This beautiful 1 bedroom that sleeps 4 is oceanfront with unobstructed panoramic ocean views. It has a large long deck and steps to a dry sandy beach just outside the vacation rental. There are pegged hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and accented with stainless steel appliances with plenty of counter space and a bar sink. The rental has 1 bedroom with a king size bed. In addition there is a large sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a washer & dryer on site for your convenience. Included with the rental is a one car garage and parking for an extra car. In addition, the property is gated for extra privacy. The rental is beachfront on Carbon Beach which has been nicknamed “Billionaire’s Beach” and has unobstructed panoramic ocean views of Queens Necklace and Catalina Island. It is just yards from the famous Surfrider Beach, Malibu Pier, the Adamson House and world class restaurants. You can plan for a wonderful, carefree, relaxing vacation at one of the best locations in Malibu. In addition to the amazing ocean views and the beach just steps away, nearby you’ll enjoy strolling through two shopping centers that are home to world-class shops and restaurants. When you are not on the beach, you can also enjoy the flat screen HD TVs, blue-ray, stereo with iPod connection, CD player and wi-fi. We provide all linens, towels, beach chairs, and gas barbeque, so you don't need to pack those essentials. We are pet friendly and there is a pet fee.

This property did not disappoint! I was impressed with the cleanliness of all the rooms and appliances, and loved the new waterproof luxury vinyl flooring. The sound of the waves and seagulls was perfect for reading on the deck in late afternoon.
Many thanks to Angel and the housekeeping staff for making me feel welcome and helping me to get settled in this little piece of paradise. I hope a return trip is in my future.

Great stay at this one bedroom condo on the ocean. Quaint place but worth the money spent. Weather was horrible but excellent views of the lights of Santa Monica to the pier at Malibu. Xcellent locarion. Highly recommended! Thank you

I did not want to leave! The waves crashing right under the balcony, watching the sunrise and sunset plus nature was perfect. The home was comfortable. I thought the floors could have been cleaned better when I arrived but then realized the doors have gaps so some of the debris comes in. The lcoation was perfect to walk around town, to the pier, eateries, and of course the beach. Even when the tide is up you just go a short ways to the other side of the pier and have access to the beach.

Cottage-feel in the rental was perfect for me. I was looking for peaceful place to stay while my husband was in the hospital after major surgery. The cupboards and kitchen are old but serviceable--I'm sure that if the apartment was "updated" it would have to be much more expensive to rent. Angel, one of the property-keepers, was warm and welcoming. I hope I'm able to come again to enjoy a stay on the beach.

Often times pictures oversell what you’re getting with a condo, that is not the case for this condo. From the moment you walk in, the ocean view and sound of the waves crashing beneath the deck was just incredible. The unit is so assessable to great places in and around Malibu. The bed was super comfortable. You may not have a view of the water in the bedroom but you 100% can hear and sometimes feel the waves crashing on the beach. There are a lot of awesome restaurants but don’t snooze on the Pizza place across the street, D’amores, it was ridiculously good. Brunch at Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga was excellent and it’s a beautiful drive 20 minutes from the condo.
This place is great. Angel was a great host/property manager.

What a great place to stay in Malibu! Location is perfect and the accommodations were perfect for our needs; parking, a fully equipped kitchen, a deck directly above the waves, an endless view of the Pacific and a very comfortable bed. The instructions to get into the property were perfectly outlined in the “here are your keys” and helpful Angel was on property if you need any assistance. The Malibu Pier is a short walk away, as is NOBU for a nice dinner. We chose to go to Costco and Whole Foods for wine, snacks and our dinners to bring back to the cottage. We will definately return to stay at this charming beachfront home.

I was in Malibu to record an audio book. Two team members met with me at this rental. Amazingly, given the excitement and focus this work required, both of these guys said meeting at my rental, not the studio, was the highlight of the trip.

Spent most of our time on the patio and at the dining room table enjoying the view of the ocean and sound of the waves. Great place to relax for a few days. Walking distance to the Pier.

Had high hopes and paid quite a bit for this property but was a let down. For one it’s definitely only “Oceanside” and not “beachside”. There is no beach at all in front. There is no air conditioning although it was ok most of the time. The property is dated and could use some renovating. Garage is nice but not large enough to fit anything much larger than a sedan. Angel was a very nice and helpful person on site but the property management was a struggle to get information about check in and received nothing about check out. Very convenient to the pier and walkable to other locations.

The apartment was right on top of the ocean that you could access right down the stairs at low tide, but not for very long nor to lounge on sandy beach. That kind of beach is a few minutes of a walk down the street. Sitting on the balcony to watch the waves, sunset and sealife was so nice, but the patio furniture cushions that were there were all wet due to the high tide, so had to ask Angel to bring up a couple of plastic chairs to make it more pleasant. Once he did that, all was good. The bed was comfortable, but the pull out couch was not, even though its fine to sit on, its not comfortable to sleep in and the mattress
& springs need to be replaced. Plenty of towels and kitchen necessities were provided and also beach chairs. If staying on Malibu beach is on your bucket list, although pricey, this is the place.

This place was great: the view is stunning, the place is clean and updated (would guess was built in the 1950s). The property manager greeted us, which was a nice touch. There is a 1-car garage on site. Location ideal: easy to walk to many restaurants or the beach. At high tide, the surf comes up to just under the deck, so it you are hoping to lay out on the beach, would suggest walking a few blocks down PCH to the coastal access path where there is more sand. The bed is super comfy and there is a large selection of bath and beach towels. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pans, dishes, etc. A dishwasher is in the unit. Laundry room on site, but we didn't use or investigate. Slept like a dream with the sound of the surf crashing against the rocks! Will definitely come back.

I loved our stay at this location. I have stayed at many VRBOs on the California coast and this is my favorite by far. The proximity to the ocean, hearing the waves crash on the sand, smelling the sea. We loved it and will be back again!

We so much enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, and the apartment's good light. Bed very comfortable. The one-car garage is convenient, though very tight - but we were grateful that it was there at all. In high tide, the apartment is literally in the ocean - in low tide, there is a pretty beach in front. The apartment is simply but adequately equipped. Angel, the caretaker, is very pleasant to deal wth!

At this price point I expected a much nicer property. Everything was very old and dirty feeling. Lots of ants. Some of it was natural “beach” wear and tear (sticky doors, wavy floors, etc.) Master bed was comfortable but the pull out couch was truly terrible. We really only used this place to sleep and wake up in (as we had family in a bigger property in Malibu) so for that it suited our needs fine. If we were using the space more (to cook, hang out in, etc.) I would have been very disappointed. The proximity to the beach, view, and the ocean waves crashing was amazing. That was the redeeming quality. I wouldn’t book this place again but staying that close to the ocean was magical so if that’s on your bucket list this is probably a more affordable option in Malibu.

Location is great. On the water access to hiking in the many trails in the Malibu hills area that overlook the ocean.

If you are looking for a Hollywood high end condo on the water this is not it. And it’s not priced like those high end places. This is a basic apartment that’s been around a while. It’s priced competitively versus any hotel in the area and you get more space and ocean walks.

My husband and I stayed here for just two nights.. The place was as described, the views were better than expected. We spent most of those days and nights on the beach and on the balcony. During low tides we walked the very long, wide and sandy beach and during high tides we watched a seal sunning itself on a rock and watched the waves. Our sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. There was shopping nearby for groceries and we walked to nearby restaurants, all which were delicious. Great location! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We are from Virginia and had been saving for this trip for our 53td Anniversary. Our granddaughter and husband with our 2 great great grandchildren age 20months and 6 months surprised us and stayed 2 nights.
!. No Air Conditioning!
2. No screens for any windows!
3. There is not parking for 2 cars unless you have 2 subcompacts. MADE US MOVE 1 OF OUR CARS. I had to pay to park in a garage 1 day and a parking lot the next. You have to fight for parking on the street.
4. ANTS ARE TERRIBLE!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE AND INTO EVERYTHING. Flying bugs came in at night. ( NO SCREENS)
5. WIFI and CELL SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!
6. The beach front is terrible, all ROCKS. We are 70 and I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran. You have to go over to another set of buildings to go to the beach.
7. This place is old with old appliances ( Dishwasher didn't work). Floors are wood and need major repair.
8. Pictures in advertisement of this place in our opinion are false.
9. Not a place for seniors or children.

The apartment is right in the beach (on stilts) with direct access. The WiFi is good, the bed comfortable and it is walking distance to everything ( grocery, shops , restaurants). The on-site Manager Angel is great to deal with any issues.
But really it’s all about the private deck overlooking the ocean where you can sit and watch all day. An absolute treat!

This location was perfect for us! It is right on the water and a short walk to the pier, restaurants, and equipment rentals. The parking in TIGHT in the garage they provide, but we were able to back in our Silverado. We would love to come back!

The only issue I had was with the tv/remote. We had trouble getting the tv on, I had to keep pushing the button on the back of the tv. And the remote for the tv didn’t fully work. It wouldn’t increase the volume. Sam helped us with that by letting us borrow another remote, then it was set in store mode and had continuous pop up messages and the remote wouldn’t turn them off. The next day, I asked to borrow that other remote again, and I was able to uncheck store mode, but they made me give that remote back, so again we couldn’t adjust the volume. The cable remote didn’t adjust volume either. I don’t know why we couldn’t keep the good remote. Otherwise we had a great time. Thanks.

Just an amazing location. Literally on top of the ocean during high tide. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Garage is a bit tight. My Tacoma just fit. If you love the views and sounds of the ocean I would definitely recommend. Walking distance to popular beach area.

This house is the quintessential beach-getaway you're looking for in Malibu - amazing views, the perfect size for a cozy getaway. Could not have asked for a better location. The place is slightly outdated (was definitely built several decades ago) but it's cute and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better location!!
