The theme of light and bright is realized with mainly creamy whites and aquamarine blues to lend a feeling of calm.... complimented with splashes of bright, happy colors that exude FUN! This unit is a desirable END unit. No one is above, below, or on one side!!

Walk out the door and you are within 1 block of one of California's most desired beaches- a six mile stretch of white sand with a well designed boardwalk for walking or running. Explore the unique boutiques, restaurants and entertainment just steps away in Carlsbad Village. Outdoor concerts, unique shopping, fabulous restaurants, street fairs, and even a marathon are a sampling of the varied activities to enjoy.

The condo feels fresh and clean with new everything! We have tile floors in the main living area/bathroom, and warmer wood floors in the bedroom. Sink into the new king size bed with high quality mattress and linens to feel totally cozy and comfortable. There is also a high quality, slipcovered queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

If you want a good location for access to beach, bars and restaurants, this is a perfect place. The supply of beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards was a nice feature! However, be prepared for train whistles. Would stay here again!

We loved our month long stay at this location. Best part: we were a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk into the Village. The unit was clean and comfortably updated. We cooked at home many nights and there was adequate cookware to enable it. The shared laundry has an app so I did not have to hoard quarters, which was nice. As others have said, there is a train that runs right through Carlsbad. You’ll hear it. But we enjoyed being able to walk to the train and took it quite a few times into Encinitas, O-Side and San Diego. We loved it here and will stay at this rental again.

Very happy with the stay. Close to beach, close to village restaurants. Well stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Wish it was not so close to the train tracks as the Coaster starts early in the morning, but obviously not something the owner controls.

The condo was very clean with all the necessary appliances. It was in a top floor private location. Stores and restaurants and the beach were just a short walk away. Onsite parking was provided. Great owner. Hope to stay in this condo in the future.

The location is great. The condo was clean and well stocked. Timothy was great to work with. Our only cons were the train runs all night. By the 4th day, we kind of got used to it. The other con was the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Other than that, great place to stay.

The condo is in a great location, owner is very responsive, the kitchen has everything you need and the place is well maintained and clean. An awesome condo, we will be back next year. We stayed 2 weeks.

We like to make a getaway between Thanksgiving & Christmas. This year we stayed in Carlsbad at the Light & Bright property for the first time. We loved it. Great location, easy walking distance to all amenities, the beach, and easy access to the Coaster train if you'd like a trip into San Diego (e.g. step off at Old Town). Very nice condo with all that you need, including a parking space.

Our second time staying at this location. Highly recommend this second floor unit. Privacy plus, as not unit under it and only one unit next to it. Unit was clean, comfortable large king bed, well supplied with everything you need for your stay. Communication excellent with owner. Have fun

The Condo was exactly what we expected ! Very comfortable and clean. Only suggestion, in the description of the rental information, make sure guest realize your need to be okay with climbing stairs. Condo is located on the second floor. Other then that an amazing Condo. Its walking distance of tons of shops, restaurants, liquor store and a 7-Eleven right on the corner. Thanks Timothy ! We throughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was so cutely decorated with a very beach vibe. The condo was well appointed and was stocked extremely well for cooking meals. Such a bonus to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. We come to Carlsbad every summer for a week and multiple times a year for a long weekend. We will definitely be booking with this property again in the near future. The proximity to everything in the village was amazing and the beach a short one block walk. Everything was perfect!!

The one-bedroom condo was convenient both to the beach and the grandboys. It was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. One night of restaurant music until 10 pm and occasional train noise, but we slept like babies. We had everything we needed. It was a great week!

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. The unit was updated, clean, very comfortable experience for our three week stay. Communication with the owner was timely and good. We have stayed in this area for our fourth time. We love it because we love to walk, five minutes to the beach, a beautiful walk along the ocean, about 2 1/2 miles each way. Carlsbad Village also about a five minute walk to many restaurants to choose from. Grocery store about a mile away from unit. Highly recommend this unit and area for a great stay. Have fun

We found this place to be attractive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had everything needed to cook a meal. It was a short walk to many places to eat and a short distance to the beach. An added bonus was a dedicated parking spot. I would recommend it to a friend. The owners were very thoughtful in decorating this rental.

Adorable condo in the heart of Carlsbad. Walking distance to restaurants, beach, shopping and even pickleball! I really appreciate renting something that is well cared for and spotlessly clean! The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and lots of beach supplies are provided. Pickleball is available at the church down the street with open play several days a week.

The condo was perfect for a couple. Well stocked beautiful condo with comfortable living and sleeping furniture, short walking distance to village and beach in a peaceful little community. Great communication with owners. It is a little close to train tracks (maybe 500 ft away - hear them but doesn't shake building or anything) and lively outdoor restaurant/bar so a little noisy on occasion (bar only really noisy on Fri&Sat nights) but nothing that significantly detracted from our very enjoyable stay. We really appreciated the A/C to cut the late afternoon heat/humidity, but otherwise kept windows open. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this condo! We’ve stayed in this complex before, it’s the perfect location within walking distance to the village and the beach, and lots of great restaurants. This is by far our favorite condo we’ve stayed in. It’s renovated and decorated so cute, and has a fully stocked kitchen as far as anything you might need if you wanted to cook meals. The location is on the end as well, so no one walking by your door and quiet. We’ll definitely be renting here again!

This property is a hidden gem. Excellent location and all the amenities needed for longer stays. We have rented different units at this address and this unit is our favorite. I really enjoyed staying at the property for my 30th high school reunion. My goal was to be able to go to the beach as often as possible and shop/eat throughout the village. Everything was perfect, and I love the restaurants and shops that are only a few short blocks away. Carlsbad will always be "home" and it was nice to stay at a place that felt like home as well.

Great location being so close to downtown and the beach. It was super clean and my 4 year old had a great time. The house was nicely renovated. We had an awesome week and will be booking there again in the future.
