Lady on the Beach is conveniently located in the center of town just steps to Seaside Avenue, Ruskin Park, Seaside's Central Square, and of course, the beach. Lady on the Beach is one of very few one story homes in Seaside!
This radiant getaway has two newly renovated bathrooms in each bedroom and the bedrooms have access to furnished front and back porches. The front and back screened porches will be as much a part of the living space as the interior rooms. The back porch overlooks the professionally landscaped backyard with an edible garden maintained by a master gardener. The larger front porch allows outdoor dining or just enjoying a refreshing beverage from the rocking chairs.
The home is furnished with original artwork throughout with imaginative contemporary pieces. The updated kitchen is open to the living area and furnished with equipment any gourmet cook would envy. The kitchen is complete with top of the line chef ready appliances from a Gourmet Viking Dual fuel stainless stove, a Bosch dishwasher, gourmet knives, a Keurig, a Nespresso Machine, and the coffee pods are even provided. The kitchen granite countertops extend to the adjacent laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A vaulted ceiling and open interior adds to the natural and expansive light that is Lady on the Beach.
The first king primary bedroom has a completely renovated private full bathroom in the front, a second queen bedroom with a completely renovated private full bath is at the back of the home, and a queen sleeper sofa is in the living room to comfortably sleep six on your next beach escape. Off the queen bedroom is a screened in porch with Adirondack seating for two overlooking the large fenced in yard, a deck, an outdoor grill and shower perfect for a long day at the beach. We have been going for over 20 years. Most of those early years we used Seaside Cottage Rentals. They got to a point that they did not know us from Adam after we had spent over 100 k with them. Priperties were getting outdated. They were just order takers. Homeowners Collection has given them competition and taken over better properties. You have been proactive with us and this survey is an example. You should always train your people to understand how powerful it is when your clients go home and tell all their family and friends of their experience with your company.

This is a wonderful cottage, or we could also say full-blown house. Beautiful space, tastefully furnished, very convenient to town square, restaurants, beach and pool. The rental management staff were extremely responsive to some minor issues like burnt-out light bulbs. There was nothing major that needed taking care of! We would enjoy coming back and I would highly recommend this place!

We did not use the Loft area so I can’t speak to the configuration or furnishings. In addition, we loved the two screened in porches, the potted plants/flowers and appreciated the outdoor fans. On a side note, we did feel the sofa coverings, duvet/comforters and outdoor cushions were stained and probably need to be replaced, at the end of the season. And the home could use a good dusting and cleaning. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and look forward to returning to Seaside soon!

The rental was in a good location with very easy access to the beach. Close to restaurants and literally feet from Seaside circle. The owners have updated the appliances in the kitchen and the bathrooms, however, the cookware is older and very mismatched, so we had trouble finding lids to pots, etc. Also there are several corded and cordless phones throughout the unit that aren't in use and taking up space and collecting dust that should be removed from the unit. Overall, the unit was clean, but there are picture frames, knick-knacks,etc. that don't look like they've been dusted in quite awhile. It's a nice unit, but could use just a little more updating to be on par with some of the other places we've stayed in Seaside. Whenever we had questions, the rental agency was very responsive and the ability to communicate through text was very convenient.

Lady on the Beach at 170 E. Ruskin is the perfect Seaside location being one block off town central. The front and rear porches are quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. The E. Ruskin private beach crosswalk is a flat, picturesque stroll of about 3-4 minutes to a well-maintained, spacious white sand beach with clean, private bathrooms. This home has 2 Queen BR/BA, Dining Table for 6, comfy living space with vaulted ceiling for TV, games, conversation, kitchen with bar seating for 6, and a utility with W/D and extra counter space we used for beverages/bar area. There is a loft area that was not accessible during our stay and we had no need for this space. Appears to be a reading/observation nook with a sofa. The amenities provided by Home Collection are first class plus they provide plenty of household items for the stay (soaps, detergents, shampoo, paper products). The read-ahead instructions were correct and helpful. The house was clean, arranged well and decorated with what appeared to be local art - very colorful. The Home Collection staff is friendly, informative and accommodating making the booking and arrival processes simple. For a party of up to four/two-couple trip, I will stay at Lady on the Beach again. I will definitely book through Home Collection and their recommended concierge services.

This house has wonderful location to the beach and Seaside Center of town. The Management group came the night we arrived to make sure everything was up to our expectations. The house was clean and the bathrooms have been renovated it seems. The house will soon need some cosmetic renovations and updating and could use new linens. The bedding and couch covers need to be updated. Even with these view negatives I would rent again. The location can't be beat.

The house is small to be sure, but has 2 bed and bath and a solid kitchen plus grill out back. Plenty of seating although it would get cramped if you had bad luck on weather. With large porches and a good-sized open concept main room, this was an excellent space to relax and socialize while still being able to social distance. Nice furnishings that are complemented by the decorations and great appliances for cooking made cooking and eating at the rental rather than going out much easier. We had 3 people, but I think 4 could sleep there easily and comfortably in the two bedrooms. The loft looks nice and is cleverly placed and accessed, but it lacks any real privacy and I would be concerned about having young kids up there. Where the cottage is positioned in Seaside means it is close to the center of town without being located such that traffic or noise are an issue, which meant that it was very pleasant to sit and read or work on the porches. There is good lighting at the two ends of the main room, but insufficient lighting in the middle around the couches. A hanging light fixture above that central coffee table would definitely help. There is lighting on the porches, but on the front porch at least it is not very bright even with the dimmers turned all the way up. On the subject of dimmers, there is a slightly odd array of different switch styles around the cottage, some of which are well labeled and some of which are less so. Bathroom fixtures are very attractive and functional, though the bath spigot for the front bedroom was not properly affixed to the wall. Hot water was plentiful and available quickly and the air conditioning was very effective. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Wonderful Seaside experience
Our family of four stayed in the Lady on the Beach and REALLY enjoyed it! The house was so comfortable and perfect size for the four of us. Screened in porches were so nice to sit on and eat meals and have a few glasses of wine in the evenings. And the beach is an easy walk and so beautiful - clean sand and such clear water. We will definitely go back!

The location of this house was perfect. Right around the corner from downtown Seaside and the beach. That alone would make me stay there again. The house itself was also lovely except the kitchen needs a face lift, the refrigerator needs an ice maker, and the light switches were a little confusing and quite a few were missing knobs and some lights didn't have light bulbs. That being said, it would not prevent me from staying there again. Overall had a lovely time and would stay again. Thanks!!

House was perfect and offered a great kitchen and a gas grill if you wanted to cook at home. We plan to return to Seaside and would definitely stay at Lady on the Beach again.
