Summary:
Blue Sky Lodge offers enough space for a large group/family but is intimate enough for a single family to enjoy. National Forest in your backyard gives you the privacy and access to trails that make for a true mountain getaway. With onsite amenities like a hot tub, grill, sledding, snowshoeing, and other backyard games you might not want to leave!

-- Outdoor Space: Large outdoor deck off the kitchen with a gas grill, as well as a deck on the side of the house that is available in the Summer.

-- Dining: Seating for 6 at the table and another 5 at the island
-- Laundry: Private in-home washer/dryer
-- Parking: Oversized 2 car garage, plus outdoor parking (Regulations limit us to 5 vehicles on the property)

-- Air Conditioning: NO. Due to the mild high alpine climate, many properties are not equipped with air conditioning.
GETTING AROUND:
This home is located in the Breckenridge Heights neighborhood. There is no shuttle service to this location, so guests can drive to the free parking lot on airport road or the paid lot right next to the Gondola.
PARKING: We are allowed to have up to 5 vehicles parked at the house. Parking in Breckenridge is strictly enforced. To avoid towing or a ticket adhere to posted signs and parking allocations at all times. If you need additional parking for more cars, paid overnight parking is provided by the Town of Breckenridge in two areas of town, 1) south of town at the Stephen West Ice Arena and 2) north of town (also accepts RVs and trailers) at the Airport Road satellite parking lot.
What to be aware of:
- AWD/4WD may be required in Winter conditions, and is required by law on I-70 during a storm.
- There are exterior cameras that monitor driveway conditions during heavy Winter snowfall, as well as animal activity (bears, moose, etc.) for the benefit & safety of our guests. The cameras are on the front of the house and incapable of viewing/recording guests in private spaces.

We loved the property. There was a ton of sleeping options for our large group, the house was beautiful, and the garage was huge for multiple cars. Location worked very well for us, a short drive into everything in town. Would definitely book again.

We used this property for a business retreat for 12. The couches, chairs and beds were incredibly comfortable. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, towels, space. Extra refrigerator in the garage was helpful. Property manager was very responsive. I would stay here again. If you have a larger group, my recommendation is pack extra toilet paper, dish soap, kitchen towels. The kitchen appliances were well stocked. Great coffee pot, Ninja blender, larger toaster. Plenty of plates, cups, serviceware.

The property is very nice. We noted a few up-keep faults that need to be fixed. Some of the furniture and lamps need attention (couch pillows are worn out and dirty; bedroom lamps are missing parts and have loose components; outdoor grill surfaces were caked with residue; one kitchen stove burner did not light). The dining area is small for the number of guests. There needs to be a "mud room" or area to suit up and boot up; don't want to use the dining area next to the garage door. Install a bench and coat rack with shelfs in a heated cloak room in the garage to the left side of the entrance door (where the wine fridge sits). Sidewalks to the front door need to be shoveled and cleared of ice. But all in all a very nice property for a week log stay.

Great property with responsive management company.
Truly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was modern, large with plenty of amenities to cook all types of meals. Everything worked as advertised, especially the hot tub. Management company was very user friendly and responsive. It snowed while we there and they immediately plowed the driveway. They even met up with me to return items I forgot in the house. Would highly recommend!

Can't say enough about the house / about the property Mgmnt!
We were a group of 10. 6 adults and 4 young adults. The young adults stayed in the fully finished basement bedrooms with plenty of space and their own very nice bathroom. The 6 adults (3 couples) stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and shared 2 very nice bathrooms. House is of HIGH quality all around! Immaculate hot tub and heated floors in the bathrooms were "icing on the cake". Would absolutely come back and or rent another property from this management team! Like other reviewers have stated: 4 wheel drive vehicles a must in the winter months - driveway is steep.

Plenty of room for our family!
This home was lovely and had plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 7 children. It was very well equipped, and we enjoyed the hot tub. The commute to the ski slopes was close.

Excellent location and ample space for large groups
My party of 14 really enjoyed our stay here. The property is fairly private and large enough to give us all our own space. I enjoyed having the bedrooms on multiple floors, especially since we have young kids who woke up throughout the night. The hot tub was very clean (professionally maintained) and relaxing.
Note: If you stay here in the winter, I highly suggest having 4wd/awd vehicles since the driveway is steep and may be difficult to get out with 2wd.

Charming town and lots of space
We had a wonderful stay. The town was charming and the house location offered easy access. The place itself was beautiful landhouse style, just as pictured. We had plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was superb. We also thoroughly enjoyed what looks to be a brand new hot tub. Overall, fantastic trip and accommodation. Thank you!

Fantastic overall
Awesome place. Very comfortable for our large family. Close to town. Nice trails back right up to the house. All the amenities top notch. Definitely hope to stay here again.
