This house easily accommodated young and old. We had a great week of relaxation and loved the packet put together with the recommendations. Everyone enjoyed feeding the animals and fish, and it was especially memorable for the kids. The location was a perfect distance from Asheville that allowed for us to have a quiet place to relax and make memories as a family.

The property manager was amazing. The place was clean and as advertised. It could use a little update but nothing that would cause me to give anything lower than a 5 star review. I would certainly return!

My family converged on Fairview from RI, SC, and FL for a summer vacation. Communication with the owner before, during, and after our stay was exceptional. He was responsive to our requests and inquiries. The property was quite peaceful and spacious for our party of eight. I enjoyed my coffee on the porch in the cool mountain air. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace made for lovely evenings as well. My sons woke each morning anxious to visit the koi ponds and the farm animals, too! The donkeys and goats came running over for carrots, while the chickens offered fresh eggs for breakfast. When considering outdoor activities, whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River is just over an hour away in TN, and Asheville is a short 15-minute drive. We also found a fantastic playground in Montreat with a creek running through it. Not to be missed is an Amish store just up the road with alpacas, Amish goods, and made-to-order sandwiches! We visited each day of our stay. If you need to relax and unwind after a full day of hiking and tubing, you can arrange for an on-site massage. First thing in the morning with the waterfall in the background was idyllic. I cannot say enough about my experience in Fairview. It was quite lovely and I’d be delighted with a return visit.

Frank was a wonderful host. Accommodations were just as described and offered enough space for our 7 adults and 2 year old granddaughter. Hot tub and outdoor fireplace made for a very relaxing evening. Grounds were beautiful (flowers, mini waterfalls, koi pond) and well kept. My granddaughter loved feeding carrots to the animals. We loved relaxing in the hammocks. Close to Asheville and other attractions. Would definitely stay there again!

This property is amazing and the owners are wonderful, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. Our family was in the area to visit a camp that one of our children will be attending later this summer. Our children fell in love with this property because of all the farm animals on the property. My wife and I loved it because the kids had the downstairs all to themselves, allowing us to get a few extra winks in the morning. What we loved: 1) Meeting Frank (the owner). Frank met us at the property upon our arrival. He spent the time to orient us to the property, share info about the restaurants, sights, and attractions in the area and share all about the horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and koi to our children. They were in heaven. He left giving our kids a jar of fish food to feed the koi. 2) The house. The property is a very private and secluded house, on a working farm, and we loved opening the fridge and seeing 18 farm fresh eggs, along with fresh ground coffee (which was welcomed since I had forgotten my bag of coffee at home). The house is really well designed and the kids loved having the downstairs all to themselves where they slept, and enjoyed all the games in the playroom. We all enjoyed the outdoor hearth for smore's after our long days. 3) The area. From the property your literally 20 minutes to everything. This includes outdoor recreation areas, restaurants, and Asheville. We can't wait to get back!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. The property is absolutely stunning and so well thought out. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and provide so many options to relax and enjoy the nature around you. Having fresh eggs from the chickens in our fridge was a sweet surprise, especially since we took advantage of having a full kitchen and had most of our meals at the house. The spacious deck provided the perfect place to dine outside. The house itself was beautiful and so unique. We loved all the special touches and our host made sure to walk us through when we arrived so we knew where everything was. The fireplace provided the perfect background for game nights in the spacious living room. And everyone had space to spread out with all the sleeping options. I truly could not recommend this property more. We all wished we had booked a longer stay and agreed we will 100% be coming back!
