Welcome to 'La Villa Bella'. La Villa Bella means 'The Beautiful Residence' in Italian. You will understand why when you arrive and are welcomed by the long private beautifully landscaped driveway surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants. The location is absolutely perfect - nested outside New Braunfels and close to Canyon Lake on a private 4 acre estate.
Our previous guests consistently comment on how beautiful and comfortable the home is. The main home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is fully furnished with an ideal kitchen for the cooking enthusiasts and a laundry room for your extended stays. It also has an outdoor building named 'Casita Rocco'. It is about 30 feet away from the main home. 'Casita Rocco' has a bathroom with a shower, kitchenette, furnished with a sofa, tv, dining table, trundle bed for 2. Perfect for separate children or teenage quarters.
Enjoy cooling off in the private pool while taking in the hill county views. Start the massive outdoor fireplace while grilling a late night snack under the beautiful pergola to warm up those 'chilly' evenings. What a gathering place for family and friends to rekindle old memories while creating new ones.

Gorgeous property away from the bustle. The pool was a huge benefit. Bonus that there is sweet kitty that guards the property. Everything was clean, well-stocked kitchen with all the pots pans and utensils you need to make a meal. Comfy beds. Outdoor seating was a nice hangout for conversation.

Our stay was amazing! We had a great time and were able to take a trip to Wimberley (only a 30 min drive). We enjoyed our weekend. We are already wanting to book again!!

We Celebrated my daughters College graduation with family and friend and home offered everything needed to relax and unwind and enjoy time with family and friends. Dean is an awesome host he made time to make sure everything was ready for your arrival. The home was furnished with everything you need to cook or bring back take out. The outdoor area has room for everyone to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool or just to sit back enjoy the scenery.

Check in was easy, location was gorgeous but further than we thought in order to get anywhere it was a little drive!! House was not as clean as I would have liked, floors turned our feet black & patio furniture was full of tree debris, which is understandable given the location but it looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while, so we were unable to utilize outdoor furniture….lighting outside at night could be better the one flood light wasn’t enough! But we enjoyed our stay & hope the next party does as well

We had a great stay! Everything was just as described. Dino was quick to respond with any questions we had. If we ever come back to Texas we will definitely stay here again. Oh and of course we enjoyed Lupe’s company!

We stayed here for our son's wedding over Spring Break. The place is beautiful, clean, spacious and the owner is very quick to respond to any questions. The location is so great with the views and how quiet it is. The house cat Lupe was an added treat for our family and we all loved that he was guarding the outside. Thank you again for allowing us to stay, it will be a memorable part of our son's wedding weekend.

It was perfect for our first girls trip with a group of 5. The location is perfect. The property is very spacious and feels secluded with the surrounding trees and limestone. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. We all loved this place!

The place and rooms were great but the lack of basic supplies was weird. Was told to bring my own extra paper towels and toilet paper. Very few bathroom towels. Had to go purchase hand soap and tp. Owner was good at communication and the view is gorgeous. Very secluded and good for a getaway.

This house was more beautiful than the pictures on the Vrbo sight. The home was super nice and clean, plenty of room and the pool was a hit for the kiddos. We want to stay again 🙌

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool & view were amazing! A Nice place to get away & relax. The house is really beautiful & the family room & dining room was more than we expected! Very open & roomy! Had all the accommodations of home! The only improvement that we suggest is replacing the BBQ grill. It was not propane as described, but we made it work! Outdoor space was really nice & the pool was very clean & perfect for our group! We enjoyed Lupe’s daily visits. She is a really sweet kitty!! We had a nice relaxing stay & plan on coming back !! This home was a perfect place for me and my family’s vacation. The home was clean and the pool was amazing. The location of the property is the best part of the place in my opinion with a lot of privacy and lots of wildlife. We will definitely be back.

Before even arriving, Dino was very responsive to all of my questions which is always really reassuring. The property is beautiful upon arrival, perfectly decorated, clean and maintained very well! We’re already planning our next trip to stay here again. Perfect for a relaxing bachelorette weekend getaway!

Our 3rd year in a row to stay here the week of Memorial Day. Has great amenities and you feel at home. The owner is a really good guy that is responsive if you need anything. I would highly recommend for families.

Upon arrival we were pleasantly pleased! The online photos and description were on point! The house was comfortable and was furnished with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit, but the hilltop setting and out door fireplace was amazing and more than we excpected. Even came with a cute little outdoor cat who was very friendly.

This property is lovely, clean, and as pictured in the ads. The manager/owner allowed us to come a day early so we could get ready for our friends and family. Communication was very easy. Supplies in the house were adequate. Since there was a pool we were asked to bring our own beach towles. There is a resident kitty cat named Jingles that we fell in love with. She is the sweetest and visited us every evening. I HIGHLY recommend this property for your vacation pleasure.

My husband and I just stayed here for our anniversary from 9/28/22-10/01/22 and had the best time!
The property was just perfect for us, but would have been just as comfortable with more family and friends as well. 3BR/2BA with dining to seat 10 (at 2 tables) comfortably. There was even a laundry room with full size W/D plus an ironing board station as well. Note: Guests should bring their own laundry detergent.
The kitchen was very well equipped with everything the guest should need, however, the ice maker was not working in the refrigerator, so I would recommend bringing ice. We already had a cooler with ice, so we were not inconvenienced.
There were plenty of towels available for our use, but for larger groups I would recommend bringing detergent to wash during your stay or more of your own towels, especially if you’re planning to swim. (I believe the property owner even recommends this as well).
The check in process was very smooth and the initial instructions were perfect and precise. The only minor hiccup was we couldn’t initially connect to Wi-Fi, but I called the owner and he was able to provide the updated log in information and everything worked perfectly. He was even able to recommend a few great nearby restaurants, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling.
What I loved most about the property: Seclusion and Privacy - the home is located at the end of the road at the top of the “mountain”. The wildlife - We saw so many critters! Deer, birds, an owl, frogs, an opossum, lots of raccoons, and of course the super sweet kitty that lives at the house!
I know this is a long review, but as an avid VRBO user, I always appreciate the information provided by previous guests. If you’re looking for a great property, look no further! We can’t wait to come back again!

Me and two other friends wanted to get away for a girls trip. I selected this house basically because it had a pool. As I was driving into the town I noticed subdivisions being built. And I started worrying we would be in a normal subdivision because I didn't do much research b4 booking. When I finally reached the house I was pleasantly surprised to find this house on top of a hill with an awesome view and a lovely porch. The owner really needs to take better pics as this house is so much better in person. Its on enough land that you didn't even hear, much less see the neighbors. There was only 3 of us but this place offers plenty of room for a bigger group.
You are close to the lake as well as the river. There is also a great place to eat called Wildflower. We went twice. Lol
The locals are very nice and super helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed 4 nights, enjoyed the property. Tons of deer to watch, swim in pool, spa, and just relax. Rooms are perfect size, baths are as well. Kitchen, dinning living a good size for multiple people. Will most definitely stay again. Beautiful property.

This was our second year in a row to stay here and the house was just as perfect this time as it was the first. It's huge, always clean, has everything you need. The location is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are amazing. Just a really awesome place to stay.

Great House and Location!
My family and I enjoyed our vacation so much at this house! The pool and hot tub are amazing. The house layout is great as well, the house has a porch with a great breeze during this hot summer! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and swimming in the pool!
The only thing we had to be mindful of was the steep drop off from the lower deck by the pool, if you have a toddler just be careful because there is no railing on that lower deck with the drop-off.

We spent a long weekend for my 50th birthday. My friends and family came to join me and it was a fabulous time. The pool was clean and relaxing The house was exactly how it was pictured. Beautiful home and grounds. It was perfect!

2nd stay in this Awesome place!! 1st time was in 2014. Very quiet and private. Kids (7 & 4) loved the pool and house. Small Town of Sattler is vey close for any needs and had a great pizza place (Wicked Good Pizza).

Honest Review
For 10 years we have rented homes with pools all over Texas as our annual girl's trip! This home had nothing but great reviews! Well, when we arrived at 4pm on Monday the pool was so milky white, there was no swimming in it, I reached out to the owner, and he said he would get someone out the next day! No swimming for the granddaughters, that evening, as we all like to unwind by the pool after unpacking vehicles in the blazing hot sun! Very disappointing! The next morning the pool was truly worse, and the hot tub had drained itself! A pool guy did show up around 11am or so, he worked very hard, and it cleared a bit, by the evening it was okay! But that pool has algae on the sides that have been there for a while! The house itself is nice enough, once we were told to keep the ac on 78 we were a bit worried, but walked into a cool house and never even looked at temp, it was always nice! The ceiling fan in the master only worked with a remote which happen to be missing a battery, reached out and the owner had someone bring us a pk of new batteries! I have to say, I think this is a investment property for people maybe out of state, not sure? But it needs some real updating! I mean towels were very old, there were no extra sheets, blankets, towels, no kitchen towels! I think the owners leave it to the maids and pool cleaners to do a job and never really check up on the house itself! There is a microwave in the extra house that has duct tape wrapped around the cord that is dry rotted, scary if someone uses it! A huge fire hazard! The kitchen in the main house had a lot of things for cooking which was nice! only one hot pot holder! The cat was a huge hit for the grandkids, but we think Lupe had a imposter as the cat had a tag and said the name was Jingles, we all got a kick out of that! It was nice enough, but we have stayed at so many places over the years and have always had nice towels, extra sheets, blankets, usually with a pool we always bring our own but most furnish a ton of beach towels, as stated there were barely any towels at all! The scenery was beyond amazing and its not far at all to the river, which we didn't plan on going but made a trip and enjoyed it, the river wasn't too too low but the water was cold and it was nice! All around it wasn't a horrible stay but I look at all the reviews and wonder? I didn't ask, but no compensation was offered for missing out on swimming in pool! Just a honest review!
