Step off the deck and into the sand at this beautiful oceanfront beach home in the quiet off-highway Nedonna area, just north of Rockaway Beach and only 90 miles from Portland! Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the ocean from our large picture windows facing the beach and mountains as you relax in our well appointed great room.
Play in the sand and enjoy long quiet walks on Nedonna's wide sand beach. The Nehalem Jetty is just steps away and a great place to see seals and a variety of sea birds. Restaurants and shopping are just a short drive away.
Our 2480 square foot, two bathroom home can comfortably sleep 8 people: 2 in the large upstairs master suite in a King bed, 2 in the downstairs Queen bedroom, 4 in the bunk beds in the third downstairs bedroom, and we do have a fold-open sofa and futon bed in the great room on the main level as well. The master includes a 42" Flat Panel HD TV & DVD player with YouTube TV, and streaming access in a lovely sitting area, and has its own large private bathroom complete with a shower and clawfoot tub. The downstairs bedrooms have a full bathroom with shower stall for bathing. There is an additional shower stall in the laundry room area as well.
One of the nicest features of our home is the large vaulted great room that encompasses the living, dining and kitchen areas. The panoramic view of the ocean, jetty and Neahkahnie Mountain is spectacular! Our large outside deck includes a lovely table and four comfortable chairs, with plenty of room for additional seating if needed.
The living area includes a natural stone fireplace, 42' flat panel HD TV with YouTube TV, and streaming access, Blu-Ray DVD Player and comfortable seating for all. The dining area includes a Bluetooth Sound Box, dining table for up to 10, island counter seating for 4, and dimmable lighting.
The large, well stocked kitchen includes an oversize center island with electric range, separate oven & microwave, quiet dishwasher, and ample countertops with a double-bowl sink. We also have a Propane Grill available in our garage for use in our driveway.
Free Wifi is included and high-speed internet is available throughout the house.
Our long driveway can accommodate car and boat trailer combo's if needed, and there's a large grassy front yard for even more fun.
The Nedonna neighborhood is perfect for a quiet morning stroll or bike ride--no hills or heavy traffic.
Summer or winter, the Oregon Coast is a great family getaway, and there's no better place to enjoy it than our oceanfront home! Pets ( dogs only ) are accepted for $20 per day per pet ( max 2 dogs ). PLEASE NOTE: Pets are only allowed in hardwood and tile floor areas ( out of carpeted bedrooms ) at all times.
Minimum age for rental booking is 25. We are a Non-Smoking property. We have 3 exterior video cameras facing away from the house, one on the garage looking toward the driveway, one facing away from the front door, and one above the deck looking toward the beach.
Please note that we do require your signature on our Rental Agreement that will be sent to you upon booking, as well as an image of your Drivers License ( DL# can be obscured if needed ) . PLEASE NOTE: Our MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY ON THE PROPERTY IS 8 PEOPLE ( plus 2 daytime only guests ) AT ANY GIVEN TIME. This is a Tillamook County permit rule ( Our Permit #851-12-2350 )....if you violate this rule at any time during your stay, you authorize us to charge an additional $750 fee on your Credit Card on file, and cancel your booking.

The house was as described, clean, well stocked, tastefully decorated, and everything worked. We are a family of 4 with 2 little kids (7 and 4) who stayed here with my parents who are active retired late 60s. No problem getting to and from the beach and we liked the sandy yard for the kids to play in while we were prepping meals. Pete is attentive and very accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property or stay again.

We stayed at this property 6 years ago and finally made it back, this year with the youngest being 7. It was as great as we remembered, and worked wonderfully for us, our 4 kids and grandpa and grandma.
Clean, kitchen had everything you need to do meals, and short walk to the beach! Zero complaints and we hope to be back again.

We had a lovely stay at this property! The location was absolutely stunning - directly on the beach with a gorgeous deck and views all around. Everything was clean and the home was well appointed. We stayed with 7 adults and 1 dog and there was plenty of space for everyone. Communication with the owner was also very easy and seamless. Amazing places to hike and eat nearby. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation!

This is a lovely property for visiting with family and lounging together. Ideal location adjacent to the beach made for easy trips to the water. It’s a 15 minute drive to Manzanita for restaurants and groceries. The only thing that would make it better would be to be walking distance to coffee, ice cream or seafood.

Really nice house with direct beach access just about a two minute walk to the beach. Beautiful living area kitchen where everybody could hang out with a nice deck on the back. Master bedroom is a beautiful suite. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Very comfortable home with awesome views of the ocean and Neahkanie Head. Well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets you need, and more. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Lots to do in the area. We recommend this home and would return if visiting in the future.

The house was gorgeous, very clean, and amazingly well stocked with anything you may need from kitchen, bathroom supplies, to puzzles and games. Also, any time I had a question for the host, he answered very promptly! Only thing that wasn’t ideal was one of the main windows in the master bedroom did not have any form of curtains or blinds which meant no privacy at night and very bright early mornings. Luckily we saw this in a previous review and brought our own blackout curtains to haphazardly cover the windows. Also the long list of “closing” chores seemed a bit over the top after already paying a lot for a cleaning fee..
That being said, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back again!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! This place is breathtaking! It was perfect for a romantic trip getaway with our pups. My partner surprised me and proposed here! This place will always hold a special place in our hearts! Peter was wonderful in communication and very welcoming! We would definitely stay here again!

This house is right by the beach and is well-equipped and has obviously been loved by its owners for years. It has some nice upgrades and was very comfortable. The owner is very communicative.

This was a great property to spend the weekend at even though it rained almost the entire time. Peter was responsive and courteous in his communication. For older dog owners, there is a stairway from the main entrance into the dining/living space which was challenging for our senior dog but he was able to get in through the back deck doors. We would stay here again in the future.

This is a beautiful, well kept home. They keep plenty of amenities on site that make it comfortable (lots of blankets, towels, spices, cooking oil, and even mayo, mustard, etc.). Plenty of room to spread out. Bedding is comfortable. And Rick was easy to communicate and work with!
My only suggestion would be to add curtains to all the windows in the bedroom. We’re early risers so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but I could see how some folks might be bothered by the early sun.

Our friends and we were SO pleased to be here! The views from the windows allowed us to 'be on the beach' even in the house and the walk to the shore was short and easy and unencumbered. the house itself was wonderful - the kitchen was beautifully appointed and we had everything we could imagine needing for our weekend. We had a GREAT time in a WONDERFUL home! The owner's ceramics added a touch of whimsy and we were so happy to be in this beautiful space! THANK YOU!

We really liked this beach house for our annual family trip. We had family members staying at other locations and our house was where we all had dinner and visited. Sister in law brought a dog over and i said it was ok for him to come in because it's a dog friendly house. I got a notice for a dog fee and a notice stating no more than ten people in the house. I know it says in the listing there are cameras outside of the house and figured it's for checking on damage, but i guess they are watching each visit. It did not settle well with me so i would not go back because of that. If your ok being spied on its a great house to stay.

The place was absolutely beautiful with a wide open living room with tons of windows. back deck is huge with clean composite deck boards and lots of comfy chairs to enjoy amazing sunsets. Upstairs master is enormous.
We made two mistakes. Broke Pete’s glass top patio table and also left a nice Bluetooth speaker behind.
Pete helped us fix both of those problems quickly. He was a responsive and level headed owner. 5 stars for the home, location and service.

Thoroughly enjoyed this home and the accommodations were perfect for 4 adults, grandkids and the dog. Outstanding location with a wall of windows to view the distant ocean, private path to the beach, nice deck, complete kitchen & bathroom supplies, beach supplies, comfortable beds, really a terrific home for relaxing. Location Location. There are stairs up to the kitchen & open living area and a few more stairs to the primary bedroom/bath suite. Guests might bring a box or bags for their personal food storage. Definitely recommend this home.

Excellent user friendly beachfront home at quiet north end of Rockaway Beach. Home is well equipped and prepared for guests. Thorough advice and instructions for using the space. Large king master and dog friendly is combination not always easy to find. Good setup for dogs. Owner is responsive and reasonable. All those 5 star rewiews are spot on.

This is a beautiful, comfortable house in an ideal Oregon coast location. It is fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry room. The large living room is comfortable and has wonderful views of the coastal grasses and sea. The beach path makes an easy walk to the water. Our only minor complaints would be that two bathrooms for up to 10 people is not enough, (for six of us, it wasn’t ideal), and maintaining a comfortable temperature between the upper and lower floors was impossible. The two downstairs bedrooms were perpetually cold.

Our family had a wonderful time here -- it's steps away from the ocean and spacious, with lovely views. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes and cooking tools, literally everything we needed. And our nearly 2-year old grandson loved playing with all the sand toys. We couldn't have asked for a better home for our beach vacation. The space fit five adults, two children, and an infant comfortably. Everyone felt like they had their own space. The house was very well stocked, especially the kitchen. With the beach right out our back door, we didn't feel like we had to travel very much. However, the house was conveniently located near several of the popular beach towns. We hope to return again in the future!

I traveled to this home with my parents, sister-in-law, nephew, and grandma — all of us loved our stay! The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Our highlight was the afternoons and evenings spent on the outdoor deck. The trail to the beach is incredibly accessible for all ages — and the beach below is so quiet and peaceful compared to others in Oregon. Pete was an excellent host and did an amazing job communicating with our group. We would love to come back someday.

Very large and very well-equipped home. The owner has taken exceptional care in providing more than anyone could expect from wet-weather apparel to boots, games (outdoor and indoor), toiletries, kitchen appliances, etc. There's hardly a thing that's not already provided and the local stores are well-stocked and close, too. The walk to the beach is slightly challenging for the geriatric among us, but easy for most. And the beach is lovely with tons of interesting driftwood and beautiful views. Easy to enjoy.
