A decent stay

The location was perfect. Excellent water pressure. Plenty of space.

The lock system. It was difficult to unlock the door/get in. So expect several trials before finally being able to get in. Also, the mattresses were a bit soft. Otherwise, it has everything you need.

A very disappointing experience

The description of the property at the time of our booking (they might have updated it) was misleading as it mentioned there was two sofa beds and a queen bed in one room (upstairs) and a queen bed in another room. In the upstairs bed room was a queen and a chairbed - just enough to sleep one, not quite what is normally understood as a sofa bed. There was no other sofa bed we could find. In the downstairs room is a comfortable queen bed. We are not sure where the other sofa bed was and our fourth guest slept on the downstairs sofa (that we could not open). Not at all what we expected. The place was clean, the location is good. The photos show a bright space, this is not the case. Because of the layout, the downstairs living room is dark, the sofa is also now dark blue and unless you use artificial light, it will stay dark even in broad day light.

Great pet friendly place! Thank you!

We really loved this rental. Myself, my partner, her mother, and her mothers boyfriend. We also had my small 8-lb schnauzer. This rental is great - it didn’t charge a pet fee - just asked the renters to be respectful of the home and keep their dogs off the furniture and locked up when you aren’t there. The beds were very soft and comfortable - we love soft beds. All amenities needed were provided (ie linens, towels, detergent). Very easy to get into - you will receive a door code to unlock and also information to get the actual key if you are locked out - we never needed that - just the door code. In close proximity to downtown Savannah. We plan to come back to Savannah and hope to stay here again. Great place!

Just be aware, there are some stairs in front and stairs to get upstairs to a bedroom if you are traveling with elderly parents. The back entrance doesn’t have stairs and there is a bedroom on the first floor. Plan accordingly. :)

I would recommend anyone looking for a great place to book this charming cottage.

Lovely house. Very comfortable, in a nice quiet street in the historic part of town. Shops and Forsyth Park were walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds.

Some sort of ventilation was activated every 15 minutes that ran past both bedrooms. We could not find the source, but it did wake you from time to time. The towels smelled odd and the shower downstairs needs some TLC.

nice place, rude staff

the cleaning lady was extremely rude. we arrived 15 min before check in at 3:45. After asking her if we could check in if she finished early, she simply said No, closed the door and waited in the house until exactly 4:00. Not exactly welcoming to Savannah

I would definitely book with VACASA again. It's always a good and smooth process.

The location was excellent. Quaint old home. Very clean.

Living room couch is very uncomfortable. Lack of seating. Kitchen chairs are not even a little bit comfortable to sit for any length of time.

Fantastic and would definitely book again!!!

Very easy to find. Beautiful house. Everything worked great.

The freezer was broken on the fridge, which we did not know prior to booking (not a huge issue but I felt uncomfortable touching it after we found out...). Also, just some dog hair on the couches and rugs, which would have been nice to have vacuumed up.

Nice location and good size house for a smaller family. Also had everything needed in it. Overall it was an good stay!

The hot water knob on the shower was broken so couldn't use the shower downstairs. The host said I'd be accommodated for it and haven't heard anything else about it since I talked to her. Also maybe look at adding a tv to the bottom floor room would be nice.

Very good

Well the amenities listed were not supplied. We had to purchase laundry supplies, and there were no bags for the trash can. (We just used the plastic grocery bags) that we got from the grocery store.. but.... our group were all together which was great. The cottage was a little tricky to find at first. But after we found it. It was a breeze. The cottage was close to everything and every place that we wanted to go to. We love Savannah. Totally plan to do this again, and we will definitely book the cottage for our next stay.

This place is horrible and they don't care about cleaniliness

There was leftover food in the sink whenever we got there from the people before us, there was no laundry detergent like they said there would be, the beds were very much uncomfortable I have a messed up tailbone and couldn't sleep in the beds from their stiffness, there was still rocks and sand in the bathtub upstairs and the Jets didn't work either. The door to the backdoor kept getting stuck which made it difficult to get in and out of especially with a two year old running around. We will not be going back to any of vacasas places ever again.

Great place !

The home was nicely decorated and very clean ! It had just about everything we needed for our weekend stay ! Being that we were two couples it was nice to have the other bed and bath upstairs , very private !

Kind of tricky at first figuring out the roads to get there ,a lot of one way roads in the area ,but once we got it down it was easy ! Wish there was more seating in living room ,maybe another small couch . We were two couples that stayed .

Rental was just ok, very old and very basic necessities need to be updated big time

Parking on premises, location to attractions, air conditioning was free to adjust, and the security system was nice

Biggest draw back was the lack of quality for the cost. The house is very poorly put together and is not exactly up to date. The bed sheets, linens, and curtains were all very old and everything just seemed worse for wear. There’s no singular ‘theme’ and we found the general atmosphere rather unremarkable.
