perfect stay

An absolutely stunning place to stay just wished we had more time there to enjoy it ! Will defo be back to stay again. spacious rooms all amenities you could need and so clean. the views are amazing and the most comfortable beds ever .

Lovely cosy place

The house is fantastic, clearly newly renovated with all the comforts. Lots of attention to detail and very cosy, the kitchen was fully equipped, we only stayed for a couple of nights but would have loved to stay longer! The house is very close to Keswick and a great base for exploring the Lake District.

It is perhaps difficult to access without a car, but I imagine most people visiting the lakes will be driving anyway so it wasn't really a problem for us!

James was super responsive to questions. The flat was absolutely lovely, comfortable, and immaculately clean…with spectacular views and terrific amounts of information provided about things to do in the area. Can’t recommend The Haven highly enough!!

The views, the house was lovely and cosy, also was clean and welcoming, the host was very help and just a phone call away, I recommend this place to everyone. Will be back soon.

beautiful views, cosy and comfortable house.

The property was in a beautiful location with views from almost every window. my favourite was the view from the velux window in the upstairs bedroom where I could get an almost 360 degree view when open. Everywhere was immaculate and the owner had provided lots of extras like tea, coffee, games, walking books etc. Beds really comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. Keswick is only a 7 minute drive away where there are lots of shops restaurants and takeaways. If you are staying here make sure your cars hand brake is in good working order. I found mine wasn’t when I tried to park on the steep drive. However I was able to park across the entrance to the drive quite safely.

Great location and comfort.

Having stayed there before I knew what to expect, I didn't see the hosts because there were no issues. I asked my two sons who were there what they thought, their answer was 'we look forward to coming back', that answers all questions.

location and cleanliness superb

missing laundry liquid and when we asked for just 1 load worth this wasn’t available. In kitchen missing serving spoons and roasting fork.

Amazing, beautiful, cosy, warm and perfect

everything from start to finish. The view was absolutely breathtaking. House was clean and very lovely. Even set up balloons as was my best friends birthday night away :) absolutely 10000% recommend x
