My husband, me, , brother, and sister-in-law stayed for 6 nights at this 2 bedroom villa on St John. We rented a jeep and had a marvelous time going to different beaches and restaurants. The villa is very nice - comfortable beds, great kitchen and grill, wonderful deck with a great view, and a nice pool and hot tub. Beach towels, chairs, and coolers are included. James is a wonderful host and everything worked very well. One note - the living room furniture should definitely be replaced- not very comfortable. But otherwise a great experience!

The property was perfect my husband and I and our children. The deck was wonderful for eating dinner together and enjoying the beautiful view. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and coolers that were available as we spend many days at the beach. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub. James was super helpful and even accommodated early check in for us. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was amazing! James was great and responsive and do what expected and beyond. He even facilitate us with a pressure washing machine to clean the mud in our Jeeps! Great view and everything you need to take your dream vacation! Highly recommended!

Overall, we had a great stay. Pros- Fantastic location Great view Fully stocked kitchen for cooking Plenty of towels for the beach with laundry detergent on site. Good value for money Cons- Didn’t get check in instructions until 6hrs before check-in Furniture and decor outdated Pool area and hot tub needed cleaning Cat on the grounds (outside) but cat spray could be smelled in various areas. Every time my kids went in and out the cat would try and run inside. On a side note, I had an issue I needed addressed after arrival. I reached out to the host via the VRBO messenger app. He was extremely upset I didn’t text him directly and was unprofessional. He proceeded to tell me it was impossible I smelt urine. Twenty years in healthcare and 10 years giving anesthesia, i”m fairly positive how urine smells. I would not stay here again.

From meeting us at the ferry to checkout, James could not have been a better host! He answered any questions we had about the island, provided us with beach chairs, umbrella, nice beach blankets/towels, and coolers. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials plus the washer/dryer and detergent was so convenient! TV setup for all the streaming you’d need. The property is amazing!! We stayed in the upper unit. Very easy to get to. None of the steep stairs or steep parking to navigate which was important to us due to a recent back injury. VERY convenient to Cruz Bay, grocery, pharmacy, gas, etc. Being 1st timers location was top priority, but hoping to still feel private, and James’ property was perfect!! I didn’t once see a neighbor. We did see hummingbirds, iguana, lizards, and the house cat - Magpie, who we absolutely adored. I took a walk daily down the road to soak in the foliage and stunning views. I could go on and on!! This property meet every single need we had and more! As first timers it’s location was perfect and super easy to access everything. And when we return to paradise, we all agree it will be to Rendezvous!

We visit St John multiple times a year. We have stayed in a lot of places but this by far was the best. James was super repsonsive to us on the get go. The house was exactly as described. Things that are super important to us was a king size bed in the master... was so comfortable, blackout drapes in the master was a plus, AC in the master bedroom was amazing and we actually got cold and had to turn it down, dual masters (second one had a queen bed and own A/C) house was fully equipped with all the essentials and then some. Shampoo, sopa, trash bages, coffee filters, lots of chairs, coolers, beach towels, snorkel masks, fully size laundry, the views were so great and love the west facing balcony for breakfast, lunch and loungin on the deck watching the sunset. it makes all the difference having a west facing so you can actaully enjoy your deck and not be burning up from the sunrise, also keeps the deck cooler. BBQ was a nice touch. TV had all of the channels you need to relax at night. Super close to downtown areas and easy jaunt over the hill to coral bay. WE loved our stay here of all of our places and there have been a lot to compare too. As I write this we are sititng at our next place (New Moon) in upper Carolina and it does not compare. We are booking our next trip already and we will be staying with James again. He is a super sweet person and a super host.

We had an amazing week! The property was better than the pics! James went above and beyond! We can’t wait to come back!

James was a great host. Unfortunately on the first night we had no water due to an plumbing issue…there was water working in other unit and we were able to use that since it was not rented that night. James got a plumber had it working by 8:30 the next morning. Beautiful views and was as advertised…some of furnishings were a bit ‘weathered’ but overall we had a fantastic time and would stay there again.

Great view, quiet neighborhood, clean with everything we needed for our vacation. James hit it on the mark. Can't wait to return.

Excellent place to stay in St. John

Our family really enjoyed our short stay at this property.

The property was clean and exactly as advertised. We had a great stay. We enjoyed grilling while watching the sunset. We would return to this property if we come back to the island. James was very knowledgeable and responsive.

The day of our arrival James messaged and offered to meet us at the ferry to lead us to the Villa. We found this helpful as he also went through where everything was and how to operate the air conditioning, etc. The very first night a portion of the island had a power outage, but James had a cabinet stocked with candles, flashlights and a couple of games so our family played Uno and just talked for 4 hours until power was restored. We experienced power outages twice more during our stay but for shorter periods of time while the power company made repairs to their power stations. The Villa has great air conditioning units in the main living room and bedrooms along with excellent beds and bedding so we slept great after long days snorkeling at the amazing St. John beaches. The sofa and loveseat were well worn and honestly quite uncomfortable. They need to be replaced but it wasn't a deal breaker since the beds more than made up for it. We prepared a couple of meals at home on the grill and ate on the covered deck while watching the sun set. We spent mornings sitting outside watching passing rain showers and drinking coffee while watching boats on the water. There were also beach chairs, towels and a cooler for us to use on our daily beach excursions, which we really appreciated and could not have done without. We had a fantastic time on St. John and hope to return for a stay at the Villa in the future.

The one and only comment I have (and my husband disagrees) is that it’s located right next to two treacherous bends in the road so you get occasional screeching and honking. That said, we’d come back, it’s in a convenient location, amazing view, super comfy and we really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands, and it was for our honeymoon. James was amazing. He picked us up from the ferry and answered all our questions. We rented a car from him which made life a lot easier. The place was very clean and provided everything you need for the beaches (coolers, towels, beach chairs, sunscreen, bug spray) our stay was so great we plan on coming back and we will always stay at James. Beautiful apartment that felt private despite other VRBO guests! The place was spacious and clean, with every amenity you could think of! Perfect four, good for six if people don’t mind air mattresses! The pool and perfect were perfect for apres beach

This was an amazing property! This was the perfect setup for our group. There were 2 couples that stayed in the upstairs of the home. It was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. The patio was spectacular and was the perfect setting for watching the sunset at night and looking out over the hills and ocean with our morning coffee. There were beach chairs, towels and everything we needed for our daily outings. I cannot say enough good things about the host and this property. Absolutely perfect!

We loved every minute here. The view was breathtaking overlooking the ocean and hills. The place is nestled back in true paradise with so much privacy and serenity. The private pool with the hot tub was the perfect place to hang out together. We couldn’t get enough of the porch, which is incredible for breakfast views and game night ambiance. We never wanted to leave. We couldn’t recommend this place more, and James was an excellent host who did everything to make our stay perfect.

If you like to sit out on the porch and relax, this house is the one! Well equipped and we LOVED that each bedroom had it's own private bathroom!

James’ top floor villa was more than spacious for a girls’ long weekend with a GREAT balcony patio overlooking St Thomas and awesome pool. A/C in all rooms was comfy. Perfect location with Jeep rental to beaches and hiking.

Perfect view from. The terrace balcony. Love watching the sun go down after and adventurous day. I brought my grown son, we enjoyed the car and also the location. So close to town. But just far enough away.

James is by far one of the best hosts I’ve encountered and I’m a frequent user of VRBO/Abnb. We were already in St. John and needed one extra night, last minute. I booked the unit the night before. We had to be out of our unit at 10:00 a.m. James met us in Cruz Bay (he was dropping guests at the ferry) and he had us checked in and ready to hit the beach by 11:00! We loved the property. It was clean, had everything you would need for a great vacation. We slept in the room with king bed. Comfy bed and the linens were very soft?. It turned out we were the only guests on property, so we enjoyed an evening swim and gazed at the stars and lights of St. Thomas. We had stayed in Cruz Bay thinking we would enjoy being within walking distance to restaurants. We are so grateful that we got to spend our last night on the island in such a peaceful place. It was very easy to get to from Cruz Bay. A couple of tips. Cool Breeze Jeep rentals were great! They did daily rentals and they are located directly across from the ferry terminal from Crown Bay. That is tip #2. If coming from the airport use that ferry!! It’s pretty much a shuttle to the airport. We were a $10 each taxi ride to the air pry which was about 5 minutes from the Crown Bay terminal. Last tip go to Starfish market. Great selection and prices seemed better than other places. Bottomline, things are expensive on the island. I recommend bringing some staples with you, coffee, peanut butter….. Go to Maho Bay to see turtles! This home would be the perfect base for your St. John adventure!
