The beachfront Sapphire Luxury Condominiums and Spa offer resort style accommodations with spectacular views for you and your family right on the Gulf of Mexico. And Condo 1908 is your perfect home away from home luxury vacation getaway. Being on the 19th floor, the condo provides amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico, low enough to hear the ocean waves but high enough above the neighboring buildings to have miles of unobstructed view of the beautiful island beach both north and south. This condo is privately owned and immaculately maintained. With its 10 and 12 foot ceilings throughout, you have expansive views from the master bedroom and from the living room windows. There are two private patios one faces east towards the gulf and one faces west towards the bay so you can enjoy both the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Each patio has seating for 4 with tables. There is an electric grill in the back patio as well for your BBQ needs.
This condo is fully furnished to provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each bedroom and the living room have their own large screen Smart TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. The living room also includes an Xbox 360 with games and a sound bar. Each bedroom has its own ceiling fan and very comfortable oversized mattresses. The master bedroom Large king bed with oversized luxurious mattress, 12 foot ceilings and an oversized (10 foot tall) window with a picturesque view of the beach, large dresser, 47 in flat screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD player, accent chair, large walk-in closet. Also includes blackout shades for those who like to sleep in. We provide you with beach/sand toys, beach towels, umbrella and beach chairs, and a cooler with wheels. Other items provided are an iron and iron board, board games, book library, Cable TV, Wifi, Xbox game system with games included. A full size washer and dryer are available in the unit in a separate utility closet. Lots of kitchen supplies, bowls, spoons, pots/pans, tupperware, air frier etc. Fully stocked in that manner. Beach chairs and fun stuff for the kids for the beach available. Lots of bathing towels. Washer and drier worked well. Beds are comfy. TV's in all bedrooms. Pool is very big. Easy beach access. Very clean and big beach area.
There wasn't any coffee supplies (coffee, sugar etc) or spices, salt/pepper. No beach towels either in the condo. Grocery store is close by and lots of great dining options. Overall very nice stay.

Awesome South Padre Vacation
The condo was one of the best we have stayed in at the Sapphire! Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals when we didn’t want to go out. There were plenty of toys, chairs, coolers, etc to use at the beach. The washer and dryer worked very well. The view from the 19th floor can’t be beat! The owner was very responsive when we called for assistance. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit South Padre!

Perfect Condo with an amazing view
We loved everything about our stay! The view was amazing, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need including a Keurig! The condo was perfect for our family of 6 (two adults and four teens). The location was great with an easy walk to the beach! The condo was very clean and well taken care of! Everything about this unit was wonderful. Clean and bright, tall ceilings, amazing view. Comfortable seating. Great appliances. We loved the 19th floor view- fantastic, open patio, which seems to be somewhat particular to this floor, because the patio from the floor above does not extend over it. Beautiful open sky. Also, the pool at the Sapphire is the best. We will rent again for sure! Thank you for a wonderful vacation with my family!

Unfortunately because of COVID-19 we had to cancel this vacation, but The communication with the owners of this unit was absolutely amazing. They were so kind and so easy to work with. When things start to open back up we will absolutely come back in book this unit again.

The Sapphire is a beautiful complex right in the beach and centrally located.
Debbie, Arnie, and Regina were fantastic to work with. We accidentally booked the wrong week and were on our way to the Island when we discovered it. They were so helpful in making the change to accommodate us.

Nice getaway
Upon entering #1908, it was immaculately clean. Air conditioning works very well. Appliances worked well. Washer/dryer are fast and work well. Disappointed there was not a Keurig, but the coffee pot was easy to use. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. All we had to do was purchase our preferred food and drinks. Beds were very comfortable. The master bed mattress is extremely soft, which worried me at first - but it was wonderful. Bathrooms are well stocked with tons of towels and washcloths. Bath and BodyWorks travel size gift sets with soap, shampoo/conditioner are provided, which was a very nice touch. Hot water and shower pressure are good! No issues there at all. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan. The 2 smaller rooms also have a portable/floor fan. Closets are great! 6 Boogie boards, 6 beach chairs, 2 Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas, sand toys, and some other beach toys are in one of the closets. THAT WAS A HUGE BONUS!!!!! The only tiny issue we had was with the boogie boards. Most of them are broken and not usable. That wasn’t too big of a problem at all. The balcony with the grill is across the hallway and is a communal space. I’m not sure anyone ever used it, but it is nice to have. Really I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the condo itself. It was terrific for our group of mom, dad, and 4 teenage boys. All thumbs up!!!
Due to COVID 19, The property had closed down the teen room, workout room, spa, and movie room. That was a big disappointment to miss out on those amenities. I’m sure they’re great.
The pool area is AMAZING!!! We did not rent a cabana, but they are $125 daily. Don’t forget your beach/pool towels.
One thing the building DESPERATELY NEEDS to do is spray for mosquitoes. They are everywhere and HUGE!!!!! All of us came home with lots and lots of bites. We used bug spray, mosquito bands and even put dryer sheets in our pockets, but nothing deterred them. Yuck. That is not a condo issue, but the actual Sapphire building. We did let them know our concern.

Great experience as always at the Sapphire Towers.
Unfortunate that the pool was unavailable for the entire weekend, but these are uncharted times.
We had a great time regardless and would recommend this condo without hesitation.

Great beach location
This is our second time staying at the sapphire, but first time in this unit. Great spot. We did have a little snag when we arrived, but management dealt with it and offered to make it right. I know sometimes things happen, and it’s how you deal with it that makes a difference, and they were communicative and responsive, so I would stay there again.

Excellent all around
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely condo! Everything was so clean and the amenities for a fun family stay are so well-thought out. We had a couple of issues (a broken shade in the living room when we arrived, no beach towels), but those issues were resolved within minutes of us reporting them. Wow! Such a great location, condo, pool, and management company. We definitely will book this again.

Wonderful family time
The Condo is very clean, spacious, well equipped for our family. We enjoyed seeing the sun rise in the morning and watching all the beach activities during the day. The pool is so well maintained, clean and guests are all well behaved. The kitchen is well stocked so we had breakfast and lunch at the Condo daily and dinner out. We will definitely return!

Best I Have Been To....
First the only way to go when renting a vacation place is through VRBO. The property was in excellent condition, just as the pictures depicted, easy check-in, no noise from outside activities, or next door, and can not say enough about the property owners - Arnie and Debbie Creinin - I only had to call one time for a slight problem and it was fixed within an hour. Communications to the owners was direct, did not have to go to a third party - My wife and I chose this property due to the location (mainly for our granddaughter) next to Schlitterbahn - so my son-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter could go off and do their things and my wife and I could just relax - in the condo, pool, or beach. The condo had all the amenities you could think of - gym, theater, and game room. We had everything we needed. It was very close to different restaurants and activities. What impressed me was the on-duty guards in the parking garage and entrance/exit to the beach - insuring that you belonged their. Again - money well spent and highly recommend this condo. We have been to Padre Island several time in the past and tried other condos and hotels - this does not compare. Thank You - Arnie and Debbie Creinin for Everything......We will be back

A fantastic family vacation
This was our first time to visit a Texas beach as we usually opt for Orange Beach, Seaside or Destin and had set expectations lower having received negative comments from friends regarding the quality of Texas beaches and dining and entertainment options. However, all that changed the second we arrived. The property is exactly as pictured and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The view from the unit was amazing and the property pool options and beach bar offered a nice break from the waves. The beach’s are more crowded then we’re used too but they had plenty of white sand and at no point were an issue. Lastly the property management company did a terrific job of answering all our questions in a very timely manner and welcoming us upon arrival. Be sure to check out Wanna Wanna, Pier 19, Sea Ranch, and Amazing Adventures for family horseback riding. It’s so nice to know we have a new beach option closer to home. Great job.

THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE I STAYED THAT HAS ALL THE KITCHEN APPLIANCES AND TOOLS YOU CAN THINK OF. AND MORE, I WAS SURPRISED THAT THERE WERE A LOT OF EVERYTHING. WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND BIG. THE ONLY THING I WISH IT HAD, WAS A RESTROOM FOR EVERY ROOM.

Beautiful Property - Bad circumstance
The Sapphire Condos are a beautiful piece of property and our Condo was no exception. Our Condo was not only beautiful it was also very well appointed, the kitchen was well equipped for rental property. There were beach toys, extra chairs and other extra's that made the rental a very nice choice.
Unfortunately, the weather was such that any outside activity was undesirable. That certainly is not the fault of the Sapphire Towers.
But, given the weather, it would of been a good week to have the "theater room" working which was, "out of order."
More importantly, the Sapphire towers are a 29 story structure, and when we arrived one of the only two elevators was out of service This meant longer waits for an elevator ride up or down. And, the day before we were to leave the second, and only other, elevator also quit working. That meant 29 floors of guests were left, on their own, to make their way up and down a back stairwell. We happened to be on the 19th floor, sure glad it wasn't the 29th. Negotiating 19 floors of steps carrying infants, luggage and yourself was a challenge with no help or compassion from management. The big problem, in my opinion, is that Management did too little to expedite repair of the first set of elevators that went out of service and instead seemed satisfied to simply say "we are waiting on parts." Had Management insisted the first set of elevators be repaired quickly, the failure of the 2nd set of elevators would not have been critical. No one worked on the first set of elevators, at all, during our stay. The area is a regional HQ for Fed EX, I can not accept the "waiting for parts" excuse as a defense for this failure.
In the lobby sat a gentleman that was simply unable to climb the steps to his room, so there he sat. When I returned from dinner, there he still sat. This was an unacceptable situation. Management's assistance or offer to accommodate inconvenienced guests was absent. As long as you paid your rent, it appeared their life was the same, even if you carry you luggage and kids up and down 19 floors of a back stairwell,(that's 38 half flights).
One additional comment, the VRBO listing indicated that each Condo had a balcony facing east (the Gulf) and west for viewing of both sunrise and sunsets. I did not find that to be true. We did have a balcony facing the Gulf and if you looked hard against the building you could catch a small glimpse of the entrance to the bay, that's all.

Excellent Accommodations
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was bright and spacious; everything we needed was provided down to the chairs for the beach. We spent one day just at the pool where we rented one of the cabanas. It was quite peaceful and relaxing The pool is exquisite. We would definitely like to return next year. Thank you for a great vacation.
