs were covered in bugs and spider webs and are heavily used/run down. The arcade games did not work. The pool was filthy with cloudy water. There was no picnic table on the deck as advertised and the property was infested with centipedes on the lower and main levels. The stocked kitchen lacked large enough pots/pans for a group of 15, so I would recommend bringing your own if you stay here. I wouldn’t say the property was dirty, but it definitely wasn’t clean. I will say that the customer service was very good and professional. Our garbage was picked up promptly each day, and they did send a serviceman out for the pool when we called. Additionally, the location is very close to the downtown area.
