Property was located in perfect area right next to the beach and the stay could not have been better. We had several baby's and several people and we all agreed this was the best House we have rented in South Padre! Will definitely be using them again!

This home was better than expected. We had 4 families and one with middle aged kids. This three story home allowed for the 2nd story to be used without waking up others sleeping on the 3rd and 1st level.
The place was really clean and the home has new outside decking and the home has been well cared for. We had trouble with the AC for the first 3 days.. it was not cooling well. But the management company was excellent. They ended up replacing the one of the AC's while we were there one day. Problems sometimes will happend but you judge a place by how the owner/management company handles the problem..Way to go Amber.
A note.. there is a great great game room where we all played different games of our own thoughout the week. There is one bedroom and private bath next to the game room. It could be used for kids but adults too. Just make sure who ever gets this room that they understand its next to a game room. So I would suggest giving this room to someone who stay up late. It worked well for us but just a thought I had.
The house has so many applicances like crock pot, blender, coffee grinder and more. Well equipped.
We would stay here again!!! Our sons and their wives rated our trip a 10 and the place we stayed a 10.
Lastly, the pool and hottub were great...very clean. The owners really have set up the home so you don't have to do alot of clean up when you checkout.

Property was able to house our family comfortably. Even though 3rd floor never really “cooled” we were able to use in house fans to help alleviate the situation. I was a bit put out by the fact that a pool person “stranger” (to us) entered the property in the morning and startled us, in addition to lawn maintenance people on property while we were trying to gather our things blowing grass in parts we were occupying

We were in such awe of the Salty Times house our entire stay. The attention to detail of the interior, you can tell the owners take great pride in their home. Everything was nicely done and an abundance of amenities. We loved the travel crib, the 2 sets of washer and dryers, the 3 refrigerators, the beautiful game room, the nice new wrap around deck, the pool and the outdoor shower. Nothing was lacking and it was nice we really did not need to bring much with us because many things were provided. We look forward to coming back again and making more family memories. Make sure to bring shampoo/soap and expect a lot of going up and down stairs.

Everything about this home was wonderful. The views were perfect, the location was perfect and the house was perfect.
Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, 2 sets of washers/dryers, 3 full sized refrigerators/freezers, and a separate ICE machine.
It is a 3 story home and I had lots of exercise going up and down steps every day which had an added bonus of allowing us to eat a plentiful amount of food and lose weight at the same time. 😆
Master bed was extremely comfortable. Other beds are comfy if you prefer softer beds.
Will definitely stay here again next time we visit South Padre.

We had a great experience. The house was clean, spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of. It also included nice beach towels, extra linens, fans, air mattress, beach toys, chairs for the beach, wagon, cooler and more. The location was perfect. Steps away from the beach and a close to walk to several restaurants on the water, and souvenir shops. Also had a great view of the sunrise on the top floor balcony. The hosts were amazing to work with and responded immediately to our questions.

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures depicted. The weather during our stay wasn't very warm, but the heated pool and hot tub were a great way to enjoy the outdoors with our children and grandchildren. Salty Times location is so convenient for walking to multiple restaurants, stores and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the management staff to be very responsive and timely in replying to our questions. We would highly recommend this property to other families!

The whole experience staying at Salty Times was perfect! First off the pictures do no justice to the home, the house is beautiful, well decorated and was very clean. I loved how the balcony wrapped around the whole house. The house has EVERYTHING you will possibly need for your stay. Excellent communication! We thoroughly enjoyed this property! Being able to go to the beach and hang out at the pool with all of our little ones (8 adults and seven kids under 7 yoa!) worked out very well. It would be nice to have a gate for the stairs. Also, we never saw a welcome packet. My family was a little worried about the metal plates and cups having rusty spots.
We hope to come back again for another family gathering!

The house and the pool & hot tub were amazing. The location was very convenient - close to the beach and to the shuttle service that runs on the main road. We had a group of 14 people - 8 adults and 6 kids - and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cookware. We could have used a better frying pan, but made do with what was there. This is our third family vacation and everyone thought this one was the best so far! We would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Times. The house was spacious and gave all of us many options for individual spaces and group fun. The guys loved the game room and the shuffleboard. The hot tub was great during that cold blast of winter. And tho the temps weren’t what was needed for a long day at the beach, the provisions for beach outings was awesome.

1. The staircase down to the 2nd level and ground level was concerning. Need additional lighting so we could see the steps. Had 3 family members miss a step and fall.
2. When at the pool need to walk thru the bottom bedroom to use bathroom. Seems easy enough but with all the people we had there they are going through with all our personal belongings around.
3. Bathroom downstairs had a soap dispenser that was filled with wrong refill so had to uncap to use the hand soap. The dispenser was a foaming soap and the refill was just liquid.
4. Steep stairs on the outside down to the pool.
5. If u have older people - over 55 then reconsider this property. We would look for something easier to get around rather than levels and levels of stairs.
6. The fabulous part - minutes to walk to the beach. The pool was clean, cool water and refreshing. Kitchen was large enough so a lot of ppl can be in there preparing snacks and drinks. The dining room table is also very large to play card games and snack. A beautiful weekend at the beach.

We can not say enough about our stay at the SPI home of Jack and LuAnn Gilmore’s-known as J and L’s Salty Times. The home itself is beautiful, the access to the beach is great, and the customer service from their team is top notch!
The house is equipped with everything anyone could possibly need while on vacation. We were so impressed with the openness of the home, as well as the super equipped kitchen, down to the beach towels provided for our stay. They did not miss a beat with providing everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. The master bedroom was very large with enough space for clothing to be hung in the walk in closet, as well as being furnished with a dresser and a wardrobe. One of our daughters also used our space for clothes as she was staying in the smaller room with bunk beds. The master bath was also amazing!
The customer service while we were vacationing was one of the very best we have experienced! Amber gave us her direct phone number in case we needed anything. There were a few minor things we contacted her about, and she was on top of it! For example, the hot tub was not warming up to what it needed to. She had the person there to repair it in no time. While he was there he noticed the pool looked a little cloudy. He added what he needed to fix it right away.(all of this occurred while the family was enjoying the beach) The handle of the beach wagon was broken when we went to the beach the first day. It wasn’t long and there was a new wagon at the home for us to use. One more very minor thing. We were told there was a crock pot in the kitchen before we came. We were planning a meal that needed two crock pots, so when we could not find the one, Amber sent Bonnie to help look. She then asked my mom if she wanted to go to Walmart with her so Bonnie could purchase a new crock pot to have at the house. Not only was it amazing they bought the crock pot, but it was also very thoughtful to take my mom along with her.
We absolutely loved staying at Jack and LuAnn’s home! We have been vacationing at SPI for many years, and this was the very first time the entire family stayed under one roof.(we’ve always stayed in separate condos) We enjoyed eating together at the large table and chairs after cooking some meals in the lovely kitchen. And the wrap around balconies…the views were the best! We can’t say thanks enough for helping to make our vacation so spectacular!!😍🏖☀️🌴

We had a great stay! Location was perfect right around the corner. Pool and hot tub were amazing! Pool was too hot the first day to get in but after a text they came and adjusted temperature right away. Master shower is beautiful but water pressure was too low. Water is hot as well. Wrap around balconies with great ocean views. We stayed 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend.

Salty Times was great for our family. It is very close to a beach access point. The house was clean when we arrived and everything was in good repair. Our only issue is that it did take a few hours for the upstairs floor to cool down. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with plenty of fridge space in the multiple refrigerators. The ample parking was appreciated. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful home, stayed with my sister’s families and parents. The game room was a huge bonus! Great location for the fireworks from balcony. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and utensils. We didn’t use but home had plenty of beach equipment if needed. The home owners were very responsive and pleasant to work with. Will book again!

BEST vacation home ever!
We had a short, but long overdue, mini vacation to S Padre this week with family. We had the best time. The house was amazing. We had originally planned to go out and enjoy the water park one day but when we realized how much more fun we could have at the house, we decided to stay in. We all enjoyed the pool, the game room and just the ability to spread out in the house. We’ve stayed at a few different houses in different locations before…but this was, hands down, the best one for sure. The owners/property mgmt company were so responsive to our questions and their hospitality was second to none. Thanks for making our family trip one to remember!
