Rented this house for a couple days with 8 guys and it was perfect. Shared bathrooms was the only downside and the property isn't in pristine condition (typical beach town stuff) but overall highly recommend.

Poor experience due to nonfunctional spa, heat, garage lift, refrigerator water and no action to fix any of them the 3 days we were there. I flew in my 8 grandsons from MI and highly disappointed. I am requesting a 50 % rebate.

The spaces were wonderful - great views and enough flexibility to house our large family and make everyone happy. Fun to gather on common spaces, and enough room to get some alone time as needed. There is great need for repair and replacement. Stained carpets in some locations, some mechanicals and security elements were not working or not present as represented in promotional material. Any small additions requested were quoted at very high prices (2 hour early check in at close to $500, so we felt like cash cows to the agency at times. Quick responses to calls/texts regarding maintenance issues and the maintenance folks were great and helpful. Being owners of second homes we understand wear and tear in rentals, but this property went way beyond that in needs for remodeling of some key spaces. Loved the sound of the ocean right outside our bedroom windows!

This house is a great location and tons of room for everyone! The house was we'll stocked with plenty of the the basics for our stay. Due to the excessive heat while we were there we ran into some air conditioning issues, which the property management did their best to fix. They were super responsive. Note if you are going during the heat of the summer, the house only has a few in room air conditioners it is not central, and there are 6 bedrooms that do not have AC at all.

This property is excellent for large groups. The location is great. There is no beach here, but during low tide you can go down some stairs to the water. Overall the house had all that we needed. Some of the rooms can be hot at night since there is no central air. Small desk fans are provided, but I’d suggest bringing a bigger box fan if you run hot at night. For the price I would expect everything to be in perfect working order and top notch, and not everything was. The hot tub had two jets not working so was more of a hot still bath. They sent someone to look at it, but he couldn’t fix it on the spot. The garage car lifts were not working, so we only had insight parking for three cars. Thankfully there is street parking on the weekends. And the microwave handle was broken when we got there. These didn’t bother our group too much, but you would expect more from a company that charges so much money for the rental. Also, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The stuff provided smells like sulfur. I would stay here again because of the location is gorgeous and the size of the place for our large group was perfect, but I hope the company fixes these few issues and I hope these notes help others know what to expect!

We loved the number of bedrooms so we could all have our own. Loved the location to the ocean, could watch dolphins from time to time. Could boogie board at low tide. Loved 2 kitchens and 3 refrigerators. Great for big group.

Great experience
Had a great time in San Diego at the property. A lot of my group had to drop out last minute and Beachfront Rentals were so supportive and assistive in finding a smaller rental for us and giving me credit for the difference. Made the whole experience stress free during COVID uncertainty.

Family Vacation
We enjoyed a week at this beautiful property. Great location, great access to the beach. Stairs are a little scary the first time but you get used
to it. Lots of room and 3 balconies. The kitchen has everything! Some of the rooms were a little warm but mine was great! We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Property at the Beach
The property was in the perfect location. As advertised our 22 person party really did have enough beds and space to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was set up to be able to feed our large party with no trouble (enough plates, silverware, glasses, and pans). Overall it was an excellent property!!!

We were absolutely impressed with this location and home for a family reunion.
Wonderful location and beautiful home that accommodated our family very comfortably with great open spaces and very comfortable bedrooms. Bathrooms were exceptional and adjacent to everyone bedroom. Highly recommend this home.

Great location
Great location right on the beach and plenty of space for 8 people to have a work retreat. The inside is definitely built/decorated to be a vacation rental but with 5 separate levels, plenty of bedrooms & bathroom and incredible views, it's overall a great rental.

Enjoyed the location right on the water! Plenty of space for our staff retreat. Along with the ocean, we loved the fire ring and hot tub! Spent a lot of time with the large glass doors open to hear the ocean's roar when we were inside and made plenty of use of the different levels of balcony seating.

Incredible Beachfront Property
This is an absolutley beautiful house right on the beach in Oceanside. All of the doors open to reveal unrestricted views of the ocean, and the two balconies are large and perfect for hanging out outside. The managing company is very responsive as well. The only problems we had with this house is it does need a little more attention to detail in the upkeep department. Both of the car elevators in the garage were broken, so we could only part 1 car in the garage instead of the advertised 4. That in addition to some of the fireplaces and remotes not working seemed odd in a place of this high caliber. Overall did not effect our stay, and we highly recommend it.

The location of this property is exceptional and overall, we did enjoy our stay. The issue and I see this all the time with vacation rentals, is the house is tired and poorly maintained. Both the oven and dishwasher weren't functioning and had to be repaired -- how is this not checked prior to every visit? How can you open an umbrella and have it literally crumble on you or have the hot tub locked at 108 degrees with no instructions to modify? Why would you say a home has A/C when only 1/3rd of it actually does and even those wall units only partially function? Property managers and owners make great money with vacation rentals. Both parties need to take time to make sure the home is in good working condition, top to bottom, every single visit. I'm in the real estate business and specialize in VHR's in Lake Tahoe, so don't think it's just this house -- it's most of them and it never ceases to amaze me. And lastly, if a PM knows that a guest had a rough experience, do something for them! Offer a discount, a free meal, a formal apology, something! I will say that the PM on this property was responsive to repairs and that was appreciated, BUT the issue is having to deal with it in the first place.

This was our third year renting this house and we had another great vacation. The house accommodated all 15 of us and is in a great location. As always, the house was clean and ready on time. We had minor mechanical issues, but all were addressed by the Beachfront staff quickly. Oceanside is a gem of a town with so much to offer an active family. We will be back!

Walking distance to breakfast, lunch, coffee, some bars, or only about 1.5 mile walk to village of Carlsbad main shopping district.

Beautifully appointed, recently renovated large home right on the beach.Expansive views of ocean, surf, sky, sunsets from every level of the home. From the beach level you can step out onto a beach side patio. A few steps more and you are walking along the surf. A large and fully equipped kitchen is part of an at home experience. Short distance to groceries, restaurants, and pubs.

This is our fourth time renting this house. The house is in need of repair and updated. It used to have wonderful kitchen supplies, dishes, bowls, pots and pans and now there are hardly any there. There was water damage on the walls in the downstairs room. Mold! The cleaners left vomit in one bedroom, it was on the walls, headboard and baseboard, the room smelled horrible. The Management company was responsive to all of our complaints and did manage to get someone out to clean the room after we had been in the house for a day and half. I have always enjoyed this house and the location is awesome. Unfortunately it is run-down and needs some work. I would not recommend this house in the condition it is in today.

For a property with a premium price it sure is not a premium place. There are many issues with the place. First is the garage. Only one door would open. The garbage had not been dumped (We had to call about both)There is no way you could park 2 midsize cars let alone 4! The lift is not at all practical and makes it so that only compact cars fit! For a home advertising to large groups The rooms are small and very poorly ventilated. Even the kitchen prep and eating areas are very cramped (Can opener was broken and so was the hand mixer) There is no AC on the mid floor The showers on the top street side have no pressure. There is blue painters tape holding in the sliding glass door and the front windows are strained awful between the panes. The patio area tan umbrella is broken and dangerous. The hot tub cover cannot be latched down and the sand area had very little sand. I would not recommend this rental to friends. The on the beach location made it very nice. All and all a very disappointing place!!
