“Edgewater Retreat” the perfect lake retreat! Beautifully furnished lakefront home meticulously with breathtaking lake views from most rooms. Private dock with a large swim and sun deck, complete with 1 covered boat slips( 10' x 25) and 1 PWC lift available for renters. Dock has newly installed cruiser cushions around the whole exterior perimeter for extra docking. Located where you won’t fight rough water created by big boats. Enjoy a safe, children friendly destination with a large flat grassy yard, calm water, with easy access to the lake. Floating Water Mat provided at no additional cost! This Beautiful Lakefront Home Features: Main Level: Entering this quality built home you’ll be impressed with the 25-foot ceilings, lots of glass and a magnificent water view. Wall to wall tile floors with this open floor plan makes the home perfect for entertaining. The fully furnished gourmet kitchen, granite counter tops, hardwood maple cabinetry comes complete with appliances, pots/pans, eating utensils, linens, and a serving and dining bar with seating for 2. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area with a full size table that seats 6, a high top table with seating for 4, and just outside on the patio is additional table with seating for 6. Use the queen size Murphy bed for sleeping additional guests. We had 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. We loved the dock area for our gathering spot and it was a great spot for swimming. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an incredible trip thanks in large part to our beautiful home and hosts. The house had everything we needed and more. The daily fishing was made easier thanks to the two slips on the backyard dock. The home and dock were immaculate. Bass fishing was great with our guide, James Dill, who we heartily recommend. The communication with the hosts was always immediate and always helpful. Barbara and Craig did everything in their power to insure a wonderful time. The four of us agreed we would definitely return to this house for our next trip back!!!

We love this house and location! Being over 60 stairs get a little rough so the path to lake is lovely. Derek is super accommodating. We hope to stay here again!

Loved the dock if your bringing your own boat it’s often hard to find a house with an available dock. Public boat ramp was a short 10 min boat ride / 20 min drive.
In same cove as lake burger which was so convenient.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It’s comfortable, clean, and watching the deer in the front and back yard is a plus.

This place offered the most amazing family time. The lake was peaceful for reading, quiet time, and fishing! Oh the healing and fun time our family of 8 had foe the FIRST time was perfect.
The property manager was accessible and easy to ask questions. He was ready to provide something we asked about but didn't need that outreach.

Our recent stay was nothing short of exceptional. Here are some highlights of our stay that made it a truly remarkable experience:
1. Location:
The property is nestled in a picturesque setting, surrounded by breathtaking views of the lake and countryside. It offered the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, with easy access to local restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, golfing, and the lake. The flat backyard that leads to the boat dock was great for my older mom and dad and my in-laws that stayed. Without that, they wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the water as much as they did. We couldn't have asked for a better location to unwind and explore the area.
2. Comfort and Amenities:
The spacious and tastefully decorated rooms provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventures. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals and the outside grill worked perfectly. The land phone line was perfect too as cell service is not the best and without the ability to use this phone, reservations and such would’ve been a challenge. The wi-fi worked great as well.
3. Cleanliness and Maintenance:
The cleanliness of the property exceeded our expectations. It was evident that the owners took great pride in maintaining the property to the highest standards.
Our experience at this property was simply outstanding. Already looking at dates to return next year.

The roads leading to the house are very nice. Easy access, even with a 34ft boat. Super clean. Dock was very nice. The public dock is not very far away. The property manager is nice, informative, and easy to get ahold of. The bedrooms are nice sized and clean. The property overall is cared for. If I had one request, keyless access to the back slider and more sitting for the fire pit.
We had a great week at this property and would gladly book it again.

The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is how clean this home is! I’ve never seen one cleaner. The flat yard and walk to the dock is rare and certainly wonderful for older people. Kitchen is very well equipped and the neighborhood is lovely. I will continue to go back!

Great house for a weekend get-a-way! Private boat slip was nice when bringing the boat. Houses are closer together but neighbors are very friendly. I would recommend this home to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well maintained and the neighborhood was great. Friendly people all around. The boat slips we easily assessable from the house with just a minor down grade to the slips. The owner was easy accommodating and easy to reach. If we go back to the Lake we will schedule it here.

This house was perfect for our family of 12. We had a mixed group with adults and kids. We found sleeping arrangements to be super easy and felxible. The kids loved the bonus room with the bunks!
The common area is very open and great for gathering. We found the kitchen and that space perfect for cooking together. We bbq'd most evenings and made use of the fire pit.
The yard is amazing. The grass is thick and lush. The kids (and adults) loved playing out there. It is quiet and large. We were flying kites, throwinf frisbees, playing badminton that we brought and had plenty of room.
The private dock was big and included seating. Everyong enjoyed coming down to gaze at the lake and relax. We rented a pontoon while there and were able to dock at the house without issue.
Lastly, the owner is quick to respond when needed and was committed to us having a great stay. Our family already wants to come back every year.

The property was exactly as described. Very clean, easy to find, beds were very comfortable, very nice private dock. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels/linens. We would definitely recommend the property to friends and family!

The listing is spot on! The house is very well maintained and fully stocked. Beautifully decorated and lots of amenities. We visited in the winter, I cannot wait to visit in the summer to take advantage of the boat dock and water activities. The owner is great and very responsive! Definitely will go back!

Everything was great. Bedding is firm, but not uncomfortable. There is not enough seating in the living room to accommodate more than 4 people comfortably. Other than that absolutely no complaints. Beautiful property!

Renting was easy and home was very clean. There was a TON of poop in the backyard, from the neighbors who let their dogs run around and so kids couldn't play catch like they wanted. Lots of free firewood, but make sure to bring dishwasher pods, paper towels and toilet paper as what was provided wasn't enough for the week. The beds were not comfortable so be aware if taking grandparents with bad backs but the place was beautiful 😍 and in a great location if you like peace and quiet. We did figure out fast October is the "off season" so a lot of things weren't open so we will go during the season next year. Would rent again if the huge backyard was available for use. My kids were so disappointed they couldn't play football out there...

This is a great property!! Location is very convenient to amenities and restaurants via boat. The dock was fully equipped with everything needed for a great water week! The house is very clean and well appointed. Plenty of rooms with enough dishes and utensils for cooking. The Weber grill and fire pit with firewood was a bonus. Easy in and out process as well. Great neighborhood, cove, and house. We will definitely rent again.

This property was the nicest, cleanest place I have ever rented thru vrbo. The cleanliness was second to none! Table on the patio as well as 2 on the deck. They were appropriately shaded at different times of the day. Nice driveway and absolutely NO steps to the dock, a wonderful feature for my over 70 crowd! Thanks for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It was a great location for 3 families with plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the bunk room while the adults enjoyed the regular rooms. The beds are just ok comfort wise but nothing to complain about. The dock and outside space was perfect and the kids loved the floating mat. We rented two jet skis and a boat so the dock slip and jet ski lifts came in handy! Our only complaint was that there was a decent amount of dog poop in the yard from the neighbors dogs but I’m sure the owner didn’t know…just something to check on in the future. We would definitely recommend and come back!

Fantastic Lake House
This is a fantastic vacation home for a large family or a couple of families to share. The home is tastefully decorated and very clean. The Wi-Fi makes working remotely a bit difficult but that is just how it is down at the lake and not a specific complaint about this rental property. The gentle walk down to the dock is so much better than a bunch of stairs. The backyard provided the perfect location for our kids to play baseball, catch, and frisbee. The dock provides a lot of shade/seating and the available slips for our wave-runners couldn’t have been more perfect. Lots of floaties and a lilypad for swimming off the dock. Our kids caught a bunch of blue gill , catfish and bass right off the dock so don’t forget your fishing poles. This house truly has everything you could want! Book it! You won’t regret it!

Great family getaway
This was our first trip to the Lake of the Ozarks and wow!! We loved the property. The home has a great layout, and it was so nice to have a level lot going out to the dock. The location of the home is conviently located a short drive to grorocery stores, gas starions, movie theater, and restaurants (go to Val's for breakfast). The house was clean and well maintained. Derrick called a couple days into the trip to check on things, but we had no issues! We can't wait to go back!

Nice vacation house
Overall good experience. Pictures and description accurately described the property. Host was quick to respond when we had a minor issue with the internet and tv’s not working upon arrival. Even though the temperatures were in the 90’s, we were still able to catch fish off the dock. Definitely would stay here again.
