This family home has been lovingly designed and decorated. From walls to flooring, kitchen cabinets to granite counter tops and stainless appliances, Therapedic mattresses to comfy furniture, it has been furnished for enjoyment, relaxation, and comfort.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by a tropical garden leading to the front porch. There, you can relax in its shade and enjoy the fragrance of seasonal blossoms and birds songs. As you enter the house, you will experience what has been described as casual elegance. The soft hues and comfortable furnishings prompt sighs of relief and a sense of relaxation as you make yourself at home. The water beckons you through the house and invites you to step through that back door and bask in the beauty of your own Private beach. Awaiting you is a wonderland of memories. There are 2 master suits, with king sized beds and each with their own bathrooms. A 3rd bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a hall bath with the children's bunk bed 'berth', which has 4-5' built-in-bunks. The gourmet kitchen, dining room, and glass enclosed living room, or seaside room as it is called, are open to the water, bringing in all the beauty of the gulf coast. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with Frigidaire Gallery stainless appliances. For the cook's convenience, there is a 5-eye range with a full size oven, along with a 2nd oven and microwave wall unit. There is ample storage room in the French doors refrigerator, and special attention was given to provide the quietest dishwasher possible. The kitchen also features an island/bar where guests can enjoy snacking or eating while seated on swivel bar stools. The dining room hosts a dining table that seats 8 and is accessorized with a hutch and buffet, providing plenty of space for entertaining. There are TV's in the kitchen/dining room, the seaside room and in all 3 bedrooms. Seating in the seaside room is more than adequate with 2 sofas, and two swivel/glider chairs. Both sofas add to the sleeping options by folding out into 2 queen sleeper sofas.
The outdoor vistas are unique and inviting. The beachside deck is home to a gas grill and comfortable cushioned seating. There is also a dining table that seats 6. 2 patio umbrellas offer shade during the day and can be lowered to enjoy the starry sky at night! The short walk to the beach is the best thing about this property. There is not a covered patio overlooking the ocean. The description describes a beautiful garden in the front but that is not being maintained. The bunk room is a closet with 4 bunk beds with no air or fan. Thankfully we did not need that space but I think others should be aware of this as the house seems to be on the warm side. The bedrooms are tiny with small closets and one room without a closet at all. The television in the master bedrooms need updated and we never did figure out how to get them to work. The port hole type windows need to be covered as you can see inside the house and one faces the master bathroom shower! Could not believe this! The water has a funky smell. One of the couches in the living room sinks drastically making it very difficult to sit on. The bedding is dingy “white” making us feel as though it’s not clean. The ceilings are very low so if you’re a tall family like we are be careful of the ceiling fans. For $8k for the week and mostly good reviews I expected nicer accommodations.

We spent a week at Annie’s Song celebrating our daughter’s high school graduation with her friends. The girls walked to Rosemary Beach for coffee every morning. They spent their days on the beach and deck, and evenings in Seaside a short drive down 30A. We shopped in every little town and took sunrise and sunset photos. It was a dream come true.

The pictures you see in the listing are from years ago. There is no cover over the deck. There is no open sky beside or behind the house because there are now 3 story homes on the right, the left and behind the house. There is no kids swing as the old pictures shows and the adult swing is not safe to use. There are and have been sand dunes and grass so it's not at all open like the picture shows. The listing listed a hot tub under "popular amenities" and there is no hot tub. The listing as since been updated as far as the hot tub goes but that was pretty disappointing when we arrived to not experience what the exterior pictures are showing and still are not showing. On a positive note, Ann was responsive which we appreciated when we let her know that the bathroom sink would not drain and the stopper was not working properly. Also the bathtub would not drain so it would fill up when taking a shower. And she replaced a broken bed frame in one of the bedrooms.

Everyone in the group loved the stay! Sleeping arrangements were perfect plenty of room for 7 people and being right on the beach is a HUGE plus. Great pricing for such a beautiful area and amazing views. My family will definitely be back for our own vacation!

We have been coming to Annie's Song for several years at different times of the year and are never disappointed. The house is immaculate and has all the conveniences we need. We usually don't cook and go out to dinner and breakfast during our stay but if we did, the kitchen is very well equipped!

This is the third year we have stayed here, we love it. The house is in great shape and is very comfortable. The beach is right out the back door, it is phenomenal! Anything we need was just around the corner.

Third time to stay here. We absolutely love this place. The new cushions on the deck furniture are so nice! The two king beds need new mattresses, though. The A/C filter needs to be changed. We looked for one but every place was sold out of 24x24. We cleaned the drain in the West bathroom sink. Now it drains well. We’ve been vacationing in the panhandle for 50 years. This is our favorite place!!!💟

Relaxation at it’s best! Great accommodations. The location and private beach can’t be beat. Days start with morning coffee on the deck overlooking the sea. Beach service with two umbrellas and 4 chairs is included. There is also a custom sun deck on top of the house! Comfortable beds as well. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beach home. I sipped lattes and watched the waves every morning sitting in the beach chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you could need. We used the charcoal grill almost every night. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

Great location and house for a family. Perfect for a couple with 2-3 kids, as well as a set of grandparents. The two king rooms are great for 2 couples, and then the queen room and by room are great for kids. The bunk room is really only suitable for small kids though, due to the size of the bunks.
The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are very nice.
The best part was the location to the beach - right outside your back door. Beautiful views and wonderful days at the beach.

Even the homes directly on the beach typically have boardwalks (albeit, private ones) with stairs and/or a gate. This property has a great deck which steps directly onto the sand. The best spot for dragging toys, chairs and kayaks to your spot on the beach without steps.
The sunroom and back deck are prime for early morning coffee and dolphin spotting. And late evening sunset viewing.
Great beds, great kitchen for staying in and cooking.

This house is in an amazing location! On the beach, close to a coffee shop, and so close to rosemary beach! I have to agree with the other reviews that the washer is very loud, so definitely don't do laundry at night. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances you could need, except there was only one cutting board, but that didn't deter us from cooking. We had chair service, which was so nice to just walk down to the beach and have those set up already. Just be prepared the bunk room is very very small, in the pictures it looks like a normal size room, but it is more closet sized, we were able to make do with that space, but if you planning to put adults in there just be aware you could probably only fit two adults, it is a perfect size for children though! Overall, this was a great place to stay, and I would definitely rebook the next time I am in the area!

Beautiful location. Relaxed on the beach as much as we could. The weather wasn’t the best, but we didn’t let it detour us from a great time. Lots of fog. I’d never seen that before. Beach is right outside the door.
You can even hear the waves from inside the house. Having chair service daily for the beach was nice. The house had everything that’s needed to make our stay nice.
We really enjoyed our time relaxing, laughing and making memories with friends.

Location, location, location!! Would return for that in a minute. The house had beautiful ocean views from the dining & living areas and really had everything we needed…but to be transparent, it’s definitely well-loved and worn. The back deck is the main attraction and we spent great family time there. That being said, it’s probably past due for some repairs…splintered & rotting wood in places & could definitely use some updated furniture cushions. All & all, for location & price…it was a sweet vacation for our family.

The location and the price are why I gave this property all 5 stars. We have stayed at Inlet beach several times and when I found this beach front property I was excited. There is incredible value in this property. It truly was only three steps from the back deck to the soft white sand. Made fishing and going to the beach super easy. That being said, also know that you get what you pay for. If you like to grill, be prepared to use a grill that is very old and should be replaced. We loved the fact that the unit had a washer and dryer but you need to make sure that any laundry you do is during the day as the washer is so loud that no one could sleep while it was running. When you leave the house to go to the beach, make sure you have shoes on because you have to kick the doors to get them to open. Also, when you walk on the deck, especially the top deck, make sure you have shoes on so you don't get splinters in your feet or stub your toe. The beds were comfy except for the middle bedroom with the bath attached, it was difficult for our daughter and her guy to rest and get a good nights sleep, they did however find the couch to be a comfortable alternative. The area the house is located is fantastic and a beautiful little spot. This place is like a cottage among mansions. Would I recommend this place to a friend? For sure, like I said before, it is an incredible value to have a place with a roof over your head on such a wonderful part of the beach.

First of all Annie is so easy to work with. The property is as advertised. Your back yard is the Gulf of Mexico. Could not have had a better week. Mostly relaxed on the beach all week. For the golfers out there. Windswept dunes is about 25 minutes inland and is absolutely in perfect condition and a pleasure to play. Thanks again Ann. We will definitely return!!!

Great access to beach. Private. Chairs and umbrellas set up everyday. This was our 3rd time to stay. The inside needs attention. Bedrooms are tight, some issues with the two master beds.
The back doors very difficult to lock.
The deck furniture needs attention. Unfortunately due to the building of large houses on both sides block views of beach but if it’s your first it’s ok because of the great convenience to the beach.

First, let me say i gave all 5 stars except a 4 star on ‘accuracy of listing, The outdoor pics probably need to be updated-lots of large houses around it now. With that being said, I absolutely loved this beach house! The listing is accurate in every other way. The amenities were excellent in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces-only missing smart TVs but with that view, we didn’t really mind. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. It’s an easy bike ride to Rosemary and Alys neighborhoods. My favorite thing was stepping off the deck onto a sandy path to a private beach, oh and a morning cup of coffee watching the waves roll in. It’s my heaven!

Spent w a week here and absolutely loved it! As advertised and shown in the pictures. Beach outside your door, sunset views nightly, nice kitchen and close to restaurants and retail of Alys Beach. Spacious for 7 adults and two kids. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Great communication with the host.

Winter Getaway
This beach house is like a breath of fresh air amidst the “progress” surrounding it. We’ve been vacationing in this area for almost 40 years and it is by far our favorite. The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking. We can not wait to come back.

Sister Trip
This is our second stay at this property.our last stay was in 2018. We stay along 30a a few times each year and enjoy the eclectic vibe of the various beach communities. What we liked about this home was the beach location, ranch style home and proximity to Rosemary and Alys Beach. The downside this visit was the fact that there are 2 new homes being built directly next door and directly behind the home. There were numerous vehicles surrounding the home and blocking us in every day. The noise level , trash and behavior of the workers was prohibitive to a relaxing vacation. There were also a few repair issues that need to be addressed in the home to bring it up to where it should be. The layout of the home is great and beach views amazing . The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfy. Thanks to Ann for hosting us in her home

Wonderful Beach
The house is located perfectly on the beach, no Long walkway or stairway to get to the house. One of the few in that area that is. So convenient. The picture is from a number of years ago and is not how it looks today. They are building a two story house next door, so a bit crowded. But we had a wonderful week with the location and the really nice beach and super clear water.
