About this house rental
Summary:
Slide into the heart of Charleston like you own the place with CasaZoë, your VIP pass to the city’s thrumming pulse, right where the action is—on the most elite street and on the best block in the Short Term Overlay District. But don’t worry, we keep the buzz at the doorstep; inside, it’s all about serene, chic retreat vibes, with a sprinkle of old Charleston magic and a generous pour of modern flair.
The Space:
Green Cottage at Casa Zoë – Charleston's freshly revamped slice of heaven on Cannon Street. This isn't just any 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom abode; it's your private sanctuary with a porch and courtyard that may have more charm than a Southern belle at a garden party. And guess what? You won't have to deal with the drama of condo neighbors. It's all yours, top to bottom and so is your bathroom - ensuite because sharing bathrooms is so last year.
Step through the door and be greeted by a renovation that screams chic sophistication. We're talking King mattresses that you'll want to sink into and never leave, furniture so stylish it should be on a runway, and walls graced with Slim Aarons' artwork that'll transport you to a world of vintage glamour. The kitchen? A marble masterpiece where even your morning coffee feels like a luxury.
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Charleston's design district, the Green Cottage puts you in the VIP section of the city’s culinary scene. You're just a saunter away from establishments dripping with James Beard accolades and local joints like Fuel, Xiao Bao Biscuit, The Grocery, and The Ordinary that'll have your taste buds singing praises. And for your sugar fix, Sugar Bakeshop is practically your next-door sweetheart.
Inside, the blend of old-world charm and new-world lux is downright intoxicating. Think hardwood floors with stories to tell, historic fireplaces that are all show and sophistication, and light-flooded rooms that make you feel like the main character in a stylish indie film. Add in a high-def TV, a washer/dryer setup that makes chores look chic, and that outdoor space begging for your attention, and you've got the recipe for an unforgettable stay.
From the dreamy beds to the marble kitchen, every inch of Blue Cottage has been curated for your indulgence. With off-street parking to boot, this isn’t just a place to crash—it’s your personal Charleston retreat, oozing sass and class in equal measure. Welcome home, darling. It's going to be a fabulous stay.

Great location, safe neighborhood. Easy access to King street, easily walkable to Broad street and points south. Cottage was very clean and quiet. Owner very responsive is a question or issue came up

Meg was amazing at check in!!! Highly recommend
5.0
Three bedrooms, though we only used the two bedrooms upstairs. We didn’t cook this weekend; however, as one who loves to cook, I don’t think this is an ideal place if you’re looking to stay in and cook nightly. So many great restaurants in walking distance. Every morning, we walked to Holey Bagel, which has delicious bagels/sandwiches and coffee. The casa is also an easy walk to King Street.
Loved the windows in the sitting room/tv area. Spacious; however, the sofa is not as comfortable as it looks. Pretty stiff, but fine. The kitchen table was a round folding table with a tablecloth over it, which was fine. We didn’t sit at it.
Overall, we would stay here again. It was quiet and nice.

Love staying at this property. Convenient to everything and a great walking location. Close to all downtown activities and restaurants. Charming patios and a feeling of coziness

Place was clean and nice but outside patio furniture needed cleaning. Only has one TV in Living Rm. and not comfortable to sit and watch TV in the evenings.
Bath soap dispensers in the showers were both empty and had to go find some in a closet.

Great location!! Very charming with lots of character. Bed are comfortable. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Def recommend

This rental property was excellent. Clean and spacious. The living space could use a new couch but overall the beds were comfortable. The showers were well stocked and water hot. Air conditioning was excellent. Parking was easy but there was a charge for parking. I felt a little mislead as the property advertised “off street private parking” and only once I was booked did I notice a parking charge. Should’ve been included in the property based on the advertisement. Great location walkable to a a few bars and restaurants. Easy Uber to anywhere downtown. Would stay again.

This is our second time staying in this cute cottage. The location is perfect, off street parking is convenient and the space is adorable. We will certainly be staying here again. Our son is in college in Charleston and this makes a perfect spot for us to stay while visiting. Thank you!!!

Fit our needs perfectly. We were there during a perfect weather week. The only downside could be that if the weather isn't perfect the only dining table is outdoors.
The beds are very comfortable as are the showers. One hair dryer and the curling iron didn't work. Overall it was great!

Great Little Spot for a Weekend visit
We stayed here with our son, who is a college student in Charleston. It was a fine size for 3. The location is great, parking is easy and the cottage is super cute and comfortable. We will certainly be back. Thank you !

Great location needs a little TLC
Easy to get around town and to the beaches. Bed was comfy and living room basically comfortable. Shower was good. Negatives: We didn’t plan on cooking but if you do, the kitchen is not well stocked for that. Even for non chefs, you need an ice tray or a portable ice maker, instead of lugging a bag of ice down the street. Kitchen counters were also badly damaged and need replacing. Patio cushions also were very dirty.

The Best Birthday Weekend
We had the most amazing weekend in Charleston! This house is so close to King street and all the fun, that we hardly had to use Uber! The property manager was quick with responses and Charleston is simply CHARMING!!!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It is the perfect location and the patio was fabulous! We even used the outdoor shower.
It is small, but we would come back.

Great home base in Charleston
We loved our time at the cottage over the long Easter weekend. The home is a comfortable and convenient base of operations to explore the city and we liked the youthfulness of the neighborhood where it's located. Very convenient to grocery, coffee shops, bars, restaurants and boutiques, the location is great!

Comfortable cottage
Cute and comfortable cottage with everything you need - linens, toiletries, laundry facilities and detergent. Only thing missing in the kitchen is ice cube trays. Grocery and convenience stores near by and a few blocks to upper king. We walked most places during the day and took short Uber rides at night. Perfect for a girls get away!

Great place in a great neighborhood!
This cottage was absolutely perfect for my friend and me. We had our own parking space right outside the cottage. The location was perfect, and was in walking distance to restaurants and some shops. We met the owner who was very, very nice. The neighborhood was quiet which we loved. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Perfect stay!

Overall positive. Great location and quaint cottage feel with nicer outdoor space. Some negatives: Lots of flies that were present even though we kept doors and windows closed. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Construction on property next door started at 7 am most mornings.

Great stay!
My husband and I rented the property with our two small dogs. It was poop for us. Amazing location, close to shops and restaurants. I also felt safe walking the dogs in the evening. The kitchen was a little small but we had dinner reservations each night so it was no an issue. Parking was easy and it was also quiet despite being in the middle of the city. Overall great stay!

First Visit
Our visit was great! It was our first time in Charleston we loved it! Our little cottage was very nice. A little smaller than what it appears in photos but fine for 4. The owners were prompt with all communications. We were grateful for that. I would recommend being comfortable with choosing it for a visit.

Fun perfect stay
Just got back from 4 nights with my 4 sisters. Everything about this home suited us perfectly. Although it’s not large, we spent all our nights on the patio with a nice table and chairs. Beds comfortable; kitchen is small but who cooks on vacation?
Only thing to take note of is you have to go thru bedrooms to get to a bathroom. This was not a problem for us but should take note if you have people sleeping on the pullout couch. They have an outdoor shower and you must try it as it’s so invigorating!
Location is great, we did not have a car and didn’t need one. It’s about 3 blocks off King Street; there is also a local small grocery store for wine and snacks about 2 blocks away.
We did a walking tour with Two Sisters in the historic district the first day; strongly suggest as Theresa is a local, knew everybody and very informative about the history and current events of Charleston.
Owners of the unit were very responsive, texted throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. Oh, and it was booked the day of our departure but we had a late flight and they allowed us to store our luggage hidden in the outdoor shower while we did last minute shopping and lunch.
Had rented the previous week in another city from large company(total disaster); realized having local owners such as this Green House made a huge difference. Will definitely recommend to others!

The best of Charleston
Two couples for a weekend in Charleston. This was the perfect spot for us. The house was suited perfectly for 2 couples wanting a great Charleston experience. The house was very cozy, extremely bright, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. We loved spending time on the spacious and shady deck and sleeping in the very comfortable beds. A nice and quiet location convenient to great food and shopping. The outdoor teak shower was a little slice of heaven. Wonderful and accurate communication from the management team. A perfect place to stay by every matrix.

Highly recommend!
The entire process of this stay was easy and enjoyable. The parking situation was perfect! I do wish the house had a bathroom that was not in a bedroom, but that's as close to a complaint as I can get. It was close enough to King Street that we never ubered anywhere. The outdoor patio area was so nice for the group to hang and enjoy the beautiful Charleston evenings. The bed and duvet were so comfortable that I wish I looked for tags so I could purchase both! Would definitely stay at one of these properties again.

Great location
Had a lovely long weekend at this property - worked out great for four of us.
The outdoor space great for morning coffees and late afternoons drinks. Do bring bug spray though - not surprisingly there are mozzies but all very manageable.
Well kitted out place and perfect location for access to King St.
Enjoyed our time and would come again.
Thanks!

Our stay at the Green Cottage
We had a lovely weeklong stay at the Green Cottage. We enjoyed our relaxing mornings and early evenings sitting out on the beautiful patio garden. The outdoor shower was a nice extra! The cottage was charming, cozy and roomy enough for five adults. The cleaning crew did an excellent job making sure the cottage was immaculate for our arrival. The cottage is located by many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, a bakery and several attractions all within walking distance. It was an added bonus that we had free parking too. Stevenson was a wonderful host. We appreciated his attention to details making our stay at the Green Cottage relaxing and welcoming. He answered our email questions within minutes and was very attentive. I would highly recommend staying at the Green Cottage during a trip to Charleston. You won't be disappointed. We hope to stay here again.

Tranquil Oasis in Downtown Charleston
We loved our stay at this property! This cottage is in a Prime location, set back from the road, with a beautiful private courtyard.
This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay- I would recommend this also for two couples or for a family. There are two well appointed bedrooms, and I believe the sofa can pull out to a bed.
The kitchen is small, so do not plan on cooking large meals here, but you would not want to, as you would miss your chance to dine at all of the wonderfully delicious restaurants nearby!
Walk 150 steps every morning to Sugar for a cupcake or pastry and an espresso or tea; lunch at Xiao Bao Biscuit or Babbas, dinner at Chubby Fish(highly recommend, worth the wait) or Chez Nous...and these are all within a few blocks of the Green Cottage.
A stat here gives your a chance to discover this area of Charleston that is not on the mainstream path, and may be even better.
You will sleep very well here, as the bedbug is Very comfortable, and due to the location of the cottage, it is very quiet. Which may be rare in this area.
I would HIGHLY RECOMNEND you book a stay here, as it would truly make your stay on Charleston as special as it made ours!!
3.0
Great location.
A beautiful property on the outside but has some work
to do on the inside. The unit kitchen was in need of work - countertops coming up. Floor was dirty throughout. Bathroom in second bedroom is not really set up for an adult - would be ok for a kid. In the smaller bedroom there wasn’t enough counter space for traveler essentials. No hand towels were furnished. Two bath towels and two washcloths were provided. Light bulbs were missing in small BR but we’re replaced once owner was contacted. An electrical outlet cover was missing in the main living area, which could be a problem with kids. The patio area was very relaxing and beautiful. The best part of the rental was the off-street parking, which is essential when staying in the historic district. Having a washer-dryer combo came in handy. The owner was very pleasant and responsive. Having stayed in multiple VRBO properties I have an idea of what to expect. Some of the things I mentioned can be overlooked at lower price points but not at this property’s price point. All things considered I would recommend this property as it is so convenient to everything.
